It was our first time here @ bacon we sat outside i like how it sets up love the atmosphere. They have great food served freshly made I’ve got the quality of food what I expect. Definitely will be back

So I can needed the impossible a quick bite to eat before doing tourist stuff on 4th of July.Everything is closed in this town but bacon … we stroll in at 8:55 am. Some how some way with a full restaurant we were served and out in 35 minutes. Incredible!!!The speed of service the quality of food is next level. This place would rival some of the busiest best run restaurants in New York City or Los Angeles. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Also there’s parking in the back which is lovely.

I was looking for a place to sit down, have a bite to eat, & do some reading. I not only found a nice place to do that, but I was also delighted to see that they had some vegetarian options on the menu. The food was delicious & hit the spot after being gone from good ole fashioned American food for many years. The staff were attentive & kind. The atmosphere was pleasant. Not much to complain about at all. I’ll be back before I leave!

Bacons burgers are tasty and good. Even their fries are crisp and their salad sauce is spectacular. But after sitting we have to wait for another hour or so to get our food. The price is also kind of expensive for the size of the meal. The food and the kind staff are the redeemable qualities of Bacon.

We came here for breakfast and kept coming back for the next 3 mornings. Real napkins, friendly and prompt welcoming hostess/waitresses. Coffee refills flow, inside can be a bit warm but there are fans. The quality of the food is amazing. They use real maple syrup and it is not an extra charge. Most are Thai and are so warm and welcoming. The condiment bottles are clean and full, seems like an insignificant item it is not.Salt & pepper grinders at each table would be great.Strong rec, dont sleep. In support of small, locally owned business this place gets it right.

One of my Favorite spots in Novato!!! This small family owned restaurant is a go-to whenever I am in the mood for a great breakfast or lunch. Everything is made with care and I never get the feeling that things were slapped together in a rush.When I go for breakfast I love the hash brown selections and I often add a side of fried chicken. It is amazing, they add something special to the batter that makes it amazing! If you havent ever tried it, take the Millionaires bacon out for a spin. what a treat!If there for lunch their burgers dont disappoint (try the bacon burger).One of the other things that I love about this place is that the owner and family donates a lot to community efforts. As a resident that has children in the school system I appreciate and will support a local business that reinvests in the community.With that being said, what are you waiting for??? See you there!Actually, this makes me hungry, Im gonna have lunch there now :-)Update 05/31/22:They added a fried chicken sando to the menu. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!! Food was ok. Probably would have rated it higher had the service and atmosphere been better. Took forever to get waited on. The restaurant was like sitting in an oven. When we got our food, I just wanted to eat and get out. Very uncomfortable! You can do better.

This simply named restaurant can be really busy on the weekends like it was for me on Sunday. I did have to wait almost 45 minutes from when I ordered until my food arrived, but I didnt mind. During that time, the friendly staff was attentive when I needed refills on my ice water, which is a plus. French toast was good, scrambled eggs were nicely cooked, and the bacon was crispy.

After reading so many positive reviews of this restaurant, I decided it was finally time for me to stop in and check it out for myself.I ordered the classic eggs bennedict with fresh fruit, country potatoes and a side of pork sausage.The staff was very nice, took my order promptly.The food arrived very quickly, less than 10 minutes.Everything was absolutely delicious!The eggs bennedict were the best I have had in quite some time. First off, pairing the ingredients with a chibata roll is genius!The Canadian bacon was thick cut, and I loved that.The egg was cooked perfectly with plenty of delicious gooey yolk which was absorbed by the roll. Yum!The hollandaise sauce was to die for! You could tell it was made in house, so good!The country potatoes were really good.The sausage links were tasty but average.After I got my meal, I decided I couldnt come here without trying their bacon.I am glad that I did.I was given 3 thick slices and they were wonderful!Overall, I am glad that I stopped in and will for sure be back.This really is a good addition to the food scene in Novato.

One of the top places Ive ever been to! Servers were extremely professional and attentive. Atmosphere was wonderfully clean and exquisite. Food was expensive but i would gladly pay for it again! The cook/chef who made it was the one who actually brought it out to me himself. The servers followed up with me to make sure everything was going well (rare these days). They were very timely in bringing me my meal and giving me my bill. They directed me to the restroom which was shared with the haircut place neighboring them which was spotlessly clean and well stocked. When i exited they made sure i didnt forget the item i had left on my table. Please visit this place if you are looking for breakfast/lunch!!

