The entrance is on the side so you might be trying to go in the wrong way depending on the parking lot you came from. Service here is pretty quick and friendly but its pretty dark inside.Food is good but a little pricey for the portion sizes. The Pho was tasty but barely had any meats in it. I ordered it with the beef balls and brisket and they cut the beef balls into 1/6th cuts to hide that youre only getting 2. The brisket were tiny and thin. There were only 4 or 5 pieces. This was a large bowl I ordered and it had half the meats I normally get from other Pho places in the area. Good food but you dont get much for the price.

Last year this restaurant was phenomenal. I ate here about two months ago & I was disappointed. I ordered a dry dish that was very gross. A lot of fat when it came to a ratio of edible chicken to the fat/salt content it has now. A different type of seasoning or a lack of the great dish it was before. The waiter is still great at doing his job of serving. I will not return to this place. Love to Pho is great restaurant every time I visit there if I want Vietimense food.

Went with friends and ordered 5 plates. Each one was so different from the others and were sure tasty. I was surprised at how reasonable the price. Food this good usually costs way more.Went back again for Pho soup. It was the best Pho soup I have had - lots of chicken and veggies - wonderful curry flavor. Dessert was a lemon sorbet - came in an actual lemon and was great.

Excellent Bánh mì on a toasted French bread filled with marinated vegan chicken-style protein, pickled veggies, mayonnaise. Started offwith appetizer of delicious cauliflower bites to lead toward a great vegan Phở Vietnamese soup dish consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and vegan ham style meat. The house made ginger ale was tasty. My favorite place!

A must try while in Camarillo!, this Phò place is beyond exceptional as what Ive expected. The staff are really nice, on-site parking spots, this place is close to the Camarillo Premium Outlets, you really have to drop by in after the long hours of shopping! Highly recommended!

Went here for the first time and was amazed by the great food! The service staff was really friendly and helpful with menu questions. We ordered the pork belly bun appetizer (delicious!) and I got the banh mi with beef (pictured). The sandwich bread was perfectly toasted and soft at the same time and the carrots, cucumber and jalapeño complemented the beef well. Definitely coming back soon!

1st time here and wont be back. The host was not friendly or pleasant. Dumped us at our table and moved on. This was the 1st impression. Our server was awkward and also not very warm. I tend to look for a server who is truly taking care of me and personable. Our server went MIA for a long period of time after delivering the food. There was an issue with the order, so it took way too long to get it corrected. My biggest complaint is the atmosphere. Mediocre cleanliness and tons of gnats landing in my food, drink, and flying around my table. This is off-putting and does not feel like a place I want to eat and/or enjoy a meal.Unfortunate.....I had heard good things

Awesome place to dine in whenever you’re hungry. Food is all house made and of excellent quality. The decor and lighting in the restaurant really make it feel cozy and comfortable. Great food and service all around at this joint. The outdoor patio area is great when you want to sit outside and get some fresh air while you’re eating, and also has a good view of the tv.

It was OK.. mainly because I need my pho as traditional as it can be. The spring rolls we ordered turned out to be a summer roll with beef. It was interesting as we can taste the bulgogi sauce in it. Nice place to go if you like Vietnamese fusion food with good ambiance.

By far one of my favorite pho joints around Ventura county. Friendly staff is there to greet you in and make you at home. I usually drink their homemade ginger ale, but I tried out their hot tea this time, and I was not disappointed. My favorite item on the menu is the filet mignon pho. The meat is very tender, and the broth is light-bodied but packed full of beef flavor. I simply could not get enough of it. Over all, very impressed and very full every time I visit.

I ordered the fried rice with chicken and at first I was presented with this sloppy goop that was hard to eat. I finally got up the nerve to ask if this is what their rice normally looks like and the waitress said it did look different then she said shed take it back and have them make me a new one. My husband was done eating by the time the second rice was done so I got it to go. Once I found my appetite later I greatly enjoyed the rice! Based on the second plate of rice I would definitely order it again.A pet peeve of mine is having to track down our server to get a drink refill and we were left waiting for water for a long time after having asked for it. We put our empty cups visibly on the other side of the table and even after our server returned multiple times she forgot to bring water. So for that I docked an extra star.

This place is hidden in the corner in the back of the parking lot. I ordered a beef banh mi and a LARGE chicken Pho which was enough for two. The beef on the banh mi was VERY tasty, I wanted more ;) Pho was jammed packed with noodles and chicken but broth seemed to lack that punch of flavor even after I added the usual accompaniments. Prices are reasonable..will go again and explore other items!

So glad I found this place through Axxess, which is accepted rn. Delicious food, huge portion sizes, and friendly staff. Ordered the vermicelli noodle with grilled chicken and egg rolls for $14. It was very good, the only thing that couldve made it even better was some mint leaves. During covid, indoor and outdoor seating is spaced apart, hand sanitizers are provided, and temperature checks are taken at the door.

Great service, but the food was off. Shrimp fried rice - the fried rice didnt seem freshly made and the shrimp tasted of ammonia. Lemongrass chicken - seemed reheated as some was hot and some was cold. Appetizers and cocktails were fine.

