The food here was stellar! We went three times while we were at Terranea. I especially loved the garlic noodles. If it were up to me, we would have eaten there every night!

We went on a Wednesday night with a reservation and we were able to sit outside with stunning views, fantastic service, and delicious food. They actually had a Wednesday special of $0.99 sushi rolls so we tried it and it was delicious. We also ordered fresh tuna and salmon poke bowls as well as a garlic noodle dish.

We had an hour or so to waste, so we drove down here to get a snack and a drink and walk on the beach. This was a perfect spot for this. We got some chips and salsa and 4 beers. They have a nice selection of alcohol, including a LOT OF Scotch/whiskey. The bartender was super friendly and the staff was ready to help when we wanted to move an umbrella around outside to get some shade. Then it was a reasonable walk down to the beach to see the waves and birds. If get some free time in the area, Id definitely suggest it.

BASHI’s staff is the absolute best. From the managers Māria, Oksana, to Alex, Gennero (I hope I spelled that correctly), Lelaini and all the wait staff, I can’t say enough! Always friendly, welcoming, and courteous. The food is great, Margarotas tasty.

Unfortunately I’m judging Bashi off of only one dish, their poke bowl, but they got the order wrong twice 🤷🏽‍♂️ on an evening when they weren’t that busy.No burning desire to return, but I’d be willing to give it another chance with different dishes.

An incredible meal with a variety of options to choose from. Fast service with very knowledgeable servers and bartenders. Highly recommend in addition to Catalina Kitchen, Nelson’s, and Mar’sel!

The saddest green beans for $15, seriously 10 pieces? Extremely salty but could potentially be a very good dish if they pull back the salt and double the amount they give you. It’s not a fine dining type of place where a tiny portion is justifiable. There are huge TVs with football in the background during your meal.Overall very overpriced and minimal vegetarian and vegan options that provide for a full meal, they have a few modifiable dishes. Like the vegetable sushi roll, which was mixed greens wrapped in rice, it was okay for a fusion place.Our server was kind, but I had to flag a different server down after a long delay to get the check.

The best Ramen I have ever had with delicious 24-hour cooked broth, in addition to tender Turkey breasts that was Sous-Vide for 8 hours.Surprisingly, the Ramen is cooked by an American chef, not a Japanese chef.The Ramen is comprised of Sous-Vide Turkey Breasts, Soft Poached Egg, Menma & Shiitake Mushrooms, Scallions, Nori.The restaurant has a great ambience, and the waitress is very professional and friendly.

Awesome food opens exactly at noon not one minute before not one minute after . You also have a time limit of 90 minutes covid-19 restrictions are in place .felt completely safe the whole time great food make sure to make reservations prior to coming if you show up you might not get in

Amazing! Great food, ridiculous ambience, and top notch service. We ate here multiple times during our trip and savored every moment. We also found several delicious dishes in the Bashi Hamachi roll, Spicy Dumplings, and enjoyed the kids menu items that our son didnt finish :) They took great care of us, and even brought out a heaping bowl of vanilla Gelato and a candle for our sons 3rd birthday! Will return again for sure during our next visit.

When you visit terranea resort, you have to go bashi. This is the best place to drink sake and they have most romatic outdoor seat.

The hostess was very nice. The server was a bit spacy, this unattentive. We ordered the sunomono and spicy tuna roll as starters. Both were okay. The sunomono was good. The spicy tuna wasnt spicy, but had cucumber instead of seaweed, which was unique. As for the entrees, we ordered the BBQ spare ribs which were dry, even with the sauce. The pickled veggies that came with were sparse. The sea bass was over cooked and the sauce on it was extremely salty. We would not go here again, especially for the quality and flavor of food versus price. The view was pretty though.

Everything here was delicious and fresh.We got the triple roll (so fresh and tasty!), the garlic noodles (wow, a must), and the sea bass (packed with flavor).The fish quality for the roll was fresh and high-quality. The garlic noodles were to die for and I could eat an entire order on my own. Pair the noodles with the sea bass and you’ll be in taste heaven.And to top it all off the miso bread pudding was out of this world. Not too sweet, but still another dish packed with flavor.10/10 recommend.

Pretty average. Garlic noodle tasted bland (added chicken tasted very gamy). Sashimi ok. Poke bowl is salty (and did I see only 8 pieces of yellowtail in it??). Food doesn’t match the high end feel of the resort. My server wasn’t attentive at all.

