Armstrong Garden Centers in Thousand Oaks

This garden center often has unique houseplants for a good deal. Every plant Ive gotten here has been incredibly healthy and grown exponentially quicker than some others. There are definitely some houseplants that you could get way cheaper at other stores, but its worth digging around to find the gems.

Great variety of healthy beautiful plants. They offer indoor and outdoor varieties, sun to shade, and perennial to annual options. Lots of beautiful unusual planters to go along with whatever plants you are interested in. Limited parking in their small parking lot so prepare for trying to find a parking spot on busy weekends.

Nice nursery with a great variety of different plants, trees, shrubs, and cactus. Prices are on the higher end with some items reasonably priced. For pottery, I thought prices were a bit expensive and have found similar ones for cheaper.

Pink Dahlias, Redbud trees, these purple beauties and many more adorn our Armstrong store. The service is exceptional. I can count on knowledgeable advice and great customer service.

Great selection of plants and other items I was interested in. Staff very helpful and also gave me a military discount.

Waiting in the rain for service. no help after 10min. one staff member walked by and gave a real quick answer and left. costumers walking away. very poor service. after i waited a good 20min in the rain, soaking wet they shorted my prepaid order.they lost part of their customer base today.

Just bought some nice heirloom tomatoes to try growing with my son. There was a great selection and I didnt have time to browse today but there were tons of other plants I will be back to look at on another day. Everything looked healthy and well looked after and the staff we interacted with were cheerful and friendly.

Annoyed. 😠 Bought two containers of ladybugs 🐞 each supposed to have about 750 bugs. I doubt there were that many in there, but whatever the number was, 80% to 90% of them were dead. At $11 per container, it’s not really a great price per bug.
