AYCE Sushi SCM in Santa Ana

They have different options. I ordered “all you can eat sushi” which has two different prices. If you want it with sashimi it will be higher price ($10-15 more). There are tables, booths and bar options to sit. If you are one person, they usually offer the bar. I chose “table” option. Todd the drinks, they have Pepsi, cold tea, water, etc. The menu was two paper pages that you choose your food items for maximum of 3 rounds. If you can’t eat too much I recommend not to order extra. Otherwise you have to pay for each leftover item. I ordered Tempura California, in n out shrimp, golden tiger, and Popcorn. They were delicious and I just could finish these items. For the dessert, they only had green tea ice cream.

Been here twice now. You can definitely get a good amount for the price. Although, it is a little lower quality than if you paid full price for each roll.Lots of great sushi rolls. No complaints there. However, the sashimi was just ok. Not great. The bluefin was mushy, like it had been frozen and then thawed. And one of the orders of yellowtail had a blood vessel left in it. Salmon and albacore were good.We had to remind our server about our orders several times. They would come and ask if we wanted more, when we hadn’t received all of our first and second round

Everyone is always so sweet and welcoming when my family and I come to eat. We love the foods selection, how clean the restaurant is, the service. Always A+!I also get a kick out of the poker game that is always happening at the last booth. Check em out, ask whos winning 😀

I used to order from here pretty regularly and was usually happy with it, but tonight i was disappointed with the quality. This is the saddest order of tempura i’ve ever seen.. i also ordered a roll and it looks like it was just thrown together and is definitely a lot smaller than it usually is.

The loooong wait was worth it I guess. The sushi rolls came quick once we ordered. There are tiers on the AYCE and we were pretty happy with the first tier. The fresh oysters were truly fresh. This place gets so busy so plan on getting there and maybe do an errand for a while and come back.

Came on Sundays lunch. It wasnt busy like before. Food are still on point. The service was lack of communication and attention. Servers just walked around not said anything, never checked on our table, and refill on our drink. Pretty frustrated to get their attention. They forgot a few dishes in our order. They just talked and laugh to each other. We always come here and get service by a different waitress. We couldnt remember her name, but shes been working there for a long time. It could be better if she was here. She always remember what we want. Whenever we come, she set up everything ready for us. Super nice and super caring. Compare to now we guess that they just hire some kids to be the servers.

The AYCE here is fresh and the presentation is clean. There was a bit of a wait to get seated, even at 3P-4P in the afternoon. Standard 2 hours, three rounds of orders. If you like unlimited sashimi, you can pay an extra $10 over Basic for the Premium AYCE (I think it was $39.95). The sashimi was my favorite-- SO fresh; the mussels were my least. They had many roll options which didnt include rice (I love rice, but it fills me too quickly, and I want more space for the good stuff, so I try to order items w/o it as best as I can). Overall, great experience, would definitely come here again.

My favorite AYCE sushi place! I go at least monthly, but usually a couple of times a month because its just that good. They have a great fish to rice ratio, their sashimi is smooth, and the owner even gave us complimentary abalone. Their customer service is always amazing and I love their quiet atmosphere. The music is not overwhelming and perfect for conversation.

Update: 2nd time and they get the 5 stars. We were the first customer today. Everything was simply perfect. Food, presentation, and service....and I got to Ioad up on the delish oysters and the incredible sashimi. Well worth the $38 per adult.We waited over an hour but it was worth it for the ayce sashimi. Was bummed a bit that they were out of oysters. Rolls are OK but nigiri is a bit off. Ayce sashimi again made up for these shortcomings. Service prompt no complain. I feel they will get the 5 stars next time!
