2022-08-08 01:36:42Had been craving Korean BBQ for some time and decided to stop and try this place. We were asked to wait for 30 mins and felt we’d opt to eat at the bar grill station. It is frustrating that the wait staff never intodruced themselves and checked on us frequently. Sadly, the people that bussed the tables were very friendly and attentive than the servers. We order the garlic chicken and spicy octopus. Kinda disappointed that the octopus was very chewy and difficult to cut with the supplied utensils. The kimchi and accompanying dips were fine. The wife was disappointed that no fresh vegetables were offered to grill for those who prefer veggies and an alternative. I’m sorry this place won’t be on my to try list again.

2022-01-01 20:12:23When an unexpected trip to Dublin turns into stopping by and eating Korean BBQ for date night! This review has been sitting in my Drafts for quiet a bit of time. No less I have to say that the visit we had on 10/22/21 was great and we definitely be stopping by again when in the Area!We Ordered the Deluxe Combo for 3, Garlic Chicken & spicy pork belly. All the meat that we ordered and cooked was delicious. All the sides that were brought to the table were flavorful. My favorite was the cucumber kimchi, that I asked for thirds. We definitely will make our way back for another another Korean BBQ Night

2022-07-16 20:33:43The decor was really nice. Service was great. Food was disappointing. Bugogi taste ok. The sides were stale, not fresh, kimchi fried rice was just spicy not much kimchi flavor, rice was ok, the japchae was bland and noodles were too short.

2022-08-25 21:59:28The location of this restaurant is very good, near stores and other Asian destinations. As a KBBQ place, food is okay and the robot was cool. Menu choices are a little limited and no more unlimited.

2023-09-04 22:34:34Kind of disappointed. To start, the sign says Korean BBQ but the menu says Asian Fusion. So they seem kind of lost of what they are. The menu and food was meh, but pricing and portion size isn’t really great. Portion size is mainly for a party of 2-3. They have combo platters, but again, only for 2-3 size portions. So any party 4-6 and you decide to do the do the combo, expect it to be 140$. And for it to be “Korean BBQ” you get your bon chon, you are limited to just kimchi, peaches, celery and almonds as all you can eat. Any other sides would be purchased.Aside from that, service was okay. Just kind of irritated that we had told them that there was a broken dripper on our table, they had told us that “it’s okay, there’s nothing inside it” which why would it be on the table then or if it’s empty please give us a new one. But neither happened AND it was filled and dripping sauce in front of them.Overall, if you’re in a pinch, maybe head there. But if you want decent Korean BBQ I would suggest to find another place.

2023-08-19 02:12:05Friday rush hour, it was empty. I learned my lesson, should’ve turned around when I see the emptiness, the crowds don’t lie.We ordered the combo meat, some sides like kimchi pancakes, corn cheese and steamed eggs. Beef was the toughest I’ve ever had, I mean, how tough can it be when it’s brisket and sliced thin? Trust me, it’s hard to chew, even for young people like me. The japchae was soo watery and salty, the kimchi pancakes are dry, too thick and too much batter, not enough kimchi. The steamed egg was burnt at the bottom. To sum it up, I enjoyed nothing from this restaurant, worst Korean BBQ experience.Oh did I mention that I got a fly companion while I’m eating?

2022-05-08 22:56:42Update 5/8/2022: My son took my here for Mothers Day. It was busy, of course but since it was just the two of us, we sat at the bar. We ordered spicy popcorn chicken and the Classic BBQ. The staff were all so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Introduced my son to soju and Korean beer. He said he like it but dangerous because they were easy to drink lol. The Classic BBQ was the perfect amount of meat to grill for 2 people. I like the new presentation of the meat. The meat was perfectly marinated, and they also include 3 dipping sauces with the banchan. Will definitely continue to come to Bak Kung. Gamsa hamnida to the staff!Original review: Its my friends favorite KBBQ. Its good. Nice selection of the banchan. The garlic pork belly is really good but I also like to use the sauce for the other meats as well. They change out your grill pan frequently, which is good because then your meat doesnt taste burned. Service was slow the day I came even though it wasnt busy. I do like that they have a large carafe of lemon water on your table so youre not trying to get the servers all the time to refill your water glass. Pretty reasonable pricing for AYCE for lunch or dinner.

2018-10-13 18:32:05When I heard Bak Kung opened another restaurant in the bay area. My friends and I drove 45 mins just for this. And it totally worth it! The food tastes exactly on the point. And the service meets every of my expectations! Well done, for a newly opened one!

2021-07-06 04:15:22Bulgogi married the staple American fried and did not disappoint. Japchae is just ok but loved the added vegetable texture.Staff is very polite and nice.
