Given the price ($14 at lunch) I have no complaints. Food was of decent quality. Prawns, sweet and sour pork, beef stir fry were fine. Sushi fine too. I loved the mini egg tarts the best. I didn’t like the fried rice or chow mein. I was very full afterwards and wondered if this place made any money lol. Service was better than average. This place is a bit dark so recommend better lighting.

I’m so disappointed in this restaurant and the reviews. This is not a quality food spot. It also does not have many Asian dishes for being an ASIAN buffet. The food isn’t replenished fast enough and it wasn’t very good. It was clean but that’s all I could say positive. Don’t waste your money.

We go often. Discovered this location about 2months ago. Been back 5xs so far. I love shrimp and is the main reason i go there. Lunch is around $10 before 4pm. Dinner after 4pm is $15.

If you have food allergies good luck, nothing is labeled. The bathrooms are vomit inducing. The staff is sparse, unpleasant, and not helpful. The whole place is dirty and the food tastes off. Soups are consistency of snot.

The food was not replenished fast enough for the size and the number of persons inside the restaurant. The restaurant was big, but it could have been cleaner. When you have a buffet, you must keep the food area clean at all times. I will not be back.

This place is a nice surprise. First off, the place, including the restroom, is clean!The server was efficient and friendly.The selection for a lunch buffet under $10 is unbelievable! They have limited sushi including my favorite tofu skin with seaweed salad. They have seafood - shrimp (three ways), mussels, clams, fish. They have the buffet staples - orange chicken (yummy), ribs, pot stickers, fried bananas, pizza, egg rolls, sesame balls, hot & sour soup, garlic bread, etc. Everything I tasted was well cooked! My favorite, however, is not something I’ve ever seen in a buffet before - egg foo young!

This was a pretty mediocre buffet. They had breaded squid which was cool and unique, but i think it would have tasted better non breaded in a sauce. Everything was very over cooked, the crab was so overcooked there was barely any meat on it. Suishi was just basic buffet suishi. I found it odd there were no crab rangoons, thats a first. Chicken was pretty tasty, but still over cooked. Price was 40 dollars with tax for two people which is pretty cheap so thats good.

Great tasting food, I haven’t been to an Asian buffet. What a pleasant surprise. Food very good and honestly the deserts were very tasty as well. Glad I found it. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a variety to choose from, and for the price very well worth it!!

I’m never going coming here. One of the ladies was really rude to me. I came with my mom. I told the rude there was two. Then she asked me what drinks I wanted. I told her I wanted two cokes. She kept on asking me the what drinks I wanted and each time she would raise her voice. I got mad and I told her. Lady listen carefully. I want two cokes sodas. One for me and the other for my mom. Then she said ok. So I went to get the food when I hear her asking my moms what she wanted to drink. I told her that she’s with me when I already told her. Then she was being rude to some guy. Almost yelling at him. Saying she can’t understand him that to speak English when he was trying his best to speak English. Her English wasn’t good. Even I understand what the guy was say. Terrible customer service. I should of left when she was being really rude.

This place is so dirty from the eating utensils to the floors and especially the disgusting subway looking restrooms. My cup had lipstick on it and not from me or any of my friends. Forks still had food residue from previous use. When I told the waitress about my cup, she became rude and kept raising her voice at me. All I did was ask for another cup. The food quality dropped more than it already was and choices are scarce since everything is empty at the buffet. Do yourself a favor and move on.

Theres a place called Hokkaido Buffet in San Jose that costs $4 more and serves you the cheapest fried foods they can get away with. At this place you can pile up octopus and shrimp.I called Hokkaido Buffet pretty good Chinese takeout but AYCE. This place is sitdown chinese restaurant but AYCE.A bunch of people have complained about the staff being rude. I would not call them polite. I would not call them rude. They seat you at your table, get your drink, and pick up your empty plates. Exactly as theyre supposed to.If you think theyre being rude youre probably entitled. You want a $13 AYCE in 2022 and you want the wait staff to treat you like youre paying $40 for a steak? Bruh, I drove 40 minutes to get here and its totally worth it.

Clean environment and great price. (Price by weight for the time being, due to COVID)The food was clearly fresh and hot. Steam tables were clean and well looked after. The food was delicious. I’m not usually a huge fan of orange chicken but theirs was yummy. Their Seafood is amazing - I recommend the muscles, they were addicting.The sushi was kept on cold plates, on ice, wrapped in plastic wrap so they were fresh and delicious. They have french fries and chicken nuggets made to order (wait time 5 minutes) for children or picky eaters. The young lady who helped us was professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

The waitress gave me and my boyfriend attitude even before we were seated all because he asked what kind of fountain drinks she had, WHAT DO YOU WANT she kept on yelling with an angry voice. He asked if we could have someone else serve us because she literally was acting so rude I seriously thought she was going to spit in our food. I told her she was being rude and she started yelling at me too. Such a sad person! I will never be coming back only been one other time. Anyways, if this happens to you El Michocano next door has great service and delicious food.

