Cash only, take-out spot. I love having banh mi or goi cuon when I head to the airport, especially from this shop since it’s on the way south.I got the tofu banh mi ($7) and my friend got the combination ($8), and we ordered 2 iced coffees as well ($5 each). their coffee is strong and the banh mi tasted great. Good crunch, real baguette, well seasoned protein, and not so much sauce so the bread didnt get too soggy from the commute. It’s a little pricier than Saigon Sandwich, but I think it’s 100% worth it — especially to support a small, local business.

Fresh ingredients, fresh bread. Honestly fair price and good quality, solid Banh Mi.We ordered the grilled pork, tofu, and combination, all were delicious!Cash only, so make sure you have a way to pay. They also sell drinks, snacks, and nem chua (Vietnamese cured pork).Place was small but very clean.

The Xi Muoi was a very unique try! My partner didnt like it tho hahaWe got a Combination Pork, Five Spiced Chicken, and Grilled Pork. They were all good. The bread was really hard to me. I also wish there were more pickled daikon for a normal portion.

Great little spot for Banh Mi Sandwiches. Call ahead so you don’t have to wait. Cash only. My fav is the 5 spice chicken. Bread is crunchy. Not really a place to dine-in. We love to get it before going to the airport!

I enjoy the Combination Pork (original) Banh Mi! Theyre fast and always have my orders ready prior to my arrival. You do need cash though. Its worth it! I highly recommend it!

Rain or shine. Good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner or simply as a snack. Just no Vietnamese iced coffee after 3pm! Otherwise Ill be wired and cant sleep until 3am! Banh Mi House only does one thing and they do it well. Perfect amount of meat, vegetables on a nice roll.

Best banh mi in the area! Quick service, cash only, and one can call ahead for pickup. No indoor seating really besides the two high stools in front but a great lil place for takeout for lunch or a park picnic.I love the crunch of their delicious bread, the packed flavorful sandwich of veggies & meat. Totally worth getting. They have combination pork, five spice chicken, meatball or tofu for a vegetarian option. Love grabbing drinks, chips, snacks here too. They also have Thai coffee available.

Stopped in to get a banh mi to take on the plane. I chose pork. It was excellent! Quality meat, perfectly prepared. I let them know I was taking the plane and they recommended not to toast it, cut it in half, and double-wrapped it, with a rubber band. Great service! It was also very clean inside. Doorway is narrow for those who need handicap accessible.

Not the most amazing there ever was, but given the dearth of solid, affordable banh mi places in the city, this is up there. Got the grilled pork. Bread tasted fresh, crunchy, and chewy. Meat well seasoned. Thai iced tea was standard which meant it was delicious!

I was craving a banh mi and saw how cheap this place was and decided to give it a try. They had high reviews and looked very clean. I called in three combination pork sandwiches. The sandwiches were ready when I got there and was excited to bring them home to eat. There is little parking and it is a bit difficult to drive here, so be wary of that when coming. Inside, they also sold some drinks on the side. I thought the bread was toasted perfectly. I kinda wish the sandwich was bigger since they did up the prices quite a bit from the images posted. However, I would definitely come back again as the sandwiches tasted great and had fresh ingredients.

Sandwich was very satisfying and fresh. I was on a bike, so it was hard for me to get into the little shop. The lady at the cash register was very accommodating and ran my sandwich out to me with a smile.

Excellent! One of the best Bahn Mi Sandi Ive had in the city. Crusty crunchy French bread, cold cuts, paté spread, pickled carrots, fresh cilantro and some tasty spices. Small place with a few sunny seats along the window.

DANG! SUPER yummy meatball sandwich! FRESH, FULL flavor, moist flavorful meatballs, fresh veggies and greens, crispy chewy roll... A MUST STOP... Parking is a a lil tricky but several buses stop near by, 8, 9, 9R, 54...Very nice staff. Very clean restaurant. Small seating area with window views. Sandwiches are SUPER reasonable priced!

Hours online state 7am opening. I arrived at 7:45am and wait until 8:15am - it still wasnt open. Im critical of businesses whose owners arent responsible. You should be in your business before opening and setting up. If you were undoing chains and setting up at the time you state that youre ready, this means the customer has to wait for their order to be made in addition for you having to set up shop. Thats irresponsible.

We ordered the combination pork sandwich. It was delicious and perfectly toasted. We really enjoyed the fresh and crisp vegetables in our sandwich as well. The items on their menu are definitely a great value and you can usually find parking within a block of the restaurant. This is the go to place for Banh Mi.

This is an awesome place. Ive been coming here regularly the last couple months since I started working nearby. They run a tight ship. Small menu, delicious food. Its very organized and its amazing what they have done with such a small place. Know that its cash only, but All of this keeps the costs down of the food and makes this place incredibly economical while still being really tasty. Im no expert on Vietnamese sandwiches, no idea how authentic, but I know good fresh food when I taste it and they hit all the right notes here. Excellent Thai Tea as well.

I regret that I didnt find this place sooner. I had a tofu banh mi today and it was so good. Crunchy, airy bread, warm tofu in a sauce that nicely coated the bread and delicious veggies. Everything is in great proportions and it was satisfying. I bought one for a coworker and she also commented on how great their rolls are. I purchased two sandwiches and a bag of chips for $10.00.The staff are friendly and service was quick. Ill definitely be back to this great spot.

Real French bread. 5.00 average price. Not the cheapest (Saigon Sandwich is 4.00, the one in Oakland China Town is 3.75!) But pretty good! And $5 is not a horrible price for a meal. Right? Actually pretty damn Delicious. We got a pork and Pate one for 5:50 and a five spice chicken for $5. I think the tofu one is 475. So for the Portola with all the Chinese restaurants and Vietnamese as well this is about as good as it gets. Most of the Vietnamese restaurants there are not very good.

Small little hole in the wall, serves tasty Vietnamese sandwiches. Variety of drinks to go with your combo sandwich. Two barstools if you want to stay and eat. Otherwise there is some waiting chairs. The line moves fairly quick and the wait is minimal. Wish they would accept plastic but only accepts paper. Menu is small, but thats how they can make your sandwiches quick.