Historic Novato has many great restaurants for brunch and we just picked the one with the shortest line at the door. Bacon is a cute cafe with interesting art on the walls and a small outdoor seating area. I ordered a ribeye and fried egg sandwich and my daughter ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and a side of bacon. The place was busy but there wasn’t a long wait to be seated. We could tell it was a family owned restaurant and it looked like the entire family working and some friends too. My sandwich and fries were served hot and tasted good except for the bacon that was practically raw. My daughter’s eggs were much over cooked with a little cheese sprinkled on top and browned. She had told the waitress she like her scrambled eggs soft and damp so these were a major disappointment. Especially after waiting 50 minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress never came back. We waited so long for our check, when I saw her bussing another table across the room, I walked over to her and she ignored me as she walked around and completed several chores with me behind her. She knew I was there though because she was making her way to the register to get my ticket. It was comical almost, if we hadn’t been there for over 2 hours at this point. Homemade jam was good. Employees were friendly albeit inefficient.

Frittata was good not great and small, for a high price ($17), with zero presentation, though thats a very small quibble (literally just turned the pan upside down and plopped it out on a plate and brought it out). Tea was extremely dilute and weak (they put one tea bag in an entire pot, why? I would have been happier if they just got water in a mug with the one tea bag on the side, it would have been so much better), almost undrinkable, and our waitress seemed extremely annoyed to be working there and was unfriendly when we ordered and later when we asked for milk for the tea/coffee. The other waiters were much more friendly.Will not be returning.

I dont know how they got the French Toast crunchy on the outside and light on the inside but Im coming back for more. Ambiance and staff were great. I saw that they had a fried chicken sandwich on the menu and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the chicken texture was that of a rubber sole and had little flavor. The french fries were unique but several were stuck together and undercooked. Would not recommend this item.

This is the best restaurant in Novato (except Taki, but that is Sushi) and you have to go there and try it. The ingredients are amazingly high quality, the staff is amazing, and the prices are good. It is clean, has an amazing menu of amazing food, and excellent service. Go here and I assure you you will be back soon.Edit: I see a couple of bad reviews please ignore them. Bacon makes the best cheeseburger around. Juicy, thick, on a brioche bun. Great fries and a small salad comes with. Also a variety of Benedicts. Menu has a big variety of options. I had heard good things about Bacon and have been wanting to try it. Yesterday we decided to reward ourselves after running errands with a very late breakfast. Occupying quite a large space it offers indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for outdoors, ordered lattes and sat comfortably beside attractive flower boxes. Our timing was unfortunate because, being lunchtime, it was very busy and the person serving the terrace was rushed off her feet; so it was quite a wait to order and again for the food to arrive. Others we could see were having a similar experience. The menu is quite extensive and the eggs, corned beef hash and spinach were delicious. Overall I liked the ambience and would visit again with the caveat of choosing a less busy time.

It was amazing. On Fridays they dont open till 9:00 a.m. we got there at 8:15 they were having a special meeting inside with a group of gentlemen. We told the lady we will come back but the lady said no if we wanted to sit outside she would turn on the heaters and we could order now. It was not too cold outside and the heaters were perfect. I thought that was very nice of them to accommodate us 45 minutes before they opened. We had a cup of coffee my wife ordered the eggs benedict with the honey bee bacon and asparagus and I ordered the eggs sausage which both came with fried potatoes or hash browns we both picked the fried potatoes. My wife is very picky about eggs and on her first bite she looked up at me and says oh my God the eggs are perfect. I told her mine were too everything was fantastic the service there is excellent very very sweet people. Never had to wait for a refill of my coffee. I highly recommend this place we have been here a couple times before and will be back again.

Super tasty. Great service. Our first time at Bacon after a loyal customer recommended it. True to their name, the bacon is AMAZING. I had eggs Benedict, substituted the ham for bacon (per another customers suggestion) and it was super good. Hollandaise sauce is very light, true hollandaise. Overall great experience. Not a massive plate of food - neither of us left a bite on the plate, nor did we roll out of there unable to move. Reasonable portions, and tasted great.

Next their eggs Benedict is top notch and they have a big variety of options. I had the Mickey last time which is with corned beef hash and it was out of this world. I recommend that especially if you like corned beef hash in general.Seating is comfortable and food is fast. This has been my new spot lately. Very solid average rating.The good: The food was mostly pretty good. Benedict was good (just a bit burnt), the bacon was good, and the fries were amazing. The location is convenient, and the service was nice enough.The bad: The burger, done medium, was burnt a bit. The veggies in it were really reminiscent of a Trader Joes garden mix, for better or for worse. The place was PACKED, even more than Id have been comfortable with pre-pandemic. Like if there was a fire or something I have no idea how people would safely get out, but Im sure theyve done their due diligence. It just felt really packed. One of the walls (closest to us) had turf (?) on it...yeah like the grassy dirt stuff on sports fields. The price also wasnt worth the food. I dont spend too much time in Novato, but in other places Ive been, the amount of food we got wouldve been a fraction of what we ended up paying. Also the servers, though nice, never checked in on us. Just the order, then the bill. Maybe thats since it was so packed?Anyway, we might come back for the fries - theyre expensive but theyre super good (probably worth the price once in a while).

