Best eaten there! You can also order ahead of time since these are made fresh with every order! The fish sauce is so delicious and the veggies are always fresh. I’ve been ordering from them since the pandemic.So happy that they actually have a store now!Customer service is always awesome too!Decor is Super cute! It feels like you’re eating in Vietnam with the mini tables and chairs! There’s indoor and outdoor seating.

I’m in love with these banh Khot. They are the cutest, crispiest, and flavor fullest I’ve ever had!!! Actually these were my first experience. I’ve only had the soft ones made at home. Also came with lettuce and so much herbs which I love. What a wonderful surprise!! Definitely highly recommend! ❤️

They have been in business for three years during the pandemic and this is their first brick and mortar early this year. Banh Khot and egg rolls are all that they sell.Banh Khot is best described as Vietnamese savory pancake. Cooked over medium heat in a skillet similar to the Danish aebleskiver or Japanese Takoyaki in little wells. The batter’s main ingredients are rice flour, coconut cream, mung bean and corn starch which makes the center rich and creamy not to confused with it being glutinous because it’s not. The corn starch gives it the pancake fluff texture and skillet produces the crispy edges with the shrimp on top.Banh Khot lady specializes in these and it tastes just like how I remember growing up. What she does differently was the added minced pork. We placed the order on line for the party tray with 30 banh khot and 20 pork shrimp egg rolls as take out. You’re given time slots to pick up. If you don’t see the time you want then that means, they are filling an order already. It came with a large bag of lettuce, pickled veggies and fish sauce to wrap and dip.When we got home, we air fried it for a few minutes before serving. These little delicacies are so yummy and addicting. I had a total of 10 and could totally eat more.If you dine in, there are two miniature tables inside and two outside. Similar to street dining in Vietnam.

First time here, came for the hype.If youve ever had banh xeo, it is pretty much mini banh xeo, where are Vietnamese crepes, pan fried with meat and/or seafood, paired with fresh herbs, veggies and Nuoc mam which is a sweet and sour fish sauce for dipping.We ordered the 30 khot and 20 eggrolls for $80ish.Overall, the banh khot was fresh and crispy, filled with pork and shrimp. However, it was slightly greasy and for the price, WAY overpriced. For 5 piece, its roughly $10 or $2 per piece. Or for bigger orders, it comes to roughly $1.60 per piece.The fish dipping sauce was too sweet and salty, could use some more acid.The fresh herbs, lettuce and pickled vegetables helped to cut the greasiness and sweetness with some freshness and acid.The egrolls were nothing to rave about. Pork, taro, and shrimp, minimally stuffed and not too much flavor.It was nice to try and to see what the hype was about.Will not be coming back, especially for the price.If you are interested in trying, call and order ahead, as they are busy.I called at 2pm and they were not taking orders til 3pm and it would not be ready till 345pm.

Saw this on an IG feed and always wanted to try it. Came in ordered a to go combo of egg rolls and some banh khot! Waited a little for the food to be ready but was given a free drink to compensate the waiting. Came home to eat it and it was delicious 😋 will probably be back cause it taste so good 👍Recommend calling before and ordering take out to minimize waiting :)

Believe the hype. I ordered the 20/10 combo and two of us couldn’t even finish. The food tasted absolutely amazing. I’m supper happy I had business in the area and could give them a try.They have a couple tables inside and a couple outside. They are low sitting tables and stools. Not handicapped friendly, it was difficult for myself to get down and to get up. Other than that, parking fills up fast even at lunch time. I didn’t ask to use the bathroom, but it didn’t look like they had one. Simple menu and all drinks are bottled or canned. Not good for large groups, best to order for pickup/takeout ahead of time.

Phenomenal! We’ve tried banh khot for the first time & they were more delicious than expected. The outer edges were crispy and the inside was warm & soft. There was just the right amount of meat & shrimp, coconut richness & turmeric flavors to make the banh khot more special. The dipping sauce wasn’t overly sweet and complement the salad-herbs & banh khot wrap perfectly. The customer care was warm & inviting. Quang, the manager, was very attentive, friendly & helpful. He sincerely care for customers & is passionate about the food. He made us feel as if we were eating at 5 stars restaurant! The food presentation was appetizing. Everything was clean & sanitary. We plan to be regular patrons . Highly recommend to everyone!

This little shop is a hidden gem in Westminster that every food lover should visit. We had heard that the Banh Khot Lady just opened this little location a few weeks ago to continue the journey to share their Banh Khot to more customers so we had to make it out to try. Banh khot is a Vietnamese street food that consists of small, round, and crispy crepes filled with seafood such as shrimp, squid, or mussels. Banh Khot Ladys version is particularly outstanding, with a perfectly balanced batter-to-filling ratio and crispy texture that will leave you craving more.This is pretty much a take-out concept and theyre working on adding some tables and chairs, but its a tiny spot. Best to just plan to take it home to enjoy with your friends and family. The portion sizes are generous, so you can share dishes with friends or take home leftovers. Owners are super nice and this is one of the few places in Orange County where you can get delicious and amazing Banh Khot. These bánh khot are delicious! The texture is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a hint of coconut aftertaste that I love. The box comes with plenty of vegetables to make your own wrap, and the dipping sauce is flavorful and tangy with a light sweetness. The pickle veggies are also crunchy and add a great touch. Overall, its a great box of Vietnamese traditional goodness.

