2022-07-24 03:10:44Amazing food! We ordered the tomato with mushroom and cumin with beef. Both were so flavorful and delicious. My favorite was the tomato, it was tangy and sweet. The flavor worked really well with the mushrooms. Not only were the noodles tasty, but the owner was so friendly and explained the menu to us and helped us pick what we’d like based on our preferences. There is plenty of street parking near by and a nice patio area in the back where you can eat. I can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu!

2021-12-31 16:44:27Partnered with my relentless insomnia is the constant scrounging for food videos. Its only been recently that I’ve been able to actually look through all these trendy restaurants in California and be able to bookmark them down to truly satisfy my cravings. Which goes into how we ended up driving all the way down to Culver city for Bang Bang Noodles, buzzfeed - worth it. The noodle bowl on their recent sauce video caught my husbands attention almost immediately. Was it the slapping effects of the noodles? Was it the way the chili oil drizzled over the fat wide noodles? Who knows, but it captivated us enough to make the hour long traffic ride over and we were promptly disappointed.Szechuan Garlic Noodles - ($18) - Just an FYI, the noodles alone are $15, if you were to add any proteins, which they supposedly added in the video it’s an extra charge. And it was like 3 extra pieces of thinly sliced beef. Noodle texture was great, fresh, bouncy and held onto the flavor very well. Noodles alone I would have given a raving review, but we know we aren’t here for just the noodles. The noodles were coated in an EXTREMELY salty sauce. We werent even able to taste any garlic flavors. By the time we reached the bottom of the bowl, a pool of oil was sitting on the bottom with the rest of the garnishes that were deemed basically inedible from being doused in a hellfire of salt and oil.So, in summary; would not recommend. Preaching to avoid.

2022-11-12 14:58:34Food was great. Portions seemed small for the price but it was very filling. They have vegan options. There is only outdoor seating and no heaters. They have their own parking lot which is very convenient

2022-07-24 03:04:34Super flavorful hand pulled noodles. The owner was really nice and took his time to explain all the dishes on the menu. We got the Xian tomato and the Spicy cumin, both of which were excellent. I think the tomato one is better for eaters less experienced in traditional Chinese cuisine.

2021-11-29 06:19:50Ordered the dry garlic Szechuan and tingly cumin with the braised beef. The Szechuan is money! It’s a little spicy but so full of flavor that the tingliness is worth it. Even if you are a spice weakling like me it’s mild enough that most will enjoy. Highly recommend. Plus who doesn’t like to see noodles banged out - dinner and a show!

2021-08-07 15:31:23My friends brought me here since they had this before. The noodles were banging.Xian Tomato Soup Noodle: “An authentic Biang Biang Noodle that brings Fresh Flavors from Xian as a soup (veggie base) noodle. We utilized fresh stewed tomatoes, crisp bok choy, seasoned ground soy, chives, house chili oil and choice of Protein.” I ordered this one with the braised beef shank as my protein. The stewed tomato added such a savory taste to the veggie base soup; The noodle soaked up the flavor so well. I should’ve order another one to go so that I could have the noodle absorb the soup overnight to try. The braised beef shank was so tender. My friend got the Tingling Cumin Noodle Soup: “A Chef favorite that holds Northern Chinese Flavors. This is the perfect bowl of our famous handmade Biang Biang Noodles in a tingling cumin soup. This made to order dish is topped with house chili oil, fresh cabbage, green onions and cilantro.” I tasted a small bite of the dish, flavorful and delicious.I love the soup noodle version. My friends tried the dry version and they prefer the soup version. You HAVE to try this place if you are in LA.

2023-01-06 19:52:21Was in the mood of some pulled noodles and this hit the spot. With a little theatrical flare, you can see the noodles being hand made, they are fresh the texture was great. Good bounce, not too chewy but enough bite to it. I came with a friend and we got lamb and beef. They use a numbing type of spice here and it was the perfect amount, not overwhelming. Very fragrant from the spices used.But... the real sleeper here is the cucumber salad. That thing is crazy good. So was the beef roll, typically not a fan of them but this one was worth it. The taste here is authentic, not watered down. So many flavors.

2022-09-29 18:15:17We were craving hand-pulled Chinese noodles after having a bunch of authentic ones in the Bay Area a few weeks ago so we found this spot and were excited to try it.The noodles were thick, chewy, and perfect. We got the Szechwan noodles and the cumin noodles, both with lamb, and the flavor of both was delicious. We also got the cucumbers salad and beef roll andagain, both exceeded expectations. In terms of pricing, yes, its on the higher side for Chinese noodles but if you compare it to other places of similar quality in LA, regardless of cuisine, its very appropriately priced.Highly recommend!