She was friendly and professional.Food didnt have much flavor, chicken was extremely dry but was manageable with a lot of dipping sauce, soup seemed to have been sitting because noodles soaked up a lot of broth, veggies were not the freshest, server seemed forced to be there, facility was NOT clean in booths or outdoors, and the restrooms were not presentable for guests. Chose not to finish food served. Not returning. Never recommending.

We were thinking the restaurant might have been sold because of the poor food quality. Our food was overcooked, salty, the chicken was hard, couldnt taste any basil in the basil chicken dish. It had been a while since we had been there and we all disliked our food. One plate was hotter than the food on it. It was bad and it was expensive. So, we were very disappointed. We still paid, tipped the waitress her 20% (the food being horrible wasnt her doing) and she tried to give the beat service she could. The dumpling 🥟 were swimming in what tasted like old oil. They werent supposed to be fried. I dont think our family will be back. We used to love them.

The food could be better. There was nobody at the door greeting customers. I walked in and stood at front door where it says to wait to be seated. The staff saw me but didnt acknowledge me for few minutes. They just need day Hello gives us a min or something like that. I saw people stand there and then leave. Last saturday night, I had the opportunity to celebrate with loved ones a very very special birthday, we were privvies to the tiny but fantastic bar from 5 to 8. We enjoyed succulent appetizers and we all were ready for the customary 1 or 2 drinks. We even sang happy birthday and had our cake too. Then the time to open to the public came and thanks to 6 ounces of madness we ended up staying till midnight. What a night. The next day, we went back to enjoy the food from their restaurant, the place has a very modern vibe, they seem to be extremely busy and popular. I enjoyed my soup and my group was also very satisfy. It was my first time there. Definitely, a great place to break the monotonous routines and just live it up.

Food is typically great. Their downfall is their online ordering platform which gives an inaccurate time when your order will be ready based off of an approximation, not when its actually ready. I ordered ahead of time and waited the 30 minutes before driving to the restaurant to pick it up. We waited outside for 15 minutes, just for the hostess to tell is it would be yet another 15 minutes before it was ready. Its been another half hour and still no food. Im still waiting as I write this review. I should not have paid and included a tip ahead of time.

I love this place and go here on a weekly basis! The food is excellent, especially the vegetarian stuff and Pho....I really love the number 56 and vegetarian spring rolls and the tiger prawns with jalapeno. I also really like the vegetarian egg rolls...but then again I have liked everything I have ordered. They have a great selection of beers on tap and any of the bar tenders can make a great drink as well. They also now have the Amendment open in the back after 8 PM and it stays open pretty late and Dan and his staff make some really great cocktails and the atmosphere is awesome and rustic. The space would lend itself to a great private party too. This is definitely in my top 3 places to eat in Camarillo and I love eating here.

This is normally my familys go-to pho spot, we even come the extra miles from Ventura, but todays meal was completely off. We ordered our usual Vegan pho, vegetarian spring rolls, and Thai tea with coconut milk. When we picked up our order the server seemed rushed and really lacked customer service. Tucked in the corner of the strip mall, the unassuming entrance gives little hint of the culinary pleasure you can expect. Hubby and I started with Vietnamese coffee and tea. If you like tapioca I recommend the boba in your drink. I ordered the lettuce wrap and the complex flavor combination of beef, fresh vegetables and pickled carrots were delicious and satisfying. Hubby had the chicken pho with glass noodles, which he enjoyed too. We were not rushed so we ordered a simple dessert of ice cream. Although we didnt partake, we noticed the fully stocked Mint Bar. Service is attentive and welcoming. The food is cooked to order and is worth the wait. We will definitely be back!

I’m new to the area and i wanted to find some authentic vietnamese food. the pho broth here was clear and tasty, i could tell that they didn’t fill it with a bunch of fillers that most restaurants do. i wish they would give more meat for the pho though. i come from a city where a bowl of combination pho is $9-$10. i paid $16 for mine here and the meat quantity was very low. overall, the staff is friendly and the restaurant was clean! i would come again because it’s the only decent vietnamese restaurant in town.

It was a rainy, cold-ish day and I wanted a healthy warm soup and salad. I decided to finally try Basil and Mint. I am very happy I did, to treat myself. Their foods are well portioned. I ordered the Crispy Egg Noodle stir fry and it was so delicious. It came with boko choy, yummy small mushrooms, baby corn, broccoli, chicken and shrimp all on top of the crispy egg noodle. Theirs also a sauce on the bottom of the plate that compliments the dish so I normally mix it with everything. This usually causes the noodles to soften a bit. Hands down one of my favorite dishes there so far. I cant wait to try more.

