2023-11-04 16:04:44Was here a few months ago n enjoyed it enough to come back. The red curry thai snapper was sooo good. We couldnt stop eating it. The sashimi combo 2 had large slices of fish. I have been to other places and served slices half the size. Generous indeed. Check out my pics. The pot stickers were deep fried n crispy. The Red Dragon roll was my fav. Service was excellent. Our server was so nice n friendly. Our party of 3 agreed we would come back. Plenty of parking.

2023-08-07 03:03:20We used to go to the other branch regularly, but havent been in a while. We were in this part of town and stopped in for dinner. Cream cheese wontons.. nice to find on menu without crab, served with a sweet and sour sauce with a nice kick. Tamago sushi was typical. Pad see ew wasnt too spicy. We ordered with tofu which ha a peppery aftertaste. They have added a kitty robot that wanders around. Its cute.

2023-12-04 05:32:08I was here with a friend for dinner and I had ordered green curry with chicken and no eggplants and bamboo shoots. The first order that came in was with shrimp and eggplants or bamboo shoots. Clearly they didn’t get the order right! Then, they got the correct order, but it had a large shrimp skin inside it which I wasn’t aware of. It got stuck with the red bell peppers and it felt disgusting to eat it unknowingly. At the end, when I complained, no action was taken and the bill was completely incorrect. They had charged me for the shrimp and when I told them about it they still didn’t mention the correct amount as per their menu.Hence, please cross check the amount of each item with the menu. And the worst of all, I got a severe throat infection later that night and my friend got food poisoning from the soup she ate. We both are in pain and I’m never visiting or recommending this place to anyone again.

2022-12-15 23:04:21Good:Huge varietyGood quality sushiGenerous portionsGood serviceFull bar!Meh:Huge variety (like 15 pages on the menu)Friend ofine has been telling me about Bai Plu Thai & Sushi bar for the longest time now. Finally got a chance to try it out.I was a bit leary with the sushi because, in my experience, se sushi joints that dont specialize in sushi usually tend not to have the best quality fish. I was wrong on this count. This fish quality was good, with no fishy smell, so it passes the smell test and taste test. And also being a Thai restaurant that serves sushi, you never know what the Thai food is going to be like. Verdict: Good. We ended up ordering Pad Se Ew with beef ($16.99), Papaya salad ($14.99), Panang curry with chicken ($15.99), spicy eggplant & basil with chicken ($15.99). Oh, lets not forget about the Mango sticky rice ($14.99).All delicious and definitely flavors youd expect from a Thai restaurant.Service was attentive and quick. Although family friendly, not really built for strollers. But I would definitely come back on the near future.

2023-08-12 21:17:22Sorry it has taken awhile to write this review, I have been a customer for many years and live in the neighborhood. I always enjoy my experiences here at Bai Plu. The owner, the staff (Apple, Cherry, Yo, Ball, Jackie, Mariah, Kitchen Chefs, Sushi Chefs) are all friendly, professional, and respectful of their customers. They are so willing to tailor the food-menu to my crazy plant-based diet, and the food is always healthy and delicious for me. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I look forward to my future visits at Bai Plu.

2023-07-31 00:39:46Came here because of the positive reviews. Was seated pretty quickly. Had a few servers who were very persistent within the first 10 minutes but as time went on they came to our table less and less. Waited at least 15 min to flag someone down for the check. The food: sushi roll contained too much rice and lacked flavor, pad thai was very mediocre, chicken satay was very disappointing (very dry chicken with a terrible flavor). The only thing I someone enjoyed was their fried rice.

2023-08-18 21:04:59They used the cheapest most tasteless nori (sea weed wrap) for the hand roll. It was served last, instead of first. It was so bad I couldnt even chew through it without tugging at the nori. The duck soup broth was over powering, opaque dark brown and very salty. They didnt even bother to loosen the noodles from its knot so it could be evenly cooked. The Thai salad was underwhelming and basically vinegar with raw shredded veggies and a chuck of cabbage on top, strewn with stale whole peanuts and didnt look anything like the photo. Total bill: $41 excluding tip. The table waiter was helpful except for the strange delivery order of the dishes. His associates were obnoxious and kept talking in little groups not far from my table, often loudly, possibly because it was almost 3PM and I was the sole customer. I was placed at a small dark corner table even though the restaurant was near empty when I arrived instead of near the interesting sushi bar or the aquarium.
