Overall good meal. Food is overall on the sweeter side, which is generally a characteristic of Shanghainese food, but seemed liked it lacked balance here. Interior is interesting, yet still casual. Service was very good.

I only ate the breakfast and it was good! I enjoyed the salty soy milk, the deep fried radish, the egg crepe wrap with the Chinese donut and the pork soup dumplings. The soy milk wasnt the best Ive had, but decent. The pork soup dumplings were good but not that soupy. The service was nice and prompt. Pro Tip: the deep fried radish was the surprise hit in this meal. I also wouldnt add the sausage to the egg crepe sandwich, it was small.

The food was delicious, the server friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.Came in with some expectations for this place, and it totally met it, and went beyond. The food was not only really good tasting, but came out in a fast manner.

I personally think it‘s worth my 1 hour drive with LA traffic to have this amazing Shanghai food. My favorites were the steamed pork small bao and glutinous rice shaomai. Service was great and food was delicious, definitely recommend it!!!!

The meat was so skimpy, chewy, hard and mostly broth. Noodles in a cup was better. For $15 you would expect more. FoShan next door was so much better.

The service was horrible. I ordered the Jian Bing with sausage and pork floss. They didn’t add the sausage and pork floss, so I had to drive back to the restaurant for a replaced. When told the staff the items are missing, they immediately said it’s in there. They tear the Jian Bing in half and realized it’s not there. They said they gave me the wrong order. Really?!? They wasted my time (it’s New Year’s Day), and you tell me this??? Overall, the food was too salty, the quality wasn’t great, not worth the price.

They moved to a bigger place! And the food is as spectacular as before. This is the most authentic Shanghainese food I’ve had in LA.

Very authentic Shanghai style food. We ordered a few things including the pine nuts sweet and sour fish and the stinky tofu which were spot on.Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Pretty authentic shanghainese food with good decor. We ordered a lot of food including wonton, sweet soy milk, savoury soy milk, sweet and sour pork, egg omelette wrap, and xiaolongbao. The only thing that didn’t taste good was the xiaolongbao - the dough felt too thick and there was no juice inside.
