Great place for some BBQ. The food was great and the portions were very large. Love how the meal came with white rice. Had the Pork, chicken and brisket meal with pita and hummus. It was enough to feed 2 people. Highly recommend if your in Crescent City and really hungry.

This little place is awesome! I cannot give info on the place itself since my wife just brought me a plate on a lark. What portions! What flavor! I had the rib and chicken combo and it was great. Three ribs were tender and fall apart without being too soft, which can happen at some places. Two big chicken thighs cooked perfectly. Definitely a place to check out and I will be back anytime Im passing through Crescent City. One note: do not trust the prices you may see on Google maps. My plate was around $20, not the $12 or $13 that it used to be but still worth it.

This food was stupid good. We got a combo plate with chicken, brisket and pulled pork. It easily fed two of us. We got the Mac and cheese and potato salad. The potato salad was good, but the Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had. The only issue, is I’m from out of town so I can’t eat here again! 😭

We stopped in close to closing time so the menu was limited HOWEVER…we ordered some beef brisket to go and the owner threw in some beef ribs. OMG…these are some of the best beef ribs we’ve ever had! Very well flavored and the meet was moist! So glad we found this spot!!! Since I’m not a fan of beef brisket, Hubby said the beef brisket was also AMAZING!!!

I have mixed reviews about this place because on ONE occasion, the ribs and chicken were amazing. However, I have been back several times in hopes of getting the same quality and have been sadly disappointed. The chicken thighs were extremely dry and way over seasoned and the ribs were over seasoned as well and way too salty. Don’t get me wrong, I like salt and my husband says I over salt everything but these were beyond salty. I was really upset because we purchased a whole rack and 2-lbs of chicken that we basically threw away (and it wasn’t cheap)! We have discovered that this restaurant is very inconsistent with availability of their menu options and we have sadly crossed it off our list of places to eat when we visit the area.

I have to be honest that I was a little skeptical when I pulled up to this place with my family. Its not much too look at and there is very limited seating, but the barbecued meat is for real. We tried the beef brisket and pulled pork and good grief was it good. Probably the best brisket sandwich Ive ever shoved in my face. I mean seriously it was that good. If I lived here locally I would get food here frequently. Its cool they survived the pandemic so hopefully the residents of Crescent City continue to support this great little establishment!

Don’t let the small size of the place mislead you. The BBQ is great. While traveling with the wife we stopped here. Unfortunately they were out of brisket but we got a combo of everything else. The chicken is amazing. The ribs are juicy and fall off the bone. They pile everything onto a healthy serving of rice. The sides we tried, baked beans, coleslaw, and potatoe salad, were okay. But you don’t go to bbq for sides.

First time here and definitely will be back! We stopped in for brunch and were glad we did. For what we got we paid a good price, $16 for enough to feed two people is a good deal. We got the brisket plate with pulled pork and chicken to go with it and potatoesalad and hummus for the two sides. The brisket had a great bark and smoke ring and it was very tender and juicy. The pork and chicken were just as juicy and tender.One thing to keep in mind when you go, the hummus has a kick to it, not in a bad way but it can build some serious heat in the back of your throat after a few bites. We found it to be a great mix for any of the proteins and the rice that comes with the plate. All in all, just a great experience and looking forward to going back for more.

Delicious!!! Got a sampler and everything was really fresh and smoked for a long time, probably 24 hours. Super tender pulled pork, smoked chicken, great ribs… Ask the chef about any specials, we had an amazing tri-tip! Big portions at a great price. If you’re in Crescent city don’t leave without trying Art’s bbq! That’s the only reason we’ll be back.

This barbecue is amazing! We are a family of six traveling across America in an RV. We were looking for a quick place to eat some good food and this did NOT disappoint.Art’s BBQ has four small 2-seater tables with chairs, but they let us push a few together so we could feed our “starving army” and get our sanity back. My husband is always looking for good brisket that isn’t over cooked, and he said these guys are spot on - they have mastered the art of cooking brisket. The kids tore up the macaroni and cheese, and our son with milk/egg allergies loved the baked beans, rice, brisket and chicken.The amount of food for the money was incredible. We bought a brisket combo meal deal and are headed home with leftovers for dinner tonight.It would be wrong of me to miss the opportunity to thank the guys working the counter and in the back. They were so warm and welcoming to us and had our food out so fast. We would come here again!