Adjacent to Terrnea Resort pool with views of Pacific. Fresh Sushi with tasty appetizers. Bartender, Jonathan, had the group raving about his mixed drinks. Surprised running into food & bar manager Oksana, whom I first met 6 years ago while she managed The Pike Bar & Fish Grill in Long Beach.

We had my husband’s 70th birthday dinner at Bashi- what a treat! The food was delicious!The dishes are served family style, so with the assist of our server, we selected a delicious assortment.We stayed with sushi and sashimi. Then our main dishes were garlic noodles, crispy sea bass and Crispy Walnut shrimp. I’d recommend all of these again!We had a very nice outdoor table on a full moon night. Even in November this was a good choice as they had outdoor heaters available.Thanks for helping make our celebration so delicious and enjoyable!

Good place for sushi. Best items to get are the Garlic noodles with beef, the crispy rice, and the dragon roll for your entrees. Their Whiskey Bread Pudding is one of the best desserts youll have. No matter what you order, make sure to order that dessert. You wont regret it

We went to Bashi for lunch couple of time, flavors are mild for food and cold tea. They are picky about table locations, don’t let you choose for some reason even if other stay empty whole time.

If I could give this place zero star, I would. We sat and no one took our order. We waited and have to go back to the front and ask for the waiter. The next table who came after us were served first. So f#$!%$# racist. Finally, food came and it was too salty. Will never come back here. Neveeeeerrrrrr

Fantastic Asian-inspired meal at the beautiful Terranea Resort. Service was extremely friendly, fast, and efficient. The indoor part of the restaurant was smaller than expected with a busy, lively, and casual atmosphere; outdoor seating faced the resort pool and a cove on the Pacific beyond. The menu was packed with interesting choices. The salt and pepper calamari as prepared perfectly, just the right texture with only mild breading and spices. The eggplant and okra stew was a surprisingly complex mix of flavor with curry and coconut foundations. The Peking duck fried rice was as good but rather ordinary. The octopus is crispy on the outside and firm on the inside with a beautiful charred exterior...wonderful! We loved the $3 kimchi side—great value for great food! The miso whisky bread pudding was a spectacular mix of sweet and savory and kind of a surprising desert for this type of restaurant. The half-priced bottle of good sake (happy hour) was an extra bonus, especially paired with a good Japanese beer. Reservations highly suggested. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just because I have to give them a star. But if I could take stars from them they would be star less. The food was cold and felt like it was all frozen food put on a microwave and left outside to cool down. Them they gave it to us to eat. The only thing that was hot was the edamame was the only thing hot. They served it after our dinner was served. Run away from this place.

One of my favorite Asian restaurants in socal. Very relaxed but excellent food, great view. Next to the pool so there can be a bit of background noise if sitting outside on a busy day, but it is not bothersome for our family in the slightest.

Had friends staying at Casitas at Terranea. Decided on more informal dinner at Bashi. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available as well as seating at their bar. Dinner is served family style with portions meant to share. Food was excellent. Had garlic noodles with chicken and with steak; Dumplings, Shrimp and lots of Sushi. All served fresh. Service was good. They do have kids meals as well.

Probably the best dinner weve had this week at Terranea. Sushi rolls were fresh and tasty.Crispy walnut prawns came with a crunchy addition (we think it was pear slices). Prawns are perfectly cooked though over dressed.Garlic noodles were good though the tofu in them were pretty flavorless.Shaking beef was the highlight. Perfectly seasoned and cooked cubes of filet mignon, with fried shallots, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and watercress. The watercress was wilted. The sauce that came with this dish was the best - a good add on to everything.Service was friendly and prompt.If they stay open this week well probably come back for a repeat visit.

Very disappointed in the service. We were a family of 8, and the food came out in dribs and drabs over a span of an hour. Half of the party sat on their food waiting for the others to get their food... the last dishes to be delivered were the nigiri plates, which were of poor quality. The salmon was very fishy. I am really disappointed in this place.

Had Bashi food at a work event. It was absolutely incredible, and I wish I had eaten at the actual restaurant. My favorite thing was a beef tenderloin meat with caramelized onions and tomatoes and a delicious sauce. Highly recommend.
