2022-11-01 15:50:03Stopped by for a quick lunch. Ordered quickly at the kiosk and settled on a few dim sum dishes ( har gow, sui mai, soup dumplings and custard buns, and shrimp and chive dumplings) and a larger lunch dish (a wrap). The dim sum was fine; some I enjoyed more than others. I probably wouldnt get the shrimp and chive dumpling or soup dumplings again. The shrimp and chive was more chive than anything else. The soup dumplings were smaller than Ive had at other places (you do get 6), but there wasnt a lot of soup. Otherwise, it tasted as expected and was slightly less expensive than a full dim sum restaurant. Good for a quick fix and convenient. Not a long wait during Sunday lunch.

2022-02-13 04:12:36Food was fantastic and inexpensive. We ordered a few kinds of dim sum and some noodle soups, and honestly the soups couldve filled us up by themselves. The atmosphere is great as well and there is a lot of space. Would definitely come again!

2020-09-22 08:01:35You win some, you loose some, but in the end, we all must Dim Sum! Dim Sum is one of my favorite traditional Chinese cuisine because you can order as much as you like and go crazy! 🤣😂😍 They are small plates so you can try a variety of dishes. Asian Street Eatery recently opened up in Sunnyvale and I wanted to check it out. I got an assortment of dishes, including the Pork Siu Mai, Ha Gao, Chao Zhou crab cake, Taro shrimp cake, the Shang Hai dumpling and the smash cucumbers. My favorite item was crab cake, it was fried to perfect crisp and the sweet and sour sauce with ginger perfectly complimented it. It was tasty, crispy, and smoother in goodness. The Siu Mai was good, but it has the Chinese red sausage on top of it which was different for me. My friend informed me that different regions in China thats is how its served. The shrimp cake was also delicious, perfectly fried and went with the the sweet and sour dipping sauce. The Ha Gao and the Shang Hai dumplings was delicious with the soy sauce with vinegar. The smashed cucumbers was perfect marinaded, the pickled taste was amazing. It barely tasted like fresh cucumbers, which let me know they marinaded it for a couple of days at least. For my drink, I got the passion fruit mango smoothie to was down everything. Check them out if you are ever in Sunnyvale, CA. 🥒🦀🦐 🥭 @AsianStreetEatery

2020-10-03 18:42:43This place has an ordering machines that essentially are big touch screens with menu and payment terminal. This is very nice as you may pick your order and pay without any interaction with people and no lines (there are four machines).Or you can go over the counter and order there. The only thing is if you are waiting outside for your order you want to stay close to the door as they are calling the number quite quietly. The place is new, nice and clean, staff is very friendly, and the food is good.

2020-11-16 01:07:12A nice spot for low-budget casual dim sum. The dim sum items come in 3-5 pieces. They’re smaller than usual, but the servings are pretty cheap at $4-5.50 each! The pork belly zhua bing was a surprise for me. Share it with someone and get a couple dim sum items to split! They also have noodle and rice dishes. When you walk in, you order at a touch screen kiosk, great for no-contact ordering. There’s plenty of space outside to sit. A couple of tables inside are available too.

2022-07-24 21:18:27Went here for lunch on a Sunday and the ordering kiosks reminded me of the way McDonalds has it set up. Lots of dim sum favorites to order, including an option to just get a dozen of each. Each of the entree options has a bunch of ways you can order it - with noodles or rice, different types of noodles, plenty of modifications. The modifications might have been the reason it was so slow though. Although we didnt modify anything, the meals took 20 minutes before we got one of the two, and then the other came about 5 minutes later. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, so it wasnt an issue of order volume. The food came and it was...alright. we ordered duck noodle soup and the curry leg/thigh combo. The meals themselves were very scattered, the soup was akin to a ramen soup with pieces of duck on a plate on the side. The curry was a Singaporean style curry, but one bowl held the meat, and the other had broccoli, carrots, and a tiny bit of rice. It was like we had ordered two or three different dishes that came together, and not a full meal.Taste wise things were ok, but the flavor profile felt pretty toned down. It was like the flavors we expected were there, but they made them in a La Croix style where we got the essence of flavor, and not the full taste of it. We also got an iced coffee that could have been taken from Dunkin - which could be s good or and thing pending your opinion on Dunkin coffee haha. But it wasnt a Vietnamese style iced coffee for sure.Overall the place was decent, and a lot of people might enjoy it. The space is large enough to fit bigger parties and has its own parking lot - just expect to wait for your food.
