Basil Thai Restaurant in Paso Robles

This restaurant is absolutely one of my favorites in all of Paso Robles! The food is delicious in every way! Even my picky eater finds incredible dishes that he loves! It is the perfect date night with a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere! It is also a fantastic lunch or family dinner out! It hits all the spots and I can’t speak highly enough of them! Everyone is very find as well going above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy yourself!

Nice Thai food restaurant. Staff were pleasant and friendly. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, Panang curry with chicken and Green curry with chicken. The flavors were typical for a a Thai restaurant and appropriately spiced consistent with our request. The place got busy and we were handed our check and told there was no hurry but we were not asked if we wanted dessert. Overall a good meal.

Incredible atmosphere and great service, got seated fast and got our order in quick. All the food came out at relatively the same time and it was all really good. We had the Thai sampler and every item on there was good! I ordered the Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the spice level was great, flavor was there, but maybe the chicken was a little dry. Overall satisfied with what I got but, it is on the more expensive side for most main entrees compared to $10-20 range of other spots; this place is $15-25

I love coming here every time I visit Paso. Really delicious authentic Thai food, with fabulous service right off the town square. The sampler is wonderful with a little taste of several appetizers - the satay chicken and fresh rolls are my favorites. I also ordered the shrimp salad which was very refreshing on a hot day. Highly recommended 😊

Delicious Thai Cuisine, Lovely Environment.PROS: The food was excellent and served in very aesthetically-pleasing ways. The staff and service was great; they were helpful, accommodating to a changing reservation, and treated us well/attentively the entire time. The place was busy, but we never waited long for anything. And the overall atmosphere is nice, given the decor and arrangement.CONS: It was busy (Mothers Day/Sunday), so it was perhaps hard to hear over the volume of other voices at times - but not enough to sway from eating at the establishment. ((Two Thumbs Up)).

This food was terrible. It had so many chili pepper skins that I had to pick them out. I tried to eat it for 2 days and I just couldn’t. The rice was over cooked. The shrimp had no flavor or seasoning. I don’t know how they could mess this up. 3 patters costing almost $80 and it was definitely not worth it. They should be ashamed.

The food is so good. I can’t believe I can find such excellent Thai food in Paso Robles. They are more than happy to swap a beer for me when a fly accidentally landed in my drink. The staffs are very friendly.

Dinner was good but not great. Flavors were muted like the kitchen staff is forced to cater to sensitive taste buds instead of making the dishes the way they are meant to taste. People who eat Thai love flavor and spice, this place has to step it up. Atmosphere is nice and staffi is attentive and friendly.Prices are a bit on the high side, but that must be related to high rent because of the prime location across the park. Overall I give them a good review but Ive had better tasting Thai in several other places.I had a tall 805, Panang Curry w/beef & extra rice $31.25!

Excellent Thai cuisine with great service.

Freaking awesome Thai food. This place is very very clean. The food has that spicy Thai taste you look forward to in dining on excellent Thai food. Its also located downtown Paso right at the park. Parking can be a pain but the food is worth the drive and parking space search or wait. If you enjoy Thai food look no further. Staff here are also very friendly and on time without having to ask for water or soy sauce or whatevs you need. The menu is also very simplified which makes ordering quick and easy. Check it out if your in the north county.
