Took some time getting the food, but as you know, or should know, no one wants to work anymore at restaurants so that is the price. If youre THAT guy or girl who goes to places expecting people to worship you and wait on u replacing every SIP of water immediately, and serve you a Michelin star dish for your happy meal budget, this isnt for you, in fact no restaurant is for you, stay at home and cook for urself.It was well worth the wait. All the food I couldnt eat, I took it home for lunch next day...but I ended up eating at when I got home 2.5hours later 🤷‍♀️ I think we had namh spring rolls curry (best curry had in a while, so much flavor!) I definitely was doing my happy dance 💃This place is legit. Very tiny.

Stopped in Fresno for late lunch and came across this gem. The service was fantastic. We were a group of 5, we were greeted, seated, and had our food brought out immediately. I had the pad Thai and Thai coffee. It was delicious, hot, and the portion was great for the price. The server was personable and friendly. She was always checking on us and made easy conversation. We left happy and full!

The food is the best and very friendly service. The atmosphere isnt anything special, but it is clean and comfortable. Green curry is the best Ive found in Fresno so far. Parking is a little bit of a maze, but Ive always found a spot. You just need to maneuver carefully.

I usually come here just for the raw beef larb. I like it spicy and bitter but somehow this one wasn’t spicy. Decided to add a couple extra dish to taste. Ordered the red chicken curry and it tasted more on the fish sauce side. I was hoping it tasted more like creamy coconut. The beef jerky was on point. Jerky is a must have with sticky rice and pepper.

Place is nice and clean. Service is good. Portions are good as well. I ordered the yellow curry and it really needed more flavor. My rating is solely based on flavor and taste of food. If the rest of the food is like their yellow curry I will not be coming back.

Nam Toke was my favorite, it is now the Chefs special. Calamari, shrimp, steak, chicken, mushrooms, eggplant in a spicy sauce this is my new comfort food. The service is always great, sometimes slow but well worth it. Eating here 3 times a week isnt hard and it doesnt get old.

I have a very bad experience with this restaurant. I order small party tray raw larb and the hmong lady that work there her name is Nancy took the order. She say yea full tray for $65 dollars. When I pick up the larb they give me a very small portion only. I call back asking to talk to the owner. But this bs hmong lady Nancy wont let me. She think shes the boss. She argued with me on the phone. Just letting everyone know that this place is going to ripped u off if u go there. Small food huge price.

Dine in is allowed now and theres two ladies that takes care of customers. They are friendly and in 10-15 mins we got our orders. We had khao piak sen, beef jerky, and coconut 🥥 juice. I was sad because they were out of the pork belly. This place has been around for years. Its a clean place and plenty of parking. You should check it out.

Came to enjoy a dinner meal with friends - 8ppl total. We werent loud but were conversating and took about an hour total. Near the end, the lady hmong clerk rudely asked are you guys done?! From 2 tables away. My friend promptly walked up to pay. I didnt hear (until after the incident) but followed to pay. After my 4th friend paid, he noticed the clerk had double charged everyone(!); the tip was set to the same amount as our meal. We had to go back and request a cash refund since she billed our cards already. Clerk stated she didnt know what happened, mustve been a glitch - with that attitude, its got to be intentional.Food is overpriced and be careful when paying your meal; ask for a receipt and double check that tip amount if youre being serviced by the loud hmong lady.

Delicious food. We definitely want to come back. Not overly fancy but nice, comfortable atmosphere. Friendly people. The signs and very plain appearance might discourage people before entering but once inside, it is a very nice place with great food. We loved the tom yum.

B & K is one of my families favorites! Been eating here for years and the food is always consistent! Absolutely yummy and fresh. We always get the same things; Tom Yum seafood soup, their beef chow mein, chicken wings, and a pho. But we’ve tried other dishes and they never disappoint. They are super kind and always helpful. I really liked the restaurant had a good vibe. Plenty of people there for lunch. My coworker and I got different things. I got spicy clams and noodles. Very good meal. There was enough spice to satisfy my liking for spicy food but not too over the top. Good menu there too. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to sit down and wait for our food at a table and served us water while we waited.

The food here is not good at all and pricey. I only gave two stars because its editable. The tom yums vegetables was still raw. The pho literally has a few pieces of chicken and noodles (under cooked noodles). The pad thai sauce was watered-down. All three dish was very bland and the portions were small. Honestly very disappointing, the waiter was very loud and rude. She was listening to our conversation and keeps adding in. Overall terrible experience.

This place is awesome. They are usually really busy, but the food is the best. The service is excellent too. Kong, the owner usually comes out to bring our food or say hello, even if she is busy, each time we are in. So if you want to try a little of the best Laotian food in Fresno, this is the place. My favorite is the yellow curry.

Ate there yesterday. Requested for food to be spicy but it wasn’t even spicy at all. Tom Yum soup tasted like hot water with no flavor. And I counted four shrimps. Received the soup last. The laab was disgusting and I can definitely say that the meat wasn’t fresh to begin with. The basil beef was dry and over cooked. The papaya salad was the only dish I would say is decent. Not very authentic nor delicious. Quality and quantity is on the low side. Go to Pad Thai in Clovis if you want the best Thai food around Fresno and it is well worth the wait.

My favorite Thai/Lao restaurant in town. My fiancé and I have been going here for years and omg it’s always the best! We’ve had the Pho, Nam Tok, Papaya salad, Fried rice & Chicken and all are amazing. The owner is such a friendly and funny person. Whenever she’s there she stops by to tell us hi. I have noticed they’ve been short staffed but honestly I can’t blame the business for that. I go in there and try to be patient but normally don’t have a problem with waiting too long. Oh and btw, their Thai tea is delicious. Trust me when I tell you it’s so good!