This BBQ was bomb! Very sweet and friendly family, happy to have stumbled upon this place online today. The chicken was so moist and tender, perfectly seasoned. Better BBQ than anywhere in SF!Driving through on vacation, the girlfriend and I were FLOORED by how good Arts is. Last month, we ate BBQ at the highest-rated spot in San Francisco. Arts was better. In October, I grabbed some BBQ from one of the highest-rated spots in Kansas City. Arts was better. The garlic white sauce, in particular, is to die for.The food is delicious, the portions are large, and the service is splendid. Art is also a delight to talk to, with a kind soul and a giving atmosphere. We mentioned how much we liked the white sauce and he gave us a big container to go! If Im ever swinging through Crescent City again, Im stopping by Arts!

The people here are always super friendly and I love that about this place. However, the packaging of the food, particularly sandwiches, leaves much to be desired. Not only that, but a pulled pork sandwich should have enough sauce to eat the entire thing without feeling like youre eating dry pork in a Bun. Im not sure Ill be returning here to eat, even though I do appreciate the kindness of those who work there. And many people I talk to do love their food, but I can only speak from my experience.

Arts BBQ is amazing. It may sound crazy (being in Crescent City), but some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. All of the staff were extremely friendly, the food was out quickly, and in large portions. My girlfriend and I had one plate for two meals each. Extremely reasonable for the price. We found this place through a quick Google search. The reviews looked good, so I gave it a shot. It was the right choice. This is a cool little bbq eatery located just off of the highway. Crescent City has a legit BBQ restaurant! Yes, it is that delicious, just like all the other reviews have said, except for that grumpy guy who left an unfair review. Brisket was great! Pulled pork was great! Chicken was delicious! Portions are huge! The plate order can definitely feed two people and fill both up easily, unless you are an NFL linebacker, then just get it for yourself! That’s what I did, too good to share! This day started with the rising sun looming over the window. Only for me to walk outside to the cold misty air throwing me down. I had this very underwhelming mid smoothie that made my day even blander. But for lunch I stumbled upon this very small and welcoming BBQ restaurant. It was so humble, so great. I could not believe my taste buds when they laid upon the soft yet smooth rice and comfortably beautiful bites of chicken in my bowl. We grabbed dinner to-go here recently while traveling and staying at an RV resort in the area. We went for BBQ as we had never tried Armenian food before. If you havent tried it either, you definitely must! Youre in for a real treat! The restaurant is small but clean and inviting. The young man at the counter made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and was happy to answer our questions about the menu choices. We chose to share a combo plate. The beef was perfectly seasoned ground beef on a skewer and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked over an open flame and it was juicy and oh so good! The pork chop was smoked to perfection. We loved the seasoning...it was unique and complimented each entree perfectly without being overwhelming. The meats were served on a generous bed of white rice with two side dishes. We chose a double order of the baked beans and they were scrumptious! If I had to do it over again, I would probably try the hummus along with the beans because I am betting it was also terrific. The portions were very generous and Id say dinner for two of us with two sodas for about $12 was a steal! I wish Id taken a few photos of the food but I was too busy enjoying it! We will definitely go back next time were in the area!

Amazingly delicious! This is BBQ with a hint of Middle Eastern flair. The meat is smoky and tender and the rub is just perfect. Here, the meat is so good alone, you almost don’t need the sauce, except that the sauce is divine! The portions are very large. Two people could easily share the wrap or the pulled pork plate that we ordered. I had the wrap and loved the combination of the veggies and chicken in flatbread. Really fresh and new. This is one of those places you find while traveling where the chef has honed their skill on one dish (in this case BBQ) and perfected it. Don’t expect lots of choices for sides because you don’t need that here. The meat is king.

The garlic sauce is the best sauce Ive ever had. Just cant say enough good things about this place. Why go to taco bell or McDonalds and spend $20 when you can get top tier bbq for even less?

Tonight we had the wonderful experience of eating at Arts which we found randomly on Google! We are from the Midwest and the crew is definitely opinionated about BBQ, especially pork and beef. The food here is high quality. It feels a bit more special then regular bbq, but it was pretty much straight up, but wrapped in flatbread. We had the family platter and were given a choice of multiple meats. The brisket, pulled pork and chicken were amazing. Wrapped in a flatbread with slaw, the pork was next level good. The beef kabobs were rolled hamburger and were dry not much bbq or smoked flavor.The coleslaw had very little flavor but the prices were ok for what you get. The place was very clean and the people were very nice. They got my wifes order wrong, the gave her hummus which was good but she ordered beans. We probably wont be going back anytime soon.
