Barsha in Hermosa Beach

We really loved this place. The environment and interior was great. My family is Tunisian and we havent found any real authentic dishes until now. The Cous Cous was delicious. The bruschetta with tuna was also good. The live music, Martyn was great, what a good surprise for our dinner date. We cant wait to go back and try some more dishes.

Heavy, flavorful food.We shared the roasted cauliflower, which was topped with some nuts, dill, and pesto.I had the moussaka -- very heavy and creamy. Almost ate like a chili with cheese except with eggplant.My partner had the branzino, which was solid. The couscous was dense too.Adored our server.Only thing I didnt love was the outdoor seating, which was basically a tent in the parking lot.

What a great neighborhood restaurant. The food is so fresh and flavorful, from the French fries to the fish. It was all so good!The owners are so personable and care about the customers experience.

5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful!We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!

I was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at Barsha, located in an obscure parking lot this hidden gem offers amazingly delicious Tunisian delights. We were greeted by the owner Adnen Marouani, who was so funny and kind. We decided to sit at their outdoor makeshift patio (made during covid, thankfully stuck around to seat more customers and of course makes them dog friendly). The décor and restaurant itself are absolutely beautiful. The location is only a few blocks from the beach and guess what… you don’t have to look or pay for parking! I would suggest coming with a big group of friends and ordering a few items from each of the categories.OrderedTunisian Bruschetta – Tuna Conserva, chick pea mash, tomatoes, cucumbers, hardboiled egg.Roasted Eggplant – Heirloom tomato, caramelized onion, balsamic, almondStewed Chickpeas-Meshouia, feta, crusty breadBraised beef cheeks- Slow braised beef cheeks on creamy polenta served with arugula and crispy shallotsHot fudge (probably wrong name) – Gluten free chocolate cake and Tunisian date, scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with out fudge.We wanted to thank the Chef so the owner brought his wife out. It was a humble and intimate experience The owners, staff and chefs were more than accommodating. I decided to have my partners small birthday gathering here. We have some friends that live in Long Beach and wanted them to share the exact experience with us. We started at an outside table and unfortunately, it started to rain but that didn’t stop the amazing food coming out of the kitchen;Chicken liver Pate – Delightful! Came with pistachio and seasonal compote (grape or berry) very light in taste not overly seasoned.House Made Farmers Cheese – Ahhhmazing! Roasted beets, heirloom tomatoes, caramelized grape and mint! Super fresh, one of my favs on the menuTunisian Bruschetta – Delicious! Tuna conserva, chickpea mash, cucumber, tomato, egg. I can eat this all day!La Gouletter Mussels- Heavenly! Tomatoes, preserved lemon, caper, pilsner broth sooo good with the crusty bread!Braised Beef Cheeks – Divine! Polenta, arugula, crispy shallot, becarful this dish is addicting!Tunisian Fried Chicken (Only on Sundays) -Bussin! Tunisian spiced fried chicken with house made biscuits! I was in heaven!Moussaka – Delectable! Eggplant stew, tabil bechamel, parm, olive oil, croutons. The eggplant and bechamel was damn good!Chickpea 3 ways – Yumms! Chickpea balls, stew and puree for my Gluten Free fans!!And tried all 3 of their desserts! Honestly, it was amaze balls! Thank you Barsha for having us!

Great place for Tunisian in Torrance. Especially great if you like to drink wine. All the dishes are not a huge portion so I recommend to order several and share with wine.

Tiny plate full of flavor, a little on the oily side but all good!Service and night ambiances (Inside) is great, Tunisian/American modern.Price is fair for the food quality!

Barsha is a Tunisian restaurant with hip and cool ownership and they love people from Jersey! The staff was super friendly and even took selfies!

Barsha has such a warm and friendly atmosphere that is impossible not to fall in love with. They offer a great selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options in addition to meat dishes.

This is my first trip to Barsha, things are a little different of course due to COVID guidelines. But all in all great food, great experience and most importantly great ambiance under the circumstances.Adnen and all the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and make sure you’re enjoying your visit with them.Would recommend to anyone!Great variety of foods, meats & non-meats. Drinks, beers and desserts. I will be coming back!