Came in and were warned of the wait time so we placed an order for 16 banh khot and 4 spring rolls. The gentleman working the front was very helpful in explaining the wait and how ordering works and that theyre very flexible with mix and match.Came back after the time and the food was ready for us. We decided to eat there; there isnt much seating (be warned - if youre tall itll be a knee to ears scenario) but it works. The food itself is stellar - consistent textures across every one of the banh khot and spring rolls. Really good, simple flavors.

The Bánh Khot was nicely displayed in its pizza box for easy transport and definitely fun to share with friends. The sauce and pickled veggies definitely paired well with every bite. Unfortunately there wasnt enough lettuce! I needed to bring out my own supply of lettuce to finish off all the Bánh Khot. Close to having the perfect portion but if youre picking up, you might need to also pick up some extra lettuce. Other than that, order ahead and bring it to your next party.

Banh khot with a decent amount of greens. Love that they make their own nuoc mam. The attention to details is what makes it a package. For the famished I suggest 10 pieces but for lunch 5 would be sufficient. Wrap it with the greens to make it healthy. Egg rolls are worth a shot too I enjoyed it, even with the crispy shrimp tail.

Both the banh khot and egg rolls are so good and very shareable. It’s just a hole in the wall type of place and good for takeout, limited seating outside with several homeless people hanging out. Make the drive and pick up if you’re near Westminster.

I stumbled onto this restaurant on social media and decided to try them out. It was about an hour wait, but it was 100% worth it! The Banh Khot was delicious with its turmeric crust and mix of meat and seafood. The egg rolls we had were crispy and delicious and they even gave us 2 more egg rolls for free! The owners were so down to earth and talked to us all throughout the time we stayed there. This place is definitely all about family and spreading the message of community, which is very commendable. Ill definitely be coming back here for their food and lively conversation!

This husband and wife family business is serving up traditional Vietnamese savory pancakes. Even their tables will remind you of eating on the streets of Vietnam.Their banh knots are made from rice flour, cornstarch, turmeric, coconut milk which makes the outside is super crispy and creamy on the inside. Heard great things about Banh Khot Lady on Instagram and Tiktok so we had to try it. After watching one of the videos, we were craving bad and decided to spontaneously drive down from LA to try their banh khot on a late Tuesday afternoon. The storefront is small with minimal seating and no public restrooms. The cashier dude is so cool, genuine, & happy. Since it was our first time here, he told us what they specialized in and checked in with us on how the food tasted after our meal. He also grabbed us bowls, napkins, & utensils even though it was a self-serving station set-up. I noticed him doing the same for other guests and just provided amazing customer service.Now for the food. The price is a bit steep but the banh khot is worth it!!! We got the 20 piece banh khot which was $34 and the perfect for two hungry people. The banh khot was thick and super crispy. They have a good amount of filling. They gave the right amount of veggies too. Surprisingly the daikon radish they provided went really well with the banh khot. The nuoc mam was so good we bought a bowl ($7) to take home. It has a lot more substance in it like green onions than other nuoc mam.We checked into Yelp for a free rocket shrimp egg roll which was nothing compared to the banh khot. They nailed the frying part but I thought the filling was a bit too soft/mushy. It also tasted better with Sriracha than the nuoc mam which gives it extra flavor.

Quang was the sweetest and coolest guy ever! He made very delicious mint lychee lemonade and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I need for my first time being there. The fish sauce was so different than any fish sauce I have ever had; it was sweet and savory! The mini egg rolls were so yummy and mini tables were so cute.

Sunday 9/24/23 Dinner at Banh Khot Lady in Westminster with my cousin. Trying out this popular Vietnamese specialty (Banh knot & egg rolls) It’s so delicious! Both Banh khot and egg rolls are crispy on the outside and savory on the inside inside.It’s a very very small restaurant with tiny tables and chairs which remind me of many restaurants in Vietnam. Only one cashier (Quang) working and taking orders with majority of the customers ordering to go. Quang was friendly, attentive, hard working, and super nice.I recommend trying this restaurant although be ready to take it to go as not enough and very tiny chairs (step stool) and getting up from a low rider’s position may be an issue for many of us.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast

Best Banh Khot there is! So crispy on the outside, so soft on the inside. Amazingly fresh (even better than most dining restaurants!). The quality of the fresh vegetables, herbs, and pickles are as if you went to the market yourself to pick them out. Theyre also super generous with the veggies and herbs that the ratio is perfect when you roll those tasty BKs into their little blankets. The sauce isnt your typical fish sauce either! Its thicker and more flavorful so it coats those babies perfectly.Their packaging is amazing as theyre stacked neatly into some heavy duty boxes. Beautiful presentation. Must order by the 100s!!!

I swung by to try their quickie box after seeing all the buzz on social media. They didnt disappoint! The banh khot and eggrolls are beautifully displayed in a box and offer the perfect bite. I could eat a million of them! Would definitely order again for picnics, potlucks or other gatherings since I think you get more bang for your buck with bigger orders. The staff is friendly as well.

I thought it was gonna be those overhyped things from insta but holy moly. Good, very very good food. Small place but definitely worth the wait and pre-order when you can!! Got the small combo just to try but now wished for a bigger order. Recommend this place, the people who works there are awesome and nice. Yes!!!
