Great little place. Theres no big sign on the store front, but its right next to Computech. However, there was a sign in the window. The food had good large portions. The country fried steak was very crispy. The pancake was very tasty. Overall, the cafe was nice and clean.

Wow! Outstanding vegan selections and I was stunned how good and authentic it all tasted. We had vegan chilaquiles and vegan scramble. OMG! Delish. Service was really good and fast. Restaurant was packed on a Saturday morning. Must be locals favorite spot.Thank you for the vegan dishes. They made our day!

Want a warm, friendly home like breakfast spot? Go here! They have vegan options and they are amazing! Great place for everyone. The waitress was extremely friendly and checked on us in a way that was attentive but not overwhelming. I got the vegan breakfast tacos, we got a vegan hash and also vegan french toast. All of it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if your in the area. It was a little hard to find being there wasnt a sign above the business but I dont feel like it needed one. Seems to be a popular spot!

An amazing breakfast place and their breakfast burrito with bacon is amazing. I stopped by here for breakfast yesterday since I was in the area and saw they had great reviews on Yelp. When I got there, I was able to find parking in front of the place. They have outdoor seating and a notice on checking in on Yelp but since they werent busy I was able to get seated right away in their outdoor dining. They didnt have a lot of staff so just be understanding of the whole situation. The staff are very friendly and pays attention to your table. I got their Breakfast Burriots and my waitress recommended going with Bacon which was the best choice.

After visiting in November 2020 and having such a wonderful experience, I had to come back while in town for a trip to Disneyland. I had the breakfast tacos (Im a vegetarian) and the regular French toast and both are excellent.Their homemade salsa has such great flavor and heat, and I am always appreciative when a restaurant has soyrizo.I am also a French toast over pancakes and waffles person so I think I have pretty high standards and I have dreamed about this French toast since coming here 8 months ago.My family members all ordered different items and arent vegetarians and they all are California natives and they all loved what they ordered so much that they wished we had come for breakfast every day of our trip.But what really keeps bringing me back is the service. The staff is always so friendly and clearly love the food and the place they work, and that can make or break a food experience.I dont want this place to ever go away so its here every time I come back.

I would consider this restaurant a step up from your classic diner, but they lack the frills of a more upscale breakfast or brunch spot. They serve up all the basics, such as savory omelettes to French toast. That being said, I actually recommend their French toast as their serving size is proportioned just right. Nowadays to look at the menu here you have to use your phone to scan the QR code. If you are dining in, you can order in person, but if you are taking it away, you can order online for pick up.

Disappointed about the country fried steak. The meat was not grounded so its more of like a pork chop with the meat being tough with a lot of breading. Hash browns couldve been fried a lot more. My wife liked her NY steak and eggs though and the french toast was good. If you want butter or hot sauce you have to ask for it as its not on the table or the servers dont offer it.

This place is amazing, probable the best breakfast I have had in a long time. I had the country fried steak with hasbrowns and toast. The gravy was delicious and the hashbrowns were the perfect kind of crispy! The staff was so friendly it made me feel like I was eating a home cooked meal. Hard to find mom and pop Cafe. The reason I mention this is that whilst Google maps brought us here on second try, it was hard to see the sign until close to the establishment. Maybe this is due to the outside tent seating that is set up in the car park or because the inside seating is smaller than the tent and the sign is obscured but we found it hard to discover from the road even though it is situated off the main road.The portions are plentiful however the taste is somewhat lacking. I ordered the salmon Benedict with added avocado. The salmon was big chunk and had bones in it, which would have been ok as I dissected the Benedict but the muffin was soggy from either the salmon or the poached egg and I had to borrow my hubbys sourdough toast to eat the poached egg with.The French toast was overdone and crispy, and the cheese omelet had the cheese grilled on top rather than have it folded into the egg mix.The best thing was the service, it was quick attentive and caring.

