Aunty Devis Meat Pies in Escondido

As a kiwi whos been living in the states for several years, Aunty Devis brought back a taste from home! These are the real deal meat pies. They can also do bulk deliveries if you live in the U.S. (California in particular, since they have to ship them frozen). Definitely would recommend!

These meat pies are definitely a must have! I had a steak jalapeno cheese and it was amazing!

We always get the pies when we come to the 7s tournament. It’s a high light for us and they are always very tasty. Even my three year old will eat them and she’s not a big meat eater. Always get Auntys meat pies when you can. Go Rugby!!

We literally follow them to every farmers market. My 5 yo son can eat three steak bacon cheese pies! We’ll be back for more meat pies. 🥧

Holy Hades! These pies are freakin delicious! perfect tender, flaky crust, and the fillings...oh, the fillings! Ive tried almost all of them, and the flavors are delightful. Personal favorite is the lamb and rosemary, but I love the curry chicken, mince and cheese, steak and mushroom, and feta and spinach. Heck, theyre all tasty. I got introduced to this place a few years back, when their truck would set up at events I frequent. Started with the sausage roll, for a quick breakfast, and was hooked. I buy a dozen or so (frozen), every so often, as they make for a tasty meal when Im low on time. Highly recommended!Update: I have now tried every item on the menu, and they all ROCK! Do yourself a big favor, and try this place!

Isnt it amazing when the stars align and you find amazing food made by amazing people?The vegetarian pies are wicked good. Both the vegetable and spinach feta. Its nice to have an option for meatless that is still a luscious, tasty entree.When Im feeling like having meat, the lamb and rosemary is my favorite. They work a New-Zealand specific style into it that is phenomenal.I have interacted with the people behind the pies, and they are warm, lovely people who pour their heart and souls into this family business.

The meat pies absolutley delicious my only complaint is for the price they a tad to small but Ill pay it anyways cause they are sooooooo gooooood

Im from New Zealand, which IMHO is the home of the best meat pies in the world! Id heard about Aunty Devis pie shop years ago (and may even have bought an extra freezer just to accommodate them!) but only got to try them this week, when an errand took me nearby. After being bitterly disappointed by various Australian meat pies in LA (all of which were too dry for my taste) I am glad to report that Aunty Devis pies are far superior (another example of New Zealand out shining its bigger cousin 😁)! My mince*-n-cheese was the perfect consistency and the pepper steak was tender and delicious! The pastry was perfect too. And Yay! I got 6 for my freezer to take away (not that theyll be in there for very long!). COVID may have stopped me from traveling home to see my family (and eat meat pies to my hearts content) but Aunty Devis pies fill the pie gap till I can get back to New Zealand. Try them! These are by far the best meat pies outside NZ .(..actually better than some of the bakeries in NZ.)Customer service is worth the 5 Stars. My 2nd order I was sent mince pies though I ordered mince & cheese. They were awesome and sent me the correct pies without hesitation. Won me as a repeat customer!!

I had Aunty Devi’s Meat Pies for the first time today. I have to say that I am hooked and will be a repeat customer. I have never heard of a meat pie, so I was surprised how delicious they are. I’m looking forward to trying all the delicious pies you make. Thanks again for introducing me to New Zealand meat pies!
