The price is decent here for the portions, service was okay, bit slower side, and the atmosphere was dark. No seating here, more grab and go type place. The pastry is dry and not that good. There plenty of free parking though.

Great deal for Banh Mi- Vietnamese sandwich! Buy two get one free. Each costs $3. Many varieties of filling with French baguette bread.I love their BBQ port fillings with pickle carrot and chili. Their beef sandwich is awesome too. This tasted like the ones I get on the street of Hanoi.Besides Banh Mi, this restaurant also offers Banh Cuon( rice noodle with mushroom and minced pork filling), fried dough, pork buns, fried chicken with rice, fried rice, and great desserts.You can also eat in this outfit as they have a few tables for dine in but with no servers. This place tends to packed with people but the line usually move very fast.

When the cashier give you a change, please check before you leave. I had a mistake when the cashier give me back the change. I didnt check it is correct. because I only have $20 in my purse. I bought 2 bread only $3. and support to give me back $17. but when I go to get my bread and come back I want to buy the meat loaf and the meat loaf was $7.67 and pull out the change that she give only a minutes ago that was only $12. one $10 and two $1. and I told her she said she gave me $17. that was not true. because I find all my purse only $12 in there. dont have any more money. I know $5 isnt much but how the girl can cheat the customer. with this store have to be very careful. the cashier talk to other people and didnt care about the customer

Good service, but the restaurant and parking lot is always crowded and packed there. Also there were sometimes homeless people around there too as well. Like this one guy (wearing a blanket & hood) always kept sitting outside next to the tree & newspaper stand everyday mostly every noon, like afternoon (sometimes every mornings & evenings as well). Managers & employees never really do anything to him at all.

This place alway make fresh food, thr banh mi sandwiches is good...my family favorite is pork belly sandwiches and 3 combo meat sandwiches too...their dessert is not too sweet and other food is also good taste... They have different varieties of food already make and can take out too....I highly recommend it and if you feeling lazy to cook and just come buy the food for take out...The staff and service is good too...I never have issues with any of the worker or cashier too...my star give this is *5* plus ➕ on it...Keep in peace and enjoy good taste food.

Few weeks ago, I ordered a Rau-má drink from Cúc, a young small Vietnamese girl served me a plastic cup full of ice and just a little content in the drink. After two sips the Rau-má contents is gone and left with 12 Oz. cup with ice, she cheat! You need to check before pay, eventhough I asked for less ice! I dont know she understand.Update: Last week I bought curry to get the content spilled, rendered napkin & utensils unusable. This establishment was irresponsible in regards to the packaging. Soon they collected your money then not their problem anymore.

The food were good. The cashier ladies in the morning shift were very rude. They yelled at me for asking to buy dessert. Manager or owner needs to tell this two ladies. This is not the first time either. They over charged me many times. Never say sorry. I really need a business bureau to take a look into this business. My husband stepped in n said please do not yell at my wife. She is a customer and she was just asking you to give her dessert that was behind you,which was ready, just needed a lid. Unacceptable manner. I would like to talk to a manager but they kept saying call back tomorrow. This behavior and over charging customers has to stop.

This review is for Banh mi & Che Cali by 888 restaurants. Super rude and unprofessional customer service. I came here early Saturday 0ct, October 23 around 7 mornings for my banh gio and some other food. The lady, who was in charge of the cashier, was really rude. For example, I asked if I can get the receipt after, she said if you dont pay first how can I give you back the receipt. I did not see the pen to sign, she told me, it is right in front of me, didnt you see? She was not happy and frustrated. Even though she had only one customer before me, the place was not busy at that time. That man, who was in front of me, asked her a question and her answer was in an unacceptable tone. In my opinion, if you are not happy with the place then leave. She works here at the same time every time I come for my food. Manager please read this ( if she is your relative or not -do something) and make some improvements to customer service. This is not only a one-time thing because it happens every time with this attitude. People bring the business to you with this pandemic.

I ordered a #5 (BBQ pork) and #11 (BBQ beef). The beef had the texture of a sausage and the sauce was sweet. I enjoyed it. But the BBQ pork my gf had was not very pleasant. She couldnt eat it past one bite and once I tried it, I felt the same. I believe its the sauce they use for that particular sandwich. We liked the beef but the sauce with pork wasnt very good.

I live, literally, next door to this establishment. This is the place I go to for a quick meal and snacks. I am here to let everyone know that the people who works there are honest people. On 10-24, I was there for a quick meal in the evening When I left, I forgot my little black purse (4x5). I didnt even realize it.Four hours later, my daughter called my work place to let me know that I have forgotten my purse at Banh Mi Cali and they came to return it to me. I am very thankful to the person who returned my purse. I had cash $$ in plain sight, but nothing was missing.Thank you. Thank you.

They have good food with good price but they cheat very big on the drink. I ordered large drink and it came with full cup of ice!!! I went back and tell them its not right. It has less than half cup of the drink with full cup of ice. They said no way, it only has easy ice in it and if I dont want ice they can take out the ice for me. It came out only 1/3 of cup. This place has the best banh mi and showing rolls in town (and then some). The bread, rice paper, and everything else is always made fresh! And the process are unbeatable. For $20, I can feed my entire family or have enough food for a while day. I will go here over Lees any day.

This place is a widely know chain of Vietnamese delicacies. For a fact that so manu people come and go at this pit stop, the food people usually buys gets sold out in a jiffy. I wanted a vegetarian noodle express, but guess what, first come first serve. I did not get what I wanted (probably because I was there at 7:00 p.m.) however, I did obtain a substitute option for dinner. Above all, this place could be great, but it is not of the utmost apex of the chains of food. Language barrier is also into play.

You can a full meal well under $5 and even a drink maybe 6 or 7 max. I miss that they no longer full Pho... actually their hot entrée is only serve in smaller portion but also cheaper. Everything is now takeout only.Their main attraction is their Banh Mi (Vietnemese Sandwitch), they made in daily and in general is good if you get them in the morning. I would avoid them in later of the day which most likely been seated for a while. That same goes to most of the package food. Their drink and dessert is noticeable weaker than most competitor. They likes to put a lot of ice in the drinks and dessert which I dont like.This is cash only, I dont found a reason for me to go Subway. This is far cheaper and you get some nice spring roll too for the same or less than a typical Subway Sandwich. Only issue they dont have it in downtown or business location, which can be far more handy. Except the one in Pasadena, but offer far less choices..