I went a while back with my parents for breakfast, my moms pork chop was excellent and definitely a good choice, my dad ordered the Chilaquiles and not gonna lie it was not that impressive and it’s one for hose simple dishes that you can’t afford to mess up . As for my dish …I actually just wanted a good breakfast burrito and heard from my moms friends this place is great for breakfast burritos..in my opinion ..at least on my visit my potatoes in my burrito were borderline raw ..it was extremely off putting and I ended up ordering blueberry pancakes(homemade and absolutely amazing to be honest) but even then she wanted to the burrito off our order I refused …that’s not how I roll..I still paid for what I didn’t like . I actually thought Maybe I’m trippin but others at my table were also repulsedNotice everyone I gave high markings, I’ve ate here numerous times …I typically get breakfast burritos elsewhere but I was there with family and wanted to try and was ultimately extremely dissatisfied ..I’ll say this everything’s great but breakfast burritos are no go for me .

There was a long wait but it was totally worth it. The food made the wait worth wild. For 3 of us, it came out to around $67. The country fried steak, eggs and the home fries were to die for. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Staff was incredibly friendly and it felt like we were at home with family. Youre able reserve your spot on yelp and I would highly recommend getting on the wait list. I will definitely be coming back.

Great place for breakfast! We went there because we heard it was good especially for vegans. It turns out the menu has a whole column of vegan selections. Five stars because the restaurant has good food and the staff is very nice and polite. However the portions are just HUGE! The coffee mug is more a coffee container. The omelette was enough for 2 people (3 if they eat little) and they served us 7 loaf’s of bread! And that’s coming from someone who lives in Texas

We have been trying new places close to home since my kitchen is under construction. This place popped up and I thought we’d give it a try.Almost drive past it since there is not a sign on the building. Just a little hole in the wall in a strip mall, not much parking.Food was excellent but we had to give 4 stars because several items came out cold.We are red chili snobs so I tried the chili before ordering the chilaquiles. It was homemade and excellent!! The beans were delicious!Hubby got the chicken fried steak with homesite potatoes. OMG!! It’s not frozen like other restaurants, this is the real deal!! The gravy was awesome.My son got a chocolate chip pancake. He has a sweet tooth. What can I say, it’s good but it’s a pancake.I think the cooks were rushing getting the food out on time, hence the cold items.Definitely coming back, just maybe earlier so we get hot food!

I was disappointed. I read such great reviews...I was truly looking forward to. I waited 45 minutes... long line so others clearly like it. Our food was marginal at best. I got their special (chiqules sorry for spelling.) and it was just not good. My friend got Eggs Benedict... just not good. The chairs not comfortable. The place is cute. Local art on walls. At this point I will not be back. That said... please note we only had 2 items off the menu and they were packed.

Youd miss it if you werent looking for it. This place is a small shopping center next to a computer repair shop and a beauty salon; however, if youre lucky enough to notice it you will be in for some good breakfast. Just like other breakfast spots of this ilk, you will be waiting for a table due to its small space. We went around a good time, 11am, on a Sunday and were seated immediately (YMMV). Our waitress attended us quickly, got our drink and food orders quickly. From placing the order to getting our food, it was about 15 minutes. We both ordered their country fried steak, with hash browns and home fries, toast, and a short stack of pancakes. The food looked amazing when it arrived at our table. The country fried steak was crunchy and topped with a creamy gravy, but the underlying piece of meat, unfortunately, was bland. The steak had no flavor on its own, which detracted from the overall experience. The hash browns were not as crispy as I would have liked, but you can order that to your liking. They were buttery, and better than average. The home fries, on the other hand, were amazing! They were perfectly cooked and were seasoned with some spices that the moment they touched your tongue, you were greeted to a medley of flavors, making you want to savor every bite. The coffee was not too shabby either, and you get your choice of regular, decaf, and hazelnut. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Garden Grove, and would recommend it to anyone. They offer much more than breakfast, and I will definitely be going back to try their other food, which I assume will be as good.P.S. All the waitresses had big butts, so they have that going for them as well.

Great Service, you have to get there early on the weekend if you dont want to wait. Its self seating. I ordered the Chile cheese omelets and it was amazing, the water is also good. It has a hint of lime juice in it. Also they have flavored creamer if you ask for it. Service is great, the guy (owner is very nice) and the lady that works with him is also nice.

I went to Aunt Yeses while on tour with my band last week and we all loved it. Most of my bandmates are vegan and after days of processed soy and gluten on the road this place was welcome respite. The staff was really friendly, the coffee was truly bottomless, and the food was perfect. Even the vegan dishes were real food. I hope that the next time were down that way we can stop into Aunt Yeses again for some real home cooking.

