Oh. My. Gosh. When I tell you this is the best place I’ve ever eaten, I mean it. We got the lunch specials- Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Beef. The soup of the day was Chicken and Sweet corn. It’s just like chicken pot pie in soup form and it’s AWESOME. The orange chicken was a little spicy and crunchy. Don’t even get me started on the sauce and veggies in the beef dish. Either way. Would eat here every day if I could. Also ALL THAT FOOD was only $27.

Every dish we ordered was delicious. Mongolian beef, walnut prawns, veggie delight, chicken corn soup, and hot and sour soup. My favorite was the combination fried rice because they really put in the mixed meats unlike most places that only put a little. My only complaint is that the soup seemed a little small. Good service here and not too busy around 8pm as well.

My family and I visited Bamboo 30 minutes before they were set to close, and they still served us well. The food was delicious, served family style. We had kids of all ages, picky eaters, and allergies, and they accommodated it all. The sweet and sour chicken and chicken chow main is amazing. The kids loved the salt and pepper pork. Definitely recommend.

Visiting from SoCal and was brought to Bamboo Inn by my mom and brothers. Waitress was very friendly, served water and asked for order after a couple of minutes. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was excellent. Cant wait to come back down and eat there again.

In the Sacramento region, the best Chinese food is! I frequently place orders here. Also on the door dash is them. When a craving for Chicken Chop Suey struck while in town on business, I read the reviews and decided to try it. Fantastic restaurant with excellent food that is delivered quickly and is always courteous. So it must be nice. Excellent, I ordered the Peking Ribs to go. Definitely suggest Bamboo Inn.

I absolutely love this place, food tastes great, plenty of options to choose from but I never been to ANY restaurant that taxes like these guys. I added up my order and it came out to $65 and some change. They charged me $97. I order less food than the last time and it was roughly the same price.idk anyone charging $30in taxes. Once I discovered that I dont think I will be returning to this establishment.

Bamboo Inn has been in business at least a decade that I know of. Located at the corner of Laguna Blvd. and Bruceville Rd. I drove by many times but havent tried it until recently.I usually order 10-15 min in advance for pick up. I like their chicken wings, salt & pepper pork chop, chow mein, and Singapore rice noodles (pictured). The lunch special is a good deal. You get a main and 2 sides for $13. Ive dined in one time with family and it was nice and quiet. Service is quick! Its usually not too busy when I go during lunch hours.

For some reason, have never dined here.Had the kung pao chicken lunch special. Portions were very generous for the price. Entree came with soup, fried wonton, fried rice and chow mein. The kung pao chicken was very well cooked-- everything got and cooked to the same degree of doneness. My only complaint was that I would have liked more chile and more Szechuan pepper-- but thats just my preference.Attentive server. Nice understated atmosphere.

Fantastic spot to eat Chinese. The personnel is polite, the facilities are clean, and the cuisine is excellent. The cuisine is quite cheaply priced, and there is typically little wait. There are many options on the menu, so even picky people can find something they like. It tastes delicious, and I like ordering the Kung Pao Almond Chicken (Basically, just Spiced Up Almond chicken). Try the Wor Won Ton Soup, which is another fan favorite.

I’ve experienced how Elk Grove has changed in the past 22 years, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is the fact that Bamboo Inn is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Great selection and excellent, consistent quality in every dish I’ve ordered. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciate their tofu and vegetarian menu. The vegetarian Hot and Sour soup is top notch. The egg rolls are not the frozen kind that other restaurants get from Costco and reheat. I’ve seen the staff roll their egg rolls on site. Great lunch specials. Friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and get yourself some Bamboo Inn.

The food is decent. Taste better when eaten fresh on the spot. For some reason I dont like it reheated from this particular restaurant. The woman running the front is actually really rude, she was slamming things around because it was 9:01 and we were still packing our food up. She came back to the table and slammed the ticket and reciept down and said we close at 9 no thank u you or nothing. Also the soup the gave us has peas and carrots that were undercooked and our rice and sweet and sour chicken were cold in certain places so we had to have them remade. On a positive note the Chowmain and egg rolls were the best 👌 sorry for the long review, if you made it this far.. I guess give it a try if its local, dont drive for this.To the owner/server or cashier that was rude, be kind to people, the stress and tension caused by you ruined my dinner and caused me to be upset which in turn made my stomach upset.. all you had to do was say you guys were closing soon and we would have gladly picked up and left, we didnt know we were an inconvenience to you.

This is the BEST Chinese food in Elk Grove hands down. I am a Chinese food enthusiast and well as a hot and sour soup enthusiast. Ive had hot and sour soup from Chinese restaurants in 8 different states and 2 continents. And the soup (and food) from this restaraunt are tied for 1st place with the best Ive ever had. DO NOT make the mistake of not trying this place. The people are very friendly and welcoming. Which as you know if youve been to enough Chinese restaurants doesnt always happen. Either you get good food and poor service. Or you get good service and poor food. This place has EXCELLENT food and great service. You have to try it.

Very greasy and very unhealthy, first and last time ordering from this unsanitary place. When ordering at the register they had uncooked meat just sitting there uncover and raw. I dont think the people that goes to this place knows anything about real Chinese food theyre just eating whatever comes without even noticing unsanitary conditions the food has been through. I know they can feel it and smell it after the body has digested all the toxics that the unhealthy food produces in the body.

I was not pleased with the food. I have been eating at this restaurant for years. The last three times the food did not taste good. This last time 12/2020 was the last straw. The shrimp was soft and mushy. the mongolian beef, chicken chow mein wasn’t tasty either. The egg rolls were the only the only item that tasted okay. I will not patronize again . I wasted 52 dollars, and with Covid-19, I don’t have money to waste.
