2023-12-03 01:13:40Place is very well decorated and you can tell this is a place that is more focused on the aesthetics. The foods are not bad but nothing too eyebrow raising, albeit the presentations are for the most part pretty good. Flavor was good but definitely not the highlight here.Food portions are somewhat small in comparison to less fancy Chinese restaurants youd go to, but lets be real here, if you going to this place youre probably trying to impress someone.Overall, if you are going on a date or if its a luncheon/ dinner youre trying to impress in this place could be a good option, if you just wanna eat theres more cost efficient places to go to.

2023-12-10 15:02:14This is a beautiful place to enjoy authentic Chinese food (some Shanghainese and some other regional cuisines, such as Peking duck). The Peking duck was close to a 5* and the chef even smoked a portion of the duck right at the table side for a different taste. I have never tried a smoked Peking duck before and it was pretty good, but I will stay with the original flavor. The King crab was fresh and as well as the oysters. We also had three types of fresh vegetables, including yam leaves, that were all good. The soup we had was the traditional rich seafood type that’s called 佛跳墙 (fo-tiao-qiang, meaning Buddha scaled the wall, or the soup is so good that a Buddha would eat this non-vegetarian dish). I was not impressed with the lobster as it was slightly undercooked. The black beef steak was excellent. The abalones were pretty good. By the way, definitely try the King crab fried rice that’s served after the legs were steamed. This high-end restaurant has a real modern look and yet the dishes were very authentic. I was told that several top local Chinese chefs were hired and each has a different specialty or two. So you will get a taste of Chinese food from different regions. Highly recommend, but be prepared to spend a few bucks here.

2023-10-02 04:08:10Exceptional luxury Chinese culinary experience and service. The staff are really friendly and the menu selection Array 36 has to offer is beyond any other restaurant in greater LA area. The environment is quiet and divine, definitely great for dates and business events.

2023-12-10 02:36:12Service and the environment was good but the food didn’t live up to expectations. Dishes tend to be on the sweet side. Beef was chewy, braised pork was slightly burnt, and I found a hair in my fish appetizer. Probably my first and last time here. Do not recommend.

2023-10-23 08:41:45Just found out about this place and it was amazing. The interior design is like nothing around this 626 area. You dont need to head to Beverly Hills for fine dining any longer. The location is a bit hidden, so i was surprised that it was a fine dining restaurant once we found it. We were informed it was a soft opening at the moment so we were lucky that we didnt need to wait for tables. Unfortunately we also were unable to order their special peking duck and a show because it needed prior reservations. The food was exceptional and the presentation was very unique. Their choice of plates definitely added to the design of the restaurant. The service was attentive. The waiters did apologize a few times for some delay in the food because it was a busier night than usual. I highly recommend the crispy plum shrimp and the lobster xiao long bao (very unique filling). All the other dishes were solid as well. The prices were a bit on the higher side for dishes $18-$36 on average but it was worth the experience at least once.Try it before the grand opening and the long waits! Though I would make reservations next time.
