Authentic, with great service! A satisfied experience. We did the non-bbq style. Great culinary skills and great ingredients. Particularly, fried chicken is spectacular, with crispy skin and internal explosive juice. Buckwheat noodle is made very well, very refreshing. Galbi is great. Pancake quite good. Bossam is quite good.

Weve been coming to this location since it was known as Ohgane. One of the better authentic Korean restaurants in the Dublin area. We love the food and the staff are always so hospitable. My son has recently fallen in love with KFC and while Vons Fried Chicken is a franchise, this location has the best version. The batter is so light, crispy and the flavors are so good. On this trip my son ordered the spicy crunchy drumsticks and I ordered wings with honey butter and kimchi fried rice. Also definitely come and try their bbq menu!

Found this restaurant on our way from being out of town. I’m glad we decided to eat here. Everything was delicious and customer service was awesome!! We were seated right away. You can choose to order your food or cook yourself. We decided to order because we were too hungry to be cooking lol. The galbee was very flavorful!! Very good portion for the price. The kimchi rice was nice and fluffy rice. Oooooo the fried chicken wings were delicious… crispy, not too much batter and had the right amount of spice. Definitely want to try the other flavors they had for the chicken wings. They have a good amount of sides which they are willing to refill whenever you want more. Customer service was an A plus. Two people working the tables came by often to make sure we had what we needed and refilled our sides with no hesitation.I definitely would come back and 100 percent recommend this place.

Nice restaurant but too much smoke during cooking. Ventilation didn’t work well. Smoke kept going to friends’ eyes & face. Staff asked us to leave in order to clean the table in 15min after we finished meals while they have lots of empty tables.

Came in at 8pm. Ordered the $99 beef bbq to be grilled at the table. I dont have a solid account on the food because some of our dishes never came out. We only got banchan, rice, and meat. They forgot our steamed egg and soup. I had to remind her about the soup, which she had to package it to go, but we never recieved steam egg. Im not sure if our food was suppose to come with lettuce, garlic, and peppers but I saw it on the other tables that were BBQing. Even though the servers were nice, overall service was poor.

We come here usually for late lunch and order either the soups, stews or the hot stone bowl (dolsot) bibimbap (rice with protein of your choice, veggies, pickled veggies and egg in an very hot stone bowl). Hardly anyone else is ever there. Quiet. Calm. Its like having your own private restaurant and we usually get attentive attention from the wait staff.What we like about Banseok Jeong is how generous they are with their banchan (small plate appetizers) in terms of variety and quality than many other Korean restaurants. For two, they will serve 12 sides and we always ask for a second round for everything.I personally ask if they have any dried jerky fish every time I go. Sometimes I get, sometimes I dont.At the end of the meal, they serve a refreshing chilled cinnamon soup. Its like tastes like chewing Big Red gum. Cleanses your palate and breath from all that kimchee and garlic!The only con is there is only one womens and mens restrooms. So if this place gets busy, there will be a line.In the womens restroom, there is a diaper changing table.Plenty of parking spaces in the Shamrock Village Shopping Center. There is also a private party room and they have a self serve Korean popiscle and frozen treats for purchase.

Overall the food was good but it’s not all you can eat me and my friends Visited for dinner we ate we paid we even gave an Optional Tip for their service the Waitress then complained about it and wouldn’t let or my friends leave unit we paid more money we gave her what she had she told us this isn’t Korea it’s America and that if we were to eat here then we have to tip even if we take out…. My family and friends have been coming here for years. We were nervous our first time there but felt welcome and appreciated as soon as we arrived. I have always gotten the best customer service here and amazing food. We are willing to take the hour drive just to have their Korean BBQ! I love their new to go side dishes they are doing. Highly recommend!!!

Really great Korean food. Id recommend trying Bulgogi, Bibimap, Kimchi Pancake and Japche. Also, ask your server and theyll provide some excellent selections, too. Along with your meal, youll get a selection of small dishes of banchan like kimchi, radishes, and other delectable assortments. And youll end your meal with a refreshing cinnamon drink. Worth a visit if youre in the area.