Aunt Yese’s is an unassuming hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot in Garden Grove that delivers some of the best breakfast in the area. While looking for a breakfast place, hubby and I stumbled upon this amazing mom n pop near our home. It had great reviews so we went to check it out. The place was packed when we got there and more people continuously coming after we were seated.We were served fresh brewed coffee in a real homey designed mug and not a plain white one. The friendly servers came frequently for a refill. They offered at least 3 times throughout our stay.Both cooked to order plates came quickly at the same time. We had the Denver Omelette and Chops & Eggs.Both servings were huge, where one plate is good enough for two people! It came with sides of hash browns, white bread toast, English muffins, and jelly/butter. Perfect for OMADs! Yes, we boxed up left overs for lunch at work. So we saved the cost of 2 extra meals for a reasonable price of $53😁Truly satisfied, were coming back!

This place is a neighborhood spot! Everyone who came in greeted the servers with familiarity, and we were welcomed warmly.I love a place that has vegan options right next to more conventional diner fare.Breakfast vegan tacos were expertly prepared. Came here a while back..mom ordered be pork chop,it was 5 star, my burrito on the other hand I didn’t get what people were hyping it up for, potatoes were completely raw..essentially no sausage almost all eggs and potato ..I couldn’t even stomach it. But the reason I give 4 stars is the pork was amazing, when my burrito wasn’t to my likening, I got the best damn blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had to make things right …service was on point I actually have been waiting to. This is the place to come weather your a veggisaurus or a meatosaurus, Big portions of REAL home cooked yummy food ! Everything is cooked exactly how YOU PREFER IT, without making you feel like your being a picky customer. My only complaint is that I wish they had longer hours. Coming here the first time you might not see it, so look for the canopy with chairs next to a computer store, you wont be disappointed.

Really good and tasty food here. I gotten a breakfast burritos here and you have to ask for their homemade salsa for it. It is amazing compared to the same green salsa everyone breakfast dinner uses. We have been coming to Aunt Yeses for a bit over 2 years now, so its surprising to me that I am just now writing this review. The place is small, but well organized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. I havent had too much from the lunch side as we usually go for breakfast. Nothing on the menu is too fancy, except the coffee. The Hazelnut Coffee is fancy and it is amazing!!!👌🏿 The food is sort of basic, but all well cooked. Ive had both the vegan and the regular pancakes which are both delicious. Both are fluffy could be enjoyed without the syrup. Ive had most of the omelettes which are always cooked to perfection, though I would love a bit of salt & pepper in the eggs. They have several vegan and gluten free options which is great for my Girlfriend. The Vegan tacos and the Vegan Scramble(both minus the cheese) are amazing. Even something so simple as Oatmeal is done really well with brown sugar and fruit that you can add. I love this place and you should most definitely give it a try!

Service was bad, food was bad. My kids eat anything with chocolate chips but they did not like these pancakes. The chilaquiles were good. But the service really blew the whole experience. They got our order wrong, and never can back to check on us after we ordered. We had find them to ask for silverware, for syrup, and finally for the check. Rather go to Dennys.

This place never disappoints. Their breakfast burritos aaaaaammmaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzziiiiiiiinnnnggg! They cut the burrito in half for you before they serve it which helps me with portion control. When it comes to breakfast, this is the best restaurant ever. They have the best French toasts Ive ever had. I totally recommend the vegan French toasts, even if you are not vegan. They have regular French toasts but the texture is totally different. Their eggs Benedicts Hollandaise sauce is also one of the best Ive ever. There is something about their thickness and flavor. Considering the simple ingredients of a regular Hollandaise sauce, I had to ask what is their secret. Pedro was very informative and explained the whole sauce process to us. Their pancakes are really home made tasting, just as they advertise. The red home potatoes are pretty amazing too. My only criticism is that the average wait is one hour to 1.5 hours. They have a good system so they text you when your table is ready, but still, if you are hungry, thats a very long time to wait. They have great outdoor seating but limited indoor space.

We got there around 8 Sunday morning and were initially surprised because there was only one person eating there although it had great reviews. We started talking to him and he told us we were lucky, that within an hour the place would be full and it soon was. And for good reason. This place has it all - great food (one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had) at fair prices, stellar staff - they were friendly, efficient and made you feel like they were glad you were there, in a clean, attractive room with nice art on the walls and great music playing.