I’ve always had a good experience whenever I come to this restaurant. The food is tasty and good. However, the last time I came the waiter was busy talking to other customers and didn’t even care to welcome us in. When we got seated and ordered our food everything was great up until my son had spilled some soda and I asked for a cloth to clean it, she didn’t say a word to me but let out a sigh and just walked to the back. She came back out and asked us to move to the next table, and we literally moved all of our plates all by ourselves to the next table, which made me annoyed because she could have easily just put some cloth over the spilled soda and let us finish our food first then she can mop it after we were done. The other waiter knew that I was a bit unhappy and most likely told that waiter in the back and that waiter walked out from the back and said “Well it’s not my fault!”. I could’ve have easily went off but I didn’t. My husband knew I was upset so he went and payed for our food and then we left.What I want to say to her is first of all, it’s a just a spill, things happen, it wasn’t intentional. She could have put a cloth over the spilled soda and let us finish our food first instead of telling us to move all of our food by ourselves to the next table. And also, if she doesn’t want to clean and is upset, then why is she even working there in the first place. She was already mad from the start because of the spill. 😒

Love this place! If youve ever eaten at Thai Fusion when it was opened. It branched out from this place. Its small but its nice and not a lot of parking so be aware of that. You can always order ahead too. Everything Ive ever tried has been absolutely delicious. If youre craving Thai food. Come here.

Great food here, but the server kept rolling her eyes at me and didnt respond back when I asked for my veggies on the side for the soup and for the tab, my husband laughed. I cant believe I even left her a dollar. Come for the food and dont tip rude servers. But the cashier was very nice by the way.

Disabled potential customers beware: No Handicap Parking and bathrooms door is closet-size narrow.Our family went to eat at this long established Asian restaurant for Mothers Day to find their facility is lacking ADA access. This made our parents and grandmother very uneasy.I remember coming here back when they first opened in the late 90s... when they had no windows actually. The food was better tasting back then. Currently the price and portions are in opposite directions in favor of the owner. Not a fan. Gave 2 stars because the workers were friendly and prompt despite it being crowded.

Great variety of food, easily the best Thai/Lao restaurant in the Fresno/Clovis area. I love both of their Phad Thai styles, Laab, and Tom Kha (insanely delicious). The papaya salad is the best I have ever had. In regards to flavor and taste, B&K is the best hands down.

I think their food is awesome. There customer service has improved a lot more than how it use to be..its more friendlier now and they check on you once in awhile, whereas it wasnt like this before. The only thing that is still the same, which is the reason why I ding go theres as often as i would to a place with great food, is that their portions are so darn small. I personally think the small portions that they give is not worth paying for. This is just my personal opinion. I know they have to make money etc but if Im comparing it to other great places thats similar to them, their portions is too small to go often. Its only when Im really craving the dish they gave thday nobody else does, like their laab, then I would drop by..but thats like maybe once a year. I recommend you check it out. You might think differently.

We came here with the intention of supporting a local business and we love Thai food! Its a good size restaurant, small tables, and really busy during lunch hour! The waiter who helped us was super awesome. He helped us learn more about the traditions and how to pronounce the names, loved that he was so passionate about sharing his culture with us. My friend and I both ordered the Kow Poun (pronounced Cow Poon). It came out within about 5 minutes. I didnt have to add any seasoning or sauce because it was extremely flavorful! Im salivating just trying to describe it. It was slightly spicy, but not too much, it added to the taste just perfectly. The chicken was nicely shredded. It was so good, I didnt even talk much. My senses were all occupied by the delicious blend so many herbs and spices. I ate it so fast that the soup was still steaming by the time I was done. I would definitely love to try their other dishes.My only gripe is the limited and awkward parking lot. My suggestion would be to park on the curb adjacent to the restaurant if you dont want to deal with the parking lot. Highly recommend the food and wonderful services.

Maybe the best Southeast Asian Food Ive had! And thats saying something since Ive been there and Fresno and Cali generally is blessed with great SEA restaurants. While it might not be obcious at first they specialize in Lao food. Never had Lao food dont worry the wait staff is friendly and knows how to make recommendations. Try the Lao Beef Jerky its the perfect blend of sweet savory and fishy or the hot beef salad I ordered mild and it was still pretty spicy so chili light weights be warned. This is my new favorite Asian resturant I in Fresno!

Some of the food is very good. I like the curry fish, larb and nam tok. The only thing is that its pretty expensive and does add up. Party of five and we were close to $100. After 25 minutes of waiting for our rice plates and 4 ppl coming in 5-10 mins after us but getting their food first.. I went to the counter just to ask how much longer its gonna be for our order since it was a lunch break and I had to drop my friend back off at work - the miserable old lady with braces whom Im told owns the place was quite rude with her answer talking to me like Im stupid and as if I was asking too much when we just paid almost $40 for our meal.. Been going here for years and was always treated differently but shrugged it off because I liked the food.. But not anymore. You obviously have to be asian to get treated decent in this place. I wont be going back to this establishment and I recommend you dont either. They should be ashamed.

I have been going to B & K for about 5 years now. Ever since I moved out of LA I hunted for a good thai place until I found them. It is the ONLY Thai restaurant I recommend. Their dishes are so spot on. I feel like other restaurants are either bland or sloppy with their dishes. Everything at B & K has great texture, perfect seasoning, and fresh. My favorites include : Yum Nua, Pad See Ewe, and Chicken Satay (discontinued :( )