This will always be my favorite place to get breakfast. They have been so amazing to us since the first time weve been there. All the staff remembers us Everytime they see us were both exited to see each other. They always help so much with out little too, so friendly and such amazing service. I had lunch there with some friends and my pupsters. Seating on the patio had ample room for social distancing. Pups were welcomed and served water. The service was super friendly and food came out quickly. I ordered the soft shell crab sandwich and fries. It was the best wedge fries i had. So crispy and not greasy. Bacon jacked its prices much more than necessary during this pandemic, We did also reduce its portions I felt like I had half a breakfast at twice the price then it has been since it was opened I mean literally half is in literally half the hash browns with a 1/2 a piece of chicken fried steak. My moms expensive waffles which were nothing special was actually half a waffle cut into quarters so she in to quarters so she had 2 pieces of waffle which added up to half a waffle not 2 waffles or one waffle. Frankly $9 for 3 pieces of bacon is crazy.Then the juice 550 or $6 for a glass of fresqueezed Orange juice except they reduced the size who used to get a nice large glass now it was a Dixie cup size. And on top of that the new waiter didnt care about service one bit but we did learn that hes from El cerito. We asked for a waitression weve had before and she was good and trying her best. The manager came out and he gave us absolutely no reason to come back ever again he was checking on people but not listening to what anybody said but he was trying to hustle people.Yep weve been going to bacon since it started I dont know what happened but theres no need to go back.

This restaurant is so top notch - Tien and Katie and their family and staff do an amazing job, and I sincerely have never eaten a bad meal here. My family and I eat here at least 2x a month, often more. But the best part of their charm is their sincere love for their customers. First let me just say this is my first ever google review. However our experience was so awful I felt the urge to express what happened. My husband and I had wanted to try breakfast here for quite awhile. Unfortunately it was a major disappointment. The service was absolutely horrible. Extremely rude wait staff, we waited for 20+ minutes just for our drink orders to be taken. Another 40+ for our food to arrive. We basically sat for about an hour without being checked on, offered beverage refills etc. And shortly after our food finally arrived we were rudely told we needed to give up our table for another party that was waiting. Definitely one of the go-to breakfast spots in Novato. Their menu is quite large, with something for everyone. Eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, breakfast meat, frittatas (which are basically scrambles), and delicious homemade jams/preserves that they also have for sale. The fries come in a little metal basket that sits atop your plate.Every time Ive gone (which is maybe three or four times now), Ive gotten the Turkey Supreme. Applewood smoked bacon, roasted deli turkey, tomato, spring mix greens, garlic aioli - served on a fresh Torta roll. It doesnt disappoint. I think boyfriend gets a frittata, he loves breakfast. Once I asked a guy at the next table if the pancakes were worth it. He said yes and Holy Cow, he was right. I think the only thing lacking is the flavor of the fries; theyre kind of flavorless and bland. They just need some seasoning.Sidenote: When Bacon first opened a few years ago, they were doing breakfast/lunch in the morning, and a few days a week they were doing Vietnamese food in the evening. My mom and I always intended to try their Vietnamese, but alas, we never got the chance. After a few months, or maybe it was more like six, Bacon stopped doing evening Vietnamese. We came to Novato because it was half way from where my brother was staying in Sonoma Co. and our home in Vallejo. They were in town seeing the sights. I had seen Bacon on social media and thought it would be a great spot. We came there about 9:00 am on Saturday. The place was busy, but there were spots to sit, it got more crowded as the morning went on. It might be good to call ahead.The menu is all great breakfast and lunch fare, there are several types of eggs benedict (I had the Norwegian, my brother had the classic) as well as two eggs with breakfast meats and potatoes. All the bread was a ciabatta, and it was great. The Norwegian benedict was smoked salmon, a perfect poached egg, spinach, and tomato slices. I loved it. The other dishes were well liked too.The service was quick, and observant. They were watching to see if you needed anything. They were polite and informative as well. The seating is for 40 or so, and there is outside seating as well.I will be back with more friends to check the whole menu out. We are fans.

Coffee has free refills, but sodas are served in cans, so dont expect free refills.They also serve pho between 5-9 pm. They dont serve bacon with their meals. Only a few have bacon that come with them. Youd be better off going to Dennys or Sheris and youd save money.
