Found this place on yelp. Absolutely delicious if you’re craving a great Philly, cheesesteak, fresh and delightful. They have lots of great things on the menu. The french fries were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend go give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Locals go nuts over this place, and IMO it was a bit overhyped. I was told to order the Philly Steak with extra cheese, and while it was definitely cheesy, the whole thing just tasted kinda bland. No real extraordinary flavor. I also ordered the Chicken Hawaiian which I thought was also bland.Ordering the large 16” just means two of the regular ones. It’s ~$8-10 for the regular sized sandwiches and 2x the amount for the large. There are lots of items on the menu, but the two I chose were average.The place didn’t decorate too much on the inside, but the soda is easily accessible to accommodate as many refills as you’d like. There are also restrooms for customers which was nice.I probably won’t be returning. That place wasn’t worth the price—the food just simply tasted bland but filling.

For the price that you cant beat anywhere else the portion is perfect and and very filling the Condiments they add is so good the mustard and cheese just go very well together I like veggies on mine so my rating is genuine! Definitely coming back!

Wife and I both got cheese steaks. We visit Philly pretty regularly and these sandwiches were not very good. Overcooked oversalty meat, bread wasnt fresh. French fries were just okay. We wont be going back for cheese steaks. Service was good and friendly.

Came here on a whim deciding to find a local homegrown restaurant while on a road trip. We ordered their Filipino food selections such as the bangsilog (deep fried marinated milk fish) and tapsilog (marinated beef). these -silog dishes are classic Filipino breakfast foods containing a choice of protein, rice, and fried egg. The marinated fish and beef were pretty good and would be typical of what you would get in most other Filipino restaurants. The lumpia dish was good too, cooked nice and crispy. Everything was cooked made to order, so nothing really standing their all day. Customer service was good. Friendly and quick service.

First time here and I was not dissapointed. The food was good; big portion and very reasonable price. This definitely will be my spot for a good Philly cheese sandwich. I also tried their Teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken sandwich (buffalo sauce flavored) and their chili cheese fries and all of them where awesome. It has a good amount of food options from phillys, asian and also some mexican items like tacos.

I only tried the Philly Cheesestake and it was the best I have ever tried in my life. Im not sure why they know how to make it so well. In reality, they should NOT serve anything there but the Cheestake because it was so good. However, Im going back to test the Filipino food just because the pictures they have on the wall looked really good.

My first time at the Alkobar and I was very pleased. The sandwich was made with love. I enjoy a well made philly cheesesteak sandwich and the steak sandwich at Alkobar did not disappoint. I had the Mexican philly and it was exploding with flavor from the pepper Jack cheese to the jalepenos, the flavors all went amazing together. I will return to try their pork belly and rice entree next. See you guys soon.

Good food. Friendly staff. Got a nice little mom and pop restaurant feel to it. My family and I were in town visiting, from Vancouver, while one of our kids played at the Sandstorm lacrosse tournament this past weekend. The filipino food was really good - we ordered the staple dish, Lumpia and Lechon plus their Philly Deluxe. When we come back and visit Indio, well make sure to stop by and grab take out again.
