This place is fantastic! What a find! I saw the reviews and felt it was worth a try, boy is that an understatement! This place blew my mind! I had one asada taco and one double taco. It was a great combo. I could have been done, but the blueberry cinnamon roll sounded so good when my server described it that I had to try it. It was very good as well. I can’t wait to come back and bring friends!

Okay…. Brace yourself because this place is addictive! These tacos were amazing!!! I was visiting Sac from North Carolina for work and this little restaurant had been on my visit list for quite some time. I perused the menu before my visit thinking I would know exactly what to get. However the aromas once I entered this restaurant completely flipped my plans. I knew I had to try tacos even though the fajita salad sounded quite tasty. Upon suggestion from my amazing hostesses Megan and Sol (she was so friggin sweet/cool), I went with the Bambi Taco, and the Al Pastor. For a starter I had the Avo Verde Salsa with a nice chilled Hard Kombucha. Everything was soooooo good! The parm coated taco shells and pickled pineapples added a little extra treasure to an already very tasty meal! I will definitely be back again… and again… and again!

This was our first experience at Bambi Vegan Tacos. We were immediately greeted and seated by the very friendly staff. My fiancé had THE BAMBI and an AL PASTOR. He loved both tacos! I had a bite of the Bambi. It was delicious. I had THE BIG FAJITA SALAD 🥗 It was very good and had a lot of great elements, but I found the refried beans a bit salty for my tastes and there was a bit too much of what I believe may have been the red piperaid sauce. This is why I gave 4 stars for the food. We will return to try other items for sure! Bambi has a nice vibe and would be a fun place to go with a group too!

Delicious vegan taco shop! We ordered the oat milk horchata (sweet and creamy!), the chorizo queso bean dip (big serving and great flavor), two tacos (fresh tortillas), and the massive salad with more toppings that I can remember. I will definitely come back to try other items, including their rotating dessert and cocktails

Unreal!! I have tried a lot of vegan places and this place blew me away. Everything tasted so fresh, including the drinks. We got the Tamarindo margarita 10/10, highly recommended. The bartenders and servers were so friendly. It’s a small place and they don’t take reservations unless it’s six or more. We went on a Friday night but it wasn’t too bad of a wait.

Fantastic vegan tacos. Had the Bambi, Garden Chorizo, Baja, and Al Pastor tacos which were delicious. Very helpful and friendly service with a great ambience. Ask for the dessert of the day, the peach cobbler donut was top notch!

It was a nice place to have dinner. Cool place nice employees. We had tacos, potatoes and some chips. Food was tasty but I believe it’s too much oily. Lemonade was good. Overall it was a nice experience.

If you are dairy free, soy, and gluten free the options/tacos are not that tasty. Quite tasteless. Needs more seasoning and better textures. People that can cook- I doubt will be impressed. The restaurant needs to come up with more tasty options for this group. Not sure how just dairy free experience is. Also the customer service was very dry and not too inviting.

I’m always up for trying vegan joints. I ordered the garden chorizo taco while my boyfriend ordered the double deluxe as well as the patatas bravas. We also ordered the chorizo queso bean dip as an appetizer. I thought the food was a little on the heavy side and a little salty for my taste. I gave it a 5 star review because my boyfriend came in here with his mind set that he was going to hate the food since it was vegan but he ended up loving it so much he ordered the taco special (pastor style) after we were done. We would definitely come here again. Be prepared that the food here is a little pricey but with great service, good music, and a beautifully decorated space it makes sense to me that we pay a little more for the entire experience. Oh, you should definitely try the o-chata! I am lactose intolerant so the fact that they make an oat milk version of the classic horchata saved me from stomach aches for the rest of the day!

Well naturally lit ambience with humble servers and food so delicious that there is nothing like a wrong order . Good portion, great taste filled with fresh ingredients. We had a server named Sol who was patient with our questions and left us sweet cookies for our road trip .We ordered Fajitas under the salad section. Great food, great service, what more can I say. This was my first time here but it won’t be my last. I had originally intended on eating somewhere else but everything happens for a reason.I ordered the melty melt, Baja taco and garden chorizo taco first then I ordered the fajita salad and the chocolate cookie for dessert. Everything was really really good. The vibe in there is really cool too and the food was ready fast even though they were busy. Might be my new favorite spot in Sac.Edited: I went back and tried more food. This is my go to spot. It was super busy but it didn’t take too long to get seated.

Always consistent and delicious! I will never get tired of BVT. Atmosphere is chill and the staff are always laid back and on top of requests. This spot is an absolute must for the vegan/veg crowd and any other curious onlookers. Make sure you walk over next door to grab your vegan taco tattoo also! 😉

This restaurant is extremely kind to people in need and to their customers and has legitimately vegan food. I saw them give this homeless guy who said he needed calcium and protein some oat milk and beans the atmosphere seems upbeat, but I am alcohol-free so it isnt somewhere I would go except for takeout and I would love it even more if it were alcohol-free and maybe a little bit pricier? The owner is actually really nice and the one which gave the food!