Sat down to eat. Waitress took our order. We were in the middle of eating our appetizer when I noticed three female employees staring at us and talking about us. Ok. A minute later I heard one of them say they just sat down, its going to be a while. Starting to become uncomfortable. The last straw was when a cook came out and was staring at us. It was surreal. I finally got up and asked the waitress if she wanted us to move or something. She said yeah, that would be great. It was so embarrassing to have employees staring and talking about us five feet away, rather than come up and ask us if we could move. It was such a humiliating experience. I cannot believe that this happened. I hope if this were to happen in the future, the employees would simply come up and say there was a mistake and seat us somewhere else. Truly embarrassing. We ended just leaving because the situation was past uncomfortable.

It took way to long yo get my to go order. They were busy but I think my order was ready abd sitting for awhile before I got it. It was barely warm by the time I got home and it is usually very hot. As always, it was very good, but I had to warm it up.

Great place to enjoy some delicious pho on a cold day! We stopped by here for dinner because we had classes in the area and were craving some pho on a cold day. We were fortunate enough to make it in time for happy hour and were very surprised at the size of our pho bowl...it was huge! We enjoy spicy food and asked to have our pho a little spicier, which was not an issue. Although I didnt get the opportunity to enjoy an ice cold beer (it was a very cold day), I did notice that they had 805 and Racer 5 on tap...which are two of my favorite beers!

I love love this place. I like the fact that when I am craving Pho and Im at the Outlets, I can come here. When I am in a hurry, I call ahead and get it to go.Spring rolls are amazing! So are the frozen mango desserts.I will confess that Ive only had Vietnamese food at one other place, Pho Saigon in Oxnard. I loved it there and I love it here. I prefer the atmosphere at Basil and Mint though. More room to relax and have a nice meal on a date night with my wife.We got to meet the owner/chef one night when she came out to the dining room while we were eating and talked to us for a bit to see how we liked the meal. She was so friendly and it was neat to hear the story of why she started the restaurant. Her Vietnamese accent was a bit thick so it was a little hard for me to understand her but I think we got the gist of it.FYI, the restaurant is tucked away in the left corner of the plaza.Get the House Noodle Soup and add lots of lemon... sooo good!

Atmosphere and service were great, but thats not why you really go to eat out. You spend your hard earned money to eat somebody elses delicious cooking. In this case, it was SUPPOSED to be authentic vietnamese cuisine; it was quite the opposite. I have been to authentic Vietnamese restaurants. How do I know? The owners were Vietnamese, the menus were in Vietnamese writing, the chefs were old Vietnamese ladies that I could see making the food with my own eyes. The food was overpriced and very remotely Vietnamese in taste; more like a half-hearted failed attempt to reproduce Grandmas home cooking. I had high hopes when I dined here because of all the great reviews. So high, as a matter of fact, that I ordered more plates than my wife I and couldve finished, thinking that I wouldnt mind having leftovers from such a highly reviewed restaurant. It was the first time we had been out to eat in quite a while. We were extremely disappointed with minutes of receiving our food. My advice to the owners/managers: hire real Vietnamese chefs!Pros: Visually pleasing atmosphere, attentive service.Cons: Overpriced, faux Vietnamese food.

A little hidden gem in Camarillo, literally hidden, as I had a difficult time locating this place. On a Monday night, I had a craving for pho and consulted Yelp. This place popped up and I was trying to beat the clock of their 9pm closing time. My GPS failed me and led me into the residential area. Be sure to include the word North Lantana in your GPS search.With 10 minutes to spare, I finally made it inside. Since I get pho tai ($7.95) at pretty much every pho join I visit, this time was no different. With a Yelp check in, you get 2 free egg rolls! The lady was super nice and didnt hurry me at all as I was the only customer left.The soup broth was flavorful and not salty, which means no MSG! The amount of noodles and meat were also quite generous. The bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. I also enjoyed the thinly sliced onions.The egg rolls were also tasty, but not greasy. All in all, Id eat here again if Im in the area and craving pho. Service was fantastic. Finally, I finished everything and was on my way around 9:30pm. Had something in the water on the inside side of the cup, asked for new water and had to remind them 2 times before getting it. Also asked for a bowl and had to remind them 2 more times to get it. I had Combo Pho which it was rushed and the noodle was hard. They only asked us for water once at the very ending when we were about to leave then at the end the Busser spilt Pho on me which only said “sorry” like okay bud okay. Bad service, fire em all

Not impressed with food quality. The noodles of Bún chả dish was all chopped up as if for baby consumption! The filet mignon of Phở was nothing to write home about. Looked almost like processed meat, and at that, small quantity too considering the $15 I paid for lunch service.Ventura county, for most, is poor when it comes to ethnic food, Asian in particular.

This is the most consistently amazing restaurant in Ventura County, especially Camarillo. Great for any occasion but my favorite routine is to bring my guests and sit at the bar..... Daniel is the most amazing person ever, dont know whether to say bartender, mixologist or generally all around nice guy...Evey time we visit I try to have something different and every single thing is just so delicious, curry noodles took me over the top tonight but you cant visit without taking a tour of all the appetizers... the Pork Belly buns are simply fantastic and for a calamari nut, they top any restaurant in town.... this place is amazing, simply put! Get the calamari with jalapenos!
