Baan Thai Restaurant Was excellent. I had vegetarian Pad Thai with tofu tonight 6/1/2023. The new owner Baan is friendly and welcoming. They really spruced up the seating area and dinner was authentic & delicious. Highly recommend.

Forever on the search for the best Thai in Santa Rosa, this might come pretty close. Their Pad See Eew is delicious. The noodles are tender (always what I critique first, and the most), the chicken is also. I dont love how many bell peppers are included, but I can pluck them out. Ive gotten the Pad Thai once or twice, but that cant live up to my favorite, in San Rafael. However, Baan Thai has Tom Kha Gai to die for. It is so delicious I dont even know how to describe it. Remember when foodgasm was a thing? The Tom Kha brought it back for me. I got a lunch special Pad See Eew, and a side of Tom Kha came with it. I was making so much noise as I ate it, Boyfriend thought something was wrong. If you havent tried it, do yourself a favor and try it. You wont regret it.

Picked up some fresh spring rolls as a snack and they were dry, the noodles inside were over cooked and they were overall pretty flavorless.

The food here has no soul. Was so disappointed in the weak flavors and the unauthentic preparation. If you think this is good Thai food I’m sorry but you just haven’t been out much. The staff was really nice though and the restaurant was clean.

Under seasoned. I got Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and there is not a lot of flavor at all, which is a bummer because it is cooked well! Chicken Satay is cooked well and actually a lot of chicken, but the peanut sauce is flavorless and watery. Bummed.

Very good. I had the drunken noodles. Vegies were tender crisp, served hot off the wok. The price was reasonable. Service was quick. I will come back.

Wow! First time ordering from here last night and we were impressed! Food was fresh and delicious and on point with flavors described on the menu. Servings were generous and great value. My husband picked this place which is usually 20 - 30 minutes from home BUT the DoorDash delivery arrived quickly and the food was still so hot!! This is now our Thai go-to place :-)

This is the tiny portion that I got for $23 the coconut rice was great but the rest of it was rubbery and Bland. I paid $3. 50 for peanut sauce and look how much they gave me. Do not go here ordeal do not go here for good service and do not go here for good food.

This was the ABSOLUTELY of the BEST pad thai dishes I have ever eaten in sonoma county, and in general and FYI i grew up eating and still do eat thai quite often ( just look at my other reviews). I can understand why other people rate this restaurant low- if you want to eat out for an experience this may not be the place, it is small, dim, hot and the adorable little old lady who took my order does not speak fluent English.. BUT WHOTF CARES!? its the food, its all about the food, and has always been about the food when i rate a restaurant (unless the staff are rude or place is gross[luncheon]). now I have only eaten the one dish here but I would bet the farm its all as good, and it came with a splash of tom kha kai (coconut milk soup) that wasnt too sweet (for once) & was D lish, with broccoli? yum. get it to go, and leave a nice tip. the grandmom & pop will appreciate your business and cook you a wonderful meal.

Absolutely loved it. The food comes in three spices. Mild, medium, and hot. The prices are decent nothing too crazy. The only downside is the food doesnt come in the best portions. I recommend ordering extra rice to make sure you get your fill.

The lunch I had there was, without a doubt, the worst Thai food Ive ever had. I dont know if this was a one-off or what, but it was reminiscent of a freezer burnt microwave dinner. The appetizer soup they provided was quite good though, so I hope I just had a bad plate.

I will meet my wife there for lunch now and then since it is the closest Thai near Windsor. It is pretty good for lunch and is a little bit different regional Thai than others in the SR area. I have ordered various items that I havent had at either Thai House or Thai Pot. I havent been there for dinner, but the lunch special menu is just right. But I will say that it did change somewhat from when it was sold a year or so back and they got a different cook.

Great food! Their soups are some of the best I have had, cant go wrong. I have eaten there as well as taken soup to go. You have to try the Tom Yum soup, we do it with just vegetables.

Ive been eating here for years and happy to see they are still open and great as ever! Chicken Satay and Pad Thai are the best, but the green and red curries are also worth a taste.

WE GOT SPLASHED WITH WATER TWICE BY THE SERVER!!After we had a cup of soup the server drops my plate on the table really hard.. Pretty rude..Then when shes going to get water, she splashes me with half a pitcher of water.. In my lap and on my t-shirt. It looked like it was on purpose but I wasnt 100% sure.. She didnt apologize, just said it was an accident..She comes back wth another full pitcher of water and pours on my friends face, dress jacket and lap as well! Crazy.. See pictures added.. Shes a psycho!! Its the owners daughter.. When we said we were going to post a horrible review online she said they would do fine without us.. The server said she manages the place, and her poor parents had to give us a free meal..Dont go here unless you bring a bathing suit. The server is totally bonkers!

Took 45 minutes for our to go order. It was wrong it was cold hopefully i can take it back in the morning and they will resolve it otherwise Ill let you know very bland never go back I problemo ever go back I was really displayed