Great service, usual korean bbq offerings. We (two adults, one toddler) were asked if we wanted a table with a grill, YES! We came for the $26.95 all-u-can-eat barbecue meal. Hot tea served immediately for the adults, water for my girl, and an oval plate with a fork and short spoon for her (adults already had chopsticks and long spoon). We were also given the fried sweet potato appetizer, which i could give my girl immediately. We started with ribeye steak and bulgolgi. Ribeye was tough, but the bulgolgi was tender and sweet, so i could give it to my daughter too. Our lunch included soup, rice, salad, and the usual appetizer spread. Next we had pork belly and brisket. Pork belly was tasty, but the brisket needed help (soy paste, oil, salt). Finally, we asked for two more plates, one bulgolgi and one baby octopus.. i would skip the baby octopus next time, not my thing :). So i dont know what the bad rap is about, the ladies were quite attentive (turning down our grill temp when they smelled smoke, haha), we asked for more tea twice, and our cups were promptly filled, we asked for extra broccoli appetizer, and it was provided. We will come back again, so we dont have to drive to Oakland for Gogi time or down to San Jose.

Did not have a good experience. Came in for the Korean fried chicken, and the fried chicken they now serve is no longer Korean fried chicken. Its basically just fried wings with a sweet and spicy sauce. The service was absolutely awful. It took a server at least 15-20 min to get us glasses for the warm tap water that was in a bottle on the table. Asking for ice and youd think you were asking for the till. Any time asking a server for something it seemed like we were a complete inconvenience.My recommendation is to spend your money elsewhere. It was definitely not worth the price that we paid.

This is not a buffet / eat all you can restaurant; you order ala carte from a menu. Its a fine Korean BBQ place. Quick service and attentive staff. Reserve your table ahead of time. Portions are not so generous. Im not sure if they weigh the meat or just base it off the size of the guests. Refuse the table near the entrance and by the window during winter time. Its the coldest part of the restaurant and quite uncomfortable even with the portable heater on the side of the table.

Went there for dinner and had a great experience. Ordered 2 tofu dishes and 2 beef dishes to be grilled at the table. Everything tasted great including the side dishes. Service was also very good. I would go again and try the all you can eat menu the next time. It is more expensive than its counterparts in SoCal, but I am guessing its because the cost of everything is higher here.

Loved this place. Wife and her sisters are full Korean and rated it as very authentic. Rich and complex flavors. $150 for 4 people but IMO this is about right for korean all u can eat BBQ, especially good quality. Place was clean and updated, servers were attentative. Would definitely go back.

Bad experience on food and ownership.I ordered expensive galbi($38x2)but there was no vegetables, lack of side dishes and very late to deliver soup. After complaining a little, but the owner won’t shown up but waitress tried to give us warm only. No wonder there is no Korean customers even though this is Korean restaurant. They are not ready to serve foods yet. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Having never been to a Korean restaurant even once in my 67 years, I was startled when the question Lunch or barbecue? was put to me. Since we were there for lunch, I almost said lunch, but I told the woman who had asked the question that I was craving Korean barbecued short ribs and hoped that would do for an answer (Im such a novice!). We were seated at a clean table and asked what we wanted to drink. They have wine and beer, but we opted for iced tea and they politely asked if we wanted it sweetened or not. When we gave our order, she said something about our order being dinner, but I did not understand what she was talking about. When we got the raw beef ribs, they had been nicely marinated and smelled wonderful. She put down the grate and lit the flame underneath and showed us how to cook the meat as well as cut it with the sharp scissors. A large bowl of salad showed up on our table, as did the small bowls of rice and pot stickers we had requested---plus maybe eight other bowls of little things for us to try (which we did). I fell in love with corn cheese. We were still starving, and we told her so, so she magically returned with raw marinated beef, pork, and chicken for us to cook. She said to be sure to eat only what we cook because if we do cook something we cannot eat, we would be charged for it, regardless. They also gave us two little bowls of more special sauce for dipping the cooked meats (I poured mine over my rice---yum!). No forks or knives are provided to you, so you will need to either bring a bib (kidding, but you should have seen my shirt after eating!), ask for lots and lots of napkins, and also accept the fact that you will have to scissors your meat to the size you want and either use your chopsticks or our fingers to eat. There is a soup spoon, but I used it for my rice and sauce. Our bill was about $65 for the two of us, and was about the right price for everything we ate---and loved! We think it was a fun place to eat, reasonably priced, and we will return!

