2023-11-07 06:20:05The wife and I had a few hours to kill one weekday morning and we didn’t feel like driving far so we ended up at Atlas in downtown Hayward. The area has been cleaned up quite a bit from what I remember during my younger days. The restaurant/cafe looks nice, sort of like a poor man’s SF cafe. I ordered the veggie crepe and my wife the Nutella strawberry crepe. Mine was not good, it was very bland and tasteless. It had a clammy texture and I ate about half just not to be rude. The crepe my wife ordered was better as it is hard to mess up chocolate, strawberries etc. but it still was not up to par. The lady that took our order was also the cook. She was polite but rigid. I miss the Railroad Cafe in Livermore. That was my go to. Haven’t found another joint like that since it closed.

2023-08-20 17:12:22The food was really good ! We had the breakfast crepe and a chicken sandwich. It was so good ! Thai tea was good as well ! We didn’t like the cappuccino though. Except for that everything was good 😊

2023-11-08 17:53:58Crepes. Crepes. Yum. Love this place it is so tasty and just the best place to work, go on a date, meet with friends. They make all the juices fresh and the crepes too. Great fresh ingredients. Can be a little oily but I also got heavier meals. Wish I could walk to this cute place.

2023-06-26 22:10:36Had the best experience at Atlas Coffee. I was travelling for work and wanted to sit in a cafe with good internet and coffee and this place was perfect. I ordered the classic Vietnamese Iced Coffee and their Grilled Beef Banh Mi. Safe to say that the Banh Mi was one of the best sandwiches Ive eaten. Their bread was very fresh and seemed freshly baked. The quality of meat in the sandwich was also really good. In addition to that, the portion sizes are very good for the price. Service is excellent and the lady who owns it greeted me very warmly and made sure to get me everything I needed. The atmosphere is very cozy and they have a cute corner with accent chairs next to a water fountain. It was very relaxing to sit in that area with the sound of the water. Overall a 5/5 if youre looking for a place to relax with great coffee and food.

2023-10-27 19:41:26It’s a quiet and nice spot. The coffee is not perfect, but the service is great. If you are not selective about your espresso drinks, then you can still enjoy your espresso at this cafe.

2023-10-25 22:48:35Didnt have food. Ordered an espresso drink that was horrible. She offered to remake it, still not right. They really need to hire someone who knows how to use the espresso machine. Wont come here again for an espresso based drink. Nothing like Eko.

2020-07-18 00:21:27This place was very cute and being sheltered in place I was very helpful that they had outdoor seating. I went there with intention C lunch but just end up having a cappuccino with a double shot espresso. And it was very delicious. I love the outdoor seating. Definitely plan to go back there in to have lunch. Soon and I will add an update

2022-02-12 06:02:42Although its now called Atlas Cafe, Eko cafe in downtown Hayward is essentially the same as it was when we lived here 8 years ago! They make great traditional crepes, traditional in that the layers are thin and plentiful, not in flavors. This smores option really hit the spot, especially because of the graham cracker bits crunch sprinkled in there with the melted marshmallow, cookie butter, and chocolate.Great cafe for working, too, especially on a sunny afternoon.
