Ordered food from here through DoorDash. The portions were large and quite tasty. I ordered 2 so I could have something for dinner... I think these are going to end up being closer to 4 meals. I will definitely order again.
Joanna is the manager here and she is awesome! We ordered the Banh Mi and Miss Jones boxes and the food was fantastic. The meats were very tender and juicy and the veggies were fresh and tasty. Well keep coming here for the great food and fantastic customer service!
Cute decor, average service. I got the ban mhi and didnt like it very much. The baguette was a bit soggy and I thought the sauce was too creamy. Will update if I end up going back and trying one of the boxes.
5 stars for neatness and authentic materials for decor. 5 stars for healthiness of the ingredients, 5 stars for hardworking young fellows. 3 stars for flavors, a bit plain a bit cold and could be better. I was concerning about how many or much wrapping materials been used here, a LOT of plastics or one-time-use and everything, but tension is released when I see this sign.
I ordered food for delivery on June 21 to the hotel near the airport I was staying at. The total bill came to $102.66. After the order was delivered and we opened the bag, we discovered that the three orders of cookies ($3.39 x3) were missing. We immediately called the restaurant and were told a refund would be made. Two days later the refund hadnt happened so I called and explained again the situation. I was told the owner would call me back that day. That never happened. Over the next several days I sent two messages via the websites contact page which says we’ll get back to you as soon as possible and Looking forward to hearing from you.. Nine days later I have yet to receive an answer. So if this restaurant forgets to put any items in your delivery, just know that theyll keep your money and ignore any requests for getting your money back for food you never received.
Ordered Vietnamese Spicy Chicken and the small amount of chicken cubes were very hard and dry. Way too spicy for the ordinary spicy food enthusiasts. Never again.
Ordered online for 8:50 pickup an hour prior to arrival. Phoned to make sure of business hours and recording said open until 9pm. Arrived at 8:45 and the door was locked and finally someone came to the door and said we closed at 8:30 today. Explained we had confirmation via email, order #, and $48.48 was pending in our bank statement. The reply was that he never got the order. We received no phone call or email to let us know our order wouldn’t be made. Never apologized and reluctantly scribbled a phone # on a piece of paper and said call tomorrow. So, maybe it’s delicious food that deserves 5 star rating but I’ll never know because we are only in the area for a day.

I got a steak box with all toppings. It was a very good portion and flavorful, though the beef itself was more corned beef than steak.. extensively marinated, firm & salty. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but not what I was expecting. Next time I will try other proteins.
Food was OK. I ordered the ox box. Pickled cucumbers and carrots tasted funky. Beef was very salty in a bad way. The cashier was not very happy to work there for some reasons. I’ll probably skip this and go somewhere else next time. Not that there’s a lot of options in this plaza..
Ordered from here on my moms birthday since she was in a nearby hotel. They forgot to put $10 worth of a cookies in the bag and we called to let them know. They said someone would call the next day to refund us, then gave us the runaround and also claimed they didnt have the order record. Also, the food was disappointing.
Home skillet that served me food gave me extra sauce. What a guy. Solid service. Food is always good as Ive been here hundreds of times. 🤙🏾 I recommend this place for a filling and healthy substitute to your daily food. It comes in a box with options of your choice and also includes the signature boxes. My go to is the workout, especially after a good work out. 😏 See what I did there? I recommend asian box if you want something fresh, filling and tasty.

I have been to the San Jose Asian Box twice now & each time, it’s frustrating. Their oven is always broken! As a result, the banh-mi has never been available. The cookies are also not there consistently. Additionally, the staff seem super new & unaware. This evening I inquired about the loyalty program (which is advertised in the store) & they were clueless. It’s disappointing as this is one of the few places we can rely on for a nice gluten free meal.
The employees here are incredibly nice and attentive. Food is delicious and flavorful. Found my new favorite food spot!