Really disappointed. I found it as it advertises all you can eat... My kids and I love to grill and experiment with different meats at the table. Well thats not available right now, even though the website doesnt explain that. You have to chose afrom a very limited set of options. I sucked it up, and chose the Beef Combo. Well, outside of soup, sides and rice, we got 3 meats. They brought me a plate of 3 meats. 2 were sliced frozen meats with no marinade (think Shabu Shabu hot pot meat style) including one that was boneless short ribs and then some marinated Kalbi. The meat was, well, plain and boring. $65 for a plate of 3 meats, frozen, and only one marinated?! Table service was poor. 3 of us, we asked for 3 rices, and only 2 initially came. Took 3 asks to get soy sauce and silverware. Was hoping this would be a good local Korean place (one of my favorite cuisine) but alas, I wont come back.

Lunch AYCE on a Friday. For a party of 2 we had to wait 30 min for a grilling table. Surprised that for being pretty busy there was only 2 or 3 waitresses. It took a long time to get service. Their menu had a good selection in appetizers and meats. We started with the bulgogi, spicy pork and chicken. Also tried their pancake, potstickers, croquette, and corn cheese. Average amount in meat so when we ordered two more meats there was actually a lot more. Wasn’t too impressed by their banchan - we didn’t eat that much of it, no fish cake or potatoes or cucumbers.I don’t know of any other ayce lunch places nearby so I guess if I’m really craving it I’d come back but hopefully when service gets better.

For $26.95 +tax for all you can eat is a bit high price, but the foods taste is ok. Quality is fair, but too small serving portion size. You can always order more, but the will give just couple pieces. Minimum for 2 customers for all you can eat. Service was just fine. Went here for their $17/person AYCE KBBQ lunch on a Tuesday at 1:30pm. Ordered bulgogi, pork belly, baby octopus, tofu stew, korean pancake, and mixed veggies (onions and mushrooms). Food was good and our server would stop by our table often to ask if we needed more food or drinks. Our server also kept our hot plate at a good temperature; been to other kbbq spots where the plates get too hot or cold. The server also offered to change out our hot plate without us having to ask. Would definitely eat here again!

I accidently posted a one star review that was for a different restaurant. Banseok Jeong is actually one of the best korean restaurant in the east bay. We had a bad experience at a different korean restaurant close by(They gave us trouble ordering food 45mins before closing time even though we had called before going to the restaurant)We went to BanSeok Jeong instead and the same dish was so much cheaper and the quality was actually better. We were so happy with our food. I highly recommend!!

WORST ayce ever!!! Limited 2 meats per order. The order comes out with only 3 slices at a time. Everything is bland. Service is beyond extremely SLOW, waiter never comes back. U spend most of ur time waiting to order more meat. No refills on drinks. Extra charge for everything that every korean bbq gives complimentary. NOTHING about this place was worth $27 per person. Fantastic. It was my first time trying Korean BBQ. It was a lot of fun, with the hotplate nestled in the center of the table, and everyone getting to cook their own food. The choice of products to cook was vast, we had the table literally covered with dishes, with different types of meat, fish and vegetables. OptimalLocated on the ground floor with a large car park, the venue is fully accessible to disabled people in wheelchairs