The part that makes it really a no star is the quality of their food.I had grabbed a deep fried crab, noticed there was a short facial hair on it, embedded with the deep fried corn starch. As I brought it to the waitstaffs attention, she said:Oh a hair? Let me see.Proceeds to pick it out of the crab. Tries to justify that it was from the mussels.Um no. It is not from the mussels.It was a sad bust for food finds for my inner foodie.Baked mussels were over saturated with sauce that wasnt cooked all the way because they layered heavy amounts of sauce. So when you bit into the mussel it was just kewpie mayo.Sautéed mushrooms tasted like it was sitting in some old sauce and expired.I like the honey walnut shrimp. They also had a spicy version of that, which was good.Overall, you do get what you pay for at this buffet.Weekend $16/adult.

We went today 10/13/18 from 5-6pm and the food was pretty fresh and good. Very savory. Even my toddler ate quiet a few dishes. Chow mein, shrimp, broccoli, and the seafood soup. Plus plenty more. It was worth the price. We paid $42(2 adults, 2 kids). They even had ice cream. The server were nice and took our plates pretty fast....as soon as they saw we were done. We really enjoyed it this time.

Aside from ups and downs. Good food runs “between the lines”. Price is fair for what is offered. Choose wisely. Lunch $8.75? dinner $12.75? .. This place was awesome pre-covid. Decent sushi, plenty of dishes to pick from and good service. Now, covid and the safety protocol has altered their business a bit. No more grabbing unlimited plates. Instead they not have a by the pound option. Yes, you can sit and eat, but they dont even have two water available any more. You must buy water from the bottle.

Went in on a Thursday around 1pm and the food was cold. Not very tasty options. It wasnt busy either. Ive gone on a Sunday afternoon when it was busy and the food was a bit tastier and hot. So, if you go, try to go during peak hour to guarantee your food will be hot.

Overpriced fair food. i went here because the reviews averaged a 4.3! yes they have an assortment of food but it tasted old. the fried rice was hard and had that tint of yellow just to give it color. my daughter ended up eating the fries. i did the like hot and sour soup though, but for the two of us, a 25.00 bill is not worth it. the environment was too loud. it also smelled very fishy inside. now were at panda express! just saying. :)

If a 0 star total was allowed thats what this place would get. My husband and I just ate at this place. We went off of the reviews thinking it sounded like something we wanted to try. We walked in and were seated. Once we got up to get our food we noticed the selection was not as accurate as earlier reviews. As we placed our selections onto our plates the food looked more moist then food should look. After eating what we could stomach getting through we asked for the check. Once paid and out the door faster then ever before we started on our way home. Not yet a mile away my husband started to feel ill. I immediately knew he was going to be sick. As I predicted hes been throwing up ever since we left. We will never eat at this place again. In fact well tell everyone we know never to come either unless there looking to get sick. 0-10, my vote 0 diners beware!

Great buffet spot in this town. Prices were very reasonable and staff were helpful. They have someone making rolls by hand in the back instead of pre packaged soggy ones. Great place, wish the ones around my area were like this. If your on the fence about this place, go for it you wont be disappointed.

Never given 5 stars before but heres why, not only are we greeted with welcoming faces and politeness every time we visit but their constantly asking if u need something or if u want another glass to drink unlike other restaurants where ur waiting 10 to 15 minutes for another drink. Their sushi is fantastic i honestly just come here for the sushi and soup. THe rest of the food is also great too but Im a sushi fanatic. But the main reason they deserve 5 stars other then their great food and service is because my family forgot a purse and for three days we couldnt find it until we remembered it was last seen at the restaurant we went back and it was kept in a locked box with nothing missing these guys are awesome. And if u like all the sushi as much as I do then this is the place to go.

I come from out of town and decided to eat here due to all the positive reviews and pictures and they were incredibly misleading, the pictures might not have all even been taken at this restuarant. The only good thing about this place was the service. The food was terrible, was not hot even directly from the kitchen, I literally felt myself getting sick as I was eating. Buffets are always a dicey proposition... With that said, we have been here several times in the last few years and have really enjoyed each dining experience. It is a favorite for our two young boys. They have a wide selection of Asain staples. The dishes are tasty and you can tell that fresh ingredients are the mainstay. We have spoke with the owner on several occasions. He does a great job of engaging with his costumers. It is hard to keep a buffet consistently at its best, I have yet to be disappointed

The food was horrible, bland undercooked, stinky and sour like it had gone bad. We were a party of three and the lady who charged us was confused thinking we wanted to pay as one person instead of paying individually . I tried to explain that we wanted to split the check and said we werent from around here and she just shrugged and was very sacracstic. Then she thought we wanted to pay as if we had only served ourselves once which we didnt, we served ourselves a twice trying to see if some thing else from the buffet was better but were equally dissatisfied. By the way we only spent no more than 20 minutes in here. The bathrooms were also nasty should have been our first indicator. Just horrible not even the money or time. If there was such a thing as negative stars Id give it a -5. Worst chinese buffet ever. Dont waste your money.!

The Asian Buffet had a large selection of oriental food. The main couses were primarily based upon seafood and chicken dishes. The sushi had only six selections. There was a large selection of sweets including jellos, puddings, fruit and pastries. Price was reasonable.
