Asahi Sushi in Granada Hills

Its an amazing place, the freshness of the Toro sashimi and the bluefin sushi made me come back 3 times in the same week, cant get over it

Great choices of Sushi the staff was super nice best service Ive had at this place since I started coming here the food is always fresh and fair priced.Sad to update the food is still good but the price has gone up a bit to much what you would usually pay for 5 plates now you pay for about 2 plates kind of bummed.

I love coming to this place and I usually have no problems.This last time I was there I was a little surprised. I started choking on something that was very spicy and I had to ask for water four different times. Everyone was standing around and it looked like no one was moving to help me. I had to get up from my table and walk over to the owner and ask her for water. Even after that, it took a bit, I was ready to grab the picture of water that was sitting right there.... LOL.... it was odd 😵‍💫I am going to chalk it up for a off night.Normally, everyone is always friendly and customer service is always great. The food there is always good, no complaints there.Im sure I am going to continue to go there because its local and I enjoy the place.

Exceptional atmosphere, sushi, and service. We have been long-time patrons of Asahi over delivery during quarantine and visited in-person for the first time today. The patio is gorgeous with lights and candles, and its similarly cozy inside. We were seated by the window. I can say with confidence that Asahi provides high-quality, delicious edamame (so fresh it was steaming), oysters, salmon belly, mackerel, specialty rolls, and sweet shrimp. We were refilled on ginger as needed. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, on time, and as ordered. The mackerel, for example, has a lovely glossy sheen when eaten in-person instead of delivered. The server, Micheal, was very thoughtful and funny, which added immeasurably to our experience. The pleasant music and atmosphere, the quality and freshness of sushi, and the service provided by Michael have ensured that we will return to Asahi in-person for years to come.

Been coming for a little over a year now, various take out orders, dine in, have had everything on the menu at least twice. Really good. The biggest thing is I feel their fish is a bit better than a few other places Ive been and they are also generous with the cuts of the fish and the amount that goes on a roll or nigiri pieces. Prices are right there with their competitors. I always enjoy myself when here. Definitely one of the better sushi spots in the San Fernando area.

Great fresh sushi, at a good price. Service was slow during our visit, when we would ask for something our waiter would forget and not return. Overall food is great, so will still be returning. Plenty of parking on lot, oh proof of vaccine is required to dine in.

Ive been a customer since this restaurant opened. The service and quality has never changed, in fact, it has probably gotten better. The fish is always fresh, and there are always plenty of options and specials to choose from. Highly recommend this for the best sushi in Granada Hills.