Food is very delicious but the lady cashier isn’t nice, she’s very rude and not friendly to all. I don’t feel like going back to this restaurant anymore. Male employees are nice though, I don’t know what’s wrong with their lady worker.
I knew ordering food from Asian Box was going to be a mistake when I could not find them on Yelp. I’ll put it this way, you are better off getting Panda Express. Asian Box food has zero flavor, the chicken and shrimp portions are tiny! The box is pretty much filled with vegetables that again had zero flavor.
First things I liked:They food was good. Would be ready to get a quick lunch to go.Things I dont like:Id only ever get to go here. Its loud and the seating isnt great.Ive been here twice the first time I think every single employee can over to ask how I was doing. Which I found to be very disruptive. I know they are new, but I was there to eat not teach them how to make customers happy.Also they didnt have some of the items. I went for lunch at 11am and they had already run out.The second time I went I had a coupon for a free box. They gave me the cheapest box free. Since I ordered a kids box this was not good. It halved the value of the coupon. It seems a cheap thing to do.Secondly this time I went with a group of people. One friend couldnt eat their food because of her diet. So she had to get something from somewhere else. We all started eating and she joined us, and they said she couldnt eat there. There was no sign posted or anything. They claimed it was because they are gluten free, but so is my friend. She eats no grain at all... Having a policy of no outside food is fine, but to claim a reason that doesnt make sense with the situation wasnt very considerate. We left and just carried out open food and ate outside. I think they could have handled this better.I doubt that Ill return here since both times Ive been bothered by things the staff has done. There are better options right there.
A very limited menu and Marina area prices, but the food is good and comes with some very trendy twists. Id definitely recommend their friend chicken on the house special and coming to this spot for drinks. Ive heard they offer a good brunch
Usually pretty empty; seems like most of their business runs through doordash. Its also pretty poorly lit when looking in from the outside, which makes it always seem closed. But the food is pretty yummy. I like the ox box, no jalapenos, easy sauce. The steak is well cooked and flavorful, and has very little gristle.
I ordered a Chicken Curry Box through DoorDash. Both times had barely any curry sauce (a teaspoon worth) and excess amount of rice. It tasted dry. There was not an option to add extra sauce, as they do not accept special instructions. The Spring Rolls were wrapped poorly and fell apart as soon as I picked them up. I will not be ordering from this location any longer.
Food is great but the service is horrible. This could be few of the staff only, but they missed items in my pick up and then I went back to get it, they just were unconcerned about it ... just handed me the item with no apology or a nice word for that matter, RUDE
This place is so great! I cant wait to return. The staff was helpful, warm and, professional. The food was amazing. The Veggie Spring Rolls sent me to the moon and back. I highly recommend this place.
The food came from the Brokaw Rd location and it was bad, cold, almost no shrimp and I requested extra shrimp, almost dry with no sauce, the bottom of the rice was burned. Previously the food came from the Pruneyard location and it was excellent. But not from this other location.
Not recommended. Beyond bad to the point of disgusting.I had the brown rice box with shrimp, all the veggies except jalapenos, the peanut sauce, and a caramel egg. With a Vietnamese iced coffee, the price was about $14.Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about the food. The crispy shallots were just soggy charcoal. The egg had a very strong offensive odor of dog food. There was a live fruit fly or some other sort of bug walking around in the raw veggies. The shrimp were an unrecognizable mush. If you had blindly handed me the box and asked me to identify the protein, I never would have said shrimp. Maybe tofu that someone attempted to press into a spiral shape.I couldnt make it more than about halfway before throwing the rest away.As others have posted, an employee came around to ask how the meal was. I let him know that the food was not good, and he offered me a coupon for a free meal. I declined: I wouldnt eat this again even if it was free.
Had oxtail box. The sauce was very vinegary. The sriracha sauce they had also had vinegar which I didn’t like. The meat was poor quality, dry and not tender. For $14 I was expecting more... My friend ordered lemon grass pork box. The noodle was so plain and they didn’t have any sauce for it, but the vinegary sriracha. I wouldn’t come back here.
The food had almost zero taste. The pork looked beautiful, but the fat was rubbery. I think it basically caters to gluten-sanitary clientele.

The food was average for Chinese food. There are better Chinese restaurants nearby. The ordering process is extremely difficult as you have to choose every component of your meal including the type of meet, type of vegetables, etc. The dining experience would be better if they had simpler choices like a Meal #1, Meal #2 etc. It was kind of on the expensive side for what you get.
We enjoy the selection and choice between base, proteins, toppings, curry, spring rolls, or soup broth. The healthy and fresh vegetables, organic tofu, meats, sauces, and preparations are delicious! Big favorites in our family.

Been here a couple times now. Diggin the Chicken Curry & the mint iced tea. Veggies are very fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice addition to the neighborhood.
So i went in today and they messed up my order twice, i got really upset and the manager Joanna wasnt even being helpful and disrespectful; poor customer service.
Meh. Boring menu. Food was cold as ice. Tasted okay, but wasn’t what I was expecting. They just throw a bunch of cold premade ingredients in a tray and hand it off. It’s like an Asian Chipotle except ice cold food. Won’t go back.
This place is 100% gluten free! Food is quite yummy with lots of variety. On wed nights there is a free childs meal with an adult entree purchase.

The meat for both dishes was completely dry and overcooked to the point of being inedible.The caramel egg in both dishes was also completely overcooked and inedible.Soggy rice. Overcooked broccoli.$50 after tax and tip. Not worth it. Will not repeat and would not recommend.

Make sure to get all the sides. Wife had the chicken with noodles, great tasting too. 2 meals, 2 drinks, all for $23.

2021-11-21 22:18:22Ive only discovered this place recently. And its been my go-to lunch spot for a quick bite ever since. I usually take the garden box. Its the best for vegetarians. You can also make your own box . Service is quick. Place is neat. Ill definitely recommend👍🏻

2019-03-01 00:59:31Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and made a fantastic recommendation on the Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Box. Great flavours with just the right amount of spice. Serving size was generous and the lemonade was next level fantastic. The restaurant itself is extremely clean and the use of reclaimed wood and materials helped to accent their farm to table and sustainable approach. Overall a fantastic lunch stop off in an area chock full of great options, and that has found a way to set themselves apart from other competition in the build a bowl fast casual market.

2017-09-26 17:22:46New place, I normally go to the mountain view one. This place is very nice and clean. Staff seem to enjoy what they do and answer any questions. They have favorites if you cant choose or make you own box. I normally go for the ox box. Food is say I enjoy it. Large portion so it is sharable. They do cater.