When I’m a good noodle I treat myself to four tasty tasty tacos. The only reason I chew is bc if I didn’t I would hurt my insides. So I begin to digest my food as quickly as humanly possible. So many hot sauces to chose from, so I must use them all. A different sauce each bite. They have booze and play cartoons here but that’s only half as important in comparison to my tasty little treats!!!! I want to wear 4 disguises in one day just so I can eat 16 tacos and they be none the wiser ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The service was EXCELLENT! Really enjoyed our server (Carlos)! Very nice! Good background music, fun art to look at and the FOOD!! OMG!! The flavors were indescribably good! I had the fajita salad and I had different flavors in each bite. Just enough crunch to make it interesting. So GOOD! Parking on the street wasnt bad for a Saturday afternoon. I found this yummy vegan restaurant on Happy Cow. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 I plan to go back soon. That Melty Melt was everything. The staff was very friendly! It gets crowded. You may have to wait for a table, but its worth it.

Found this restaurant last night after I had a bad experience at another local vegan restaurant near by, I called in to make a order and was greeted very well I can’t recall the lady name that helped assist me but she was awesome she helped me navigate the menu very well I order a 2 deluxe Bambi taco which caught me by surprise the quality of the crunch the texture plus the different flavors was very fulfilling I have been a vegan for about 7 years now and Tacos has always been a favorite food of mines since I was a kid and along my vegan journey I never had the pleasure of finding a place such as this one I had to do a double check to google to see if it was a actual vegan restaurant because it tasted like a regular taco from a traditional Mexican restaurant. Upon arrival they shook my hand made me feel at home customer service was at a very high level which I greatly appreciate they didn’t care what color I was nor the amount of money I was spending they made me feel like I was a regular customer. I would have to say this is a top 2 vegan restaurant in Sacramento California by far I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone vegan or non vegan you want be disappointed

Had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and it was outstanding. I ordered the fajita salad and there were so many veggies. The flavor was wonderful and very filling (it includes 2 tortillas) . Also, we tried the Brekkie breakfast sandwich served on an English muffin with a yummy non alcoholic drink (cucumber lime). Both were tasty.The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, professional and got our order just right. I would definitely recommend to others and look forward to my next visit!

Ive been wanting to check this place out for the last few months and just havent been able to get out this way, so when I had a free afternoon I came, I saw, I ate. I was fairly pleased with the tacos (Bambi) and happy with the patatas bravas- they couldve been a little hotter/warmer, but tasty just the same. Service was decent and the vibe of the place was chill - granted it was 130pm on a random Wednesday afternoon. Looking forward to coming back.

I typed in vegan burritos near me as Ive done a few times in the past few weeks. Ive been having a taste for REAL vegan Mexican food and not put together options at a non-vegan place. Bambi Vegan Tacos popped up in my search for the first time. In previous searches I scrolled down past the first 5 or so results because they werent vegan restaurants and Bambi Vegan Tacos never showed up. I was surprised that this time it popped up in the first 3 results. I went there, got my food and came home. I honestly dont know how to correctly describe the flavors I was experiencing. Ive had delicious vegan foods that Ive loved because theyve tasted like other delicious meals, but this food from Bambi Vegan Tacos tasted like a beautiful collaboration of flavors that I cant recall ever being introduced to. I had gotten 4 different meals and each one had a different flavorful experience. Even the drink I ordered while waiting for my food to be made tasted like an unfamiliar blend of delicious flavors which I couldnt compare to any previous drinks. After enjoying the barrage of unique exciting flavors each different item provided, I knew that I would be sharing my experience in a review. I grabbed my phone and searched vegan burritos near me like before because I wasnt positive that I had the name right and Bambi Vegan Tacos didnt show up in the results. I had to scroll down for a bit until I found it. That was weird. Ill be back!!!

Hands down best vegan restaurant in the 916 area. The tacos here will absolutely blow your mind. The quality of the food is outstanding and I highly recommend a margarita and the chips and chorizo cheese dip. I cant wait to come back and try everything on the menu. Pictured is the melty melt with chorizo added which was extra, I would like to try it without the chorizo since it was the star of the show. The flavors are all there, and I was satisfied after.

I went there this weekend as I’ll be moving to the area & made it a point to try vegan places to frequent more once I’m there full time, this place hands down was my favorite. We have been here multiple times and always had delicious food and great service. However, tonight we were disappointed with our experience. When ordering a second round of tacos, we attempted to order a Bambi. We were informed they were out even though we were able to order the Double Deluxe, which has a Bambi in it. Not even a minute later the waiter, who we believe is the owner, was at the next table over telling them that he will get them Bambi tacos, but he is just telling everyone else they are out so they order more expensive tacos. We saw multiple other tables and take-out customers try to order them and be told they ran out. Even another waiter was confused as to how they could be out of the Bambi, but selling the Double Deluxe. Very disappointed!

First time here! Cool little restaurant with a relaxed vibe and bar area. It just opened in July so it’s only open a few days a week - for now... I purchased the double deluxe which was a cheesy goodness that hit “the spot”. Perfect for an appetizer or a snack. Meghan was very welcoming and friendly. I’m from the East coast but I will definitely visit again the next time I’m in town! Recommend.
