The food was good decent variety. My salad had a little too much dressing on it, and I would have preferred it on the side. I know that for next time. Overall, very pleasant experience staff was courteous and attentive and service was prompt will return.

Great Happy Hour prices! We got the Pork Belly, Chicken, Potato, and Carnitas Tacos, each $4. They added some great toppings to complement each meat. Like Corn, Cactus, Pinapple, etc., depending on the meat.They offer a Sofrito (Tofu) Taco as well, that we did not order.Each came with great salsa and sauces.Garlic Fries and Onion Ring Appetizers came in hot and had some ketchup and another creamy sauce of which I cant remember the name, but excellent.The Garlic on the Fries was plentiful and not overwhelming, we put the pile of garlic chunks that fell to the bottom on the cup on top of the non garlic Fries and like water on a Gremlin, we made more delicious Garlic Fries!The Seared Ahi Tuna Salad was great after we asked for additional dressing, but try it the way it is served. It is very good. We just like a lot of dressings and sauces.The fish served with the Fish N Chips was cooked perfectly. It was flakey, tender, and hot. I believe the cooking oil was due to be changed, and you can judge by the color of the batter on the Onion Rings and Fish. But, any great high volume Fish N Chips joint does serve theirs less golden and darker in color. So you be the judge.The Happy Hour Old Fashioned comes with Evan Williams for $8. I asked for Bulleit, that was $12.50.The Pear Cider and Moscow Mule were like most places.Ill give it a 4 Star for it being the ever crucial first visit impressions.The Staff was great, friendly and professional. They all help, youre not assigned a single Server.Well visit again and try different plates to get an overall opinion. But definitely worth the visit.

Good place to meet with a few friends, and watch some games. Pretzel was really good, and soft.

After spending the whole day at The Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, we decided to explore downtown Monrovia for dinner.We chose the Basin 141 Social Bar & Kitchen and it was packed! The weather was nice so we decided to sit outside where we could hear the music across the street. When it started getting cooler, they turned on the heaters. Great customer service!- Signature Tacos1 Crisp Pork Belly Taco: the corn salsa had big chunks of corn (maybe a little too big for this taco). The Crispy Pork Belly could have been a little bigger in size. Wanted to be able to taste more Pork Belly than corn. Loved the grilled yellow pepper. Comes with Chipotle Aioli.1 Braised Short Rib Taco: tender and juicy, lots of short rib and queso fresco on top.Upgrade to sweet potato fries. So good!- The 141 DogBacon wrapped and topped with grilled peppers and onions.

It was a pretty good place, though a bit pricey for the food and drinks.First time being there. Id go back.

Sat down outside for a Sunday afternoon bite and drink. Nice atmosphere. Food was good, but service was lack luster. We had the truffle Mac and cheese. Very good, but overpriced for the serving size. We also had the bratwurst. This is why its a 2 star rating vs a 3 (considering the poor service). The brat was sliced down the middle, and staggered to fit a standard full length bun. In other words, it was a mini (short) brat stretched to be a normal sized brat. This would have been fine if it was priced accordingly. At $13, I expect a normal size brat, especially when I think Im ordering one. Im not even sure I wouldve noticed, considering how conveniently placed the over sized helping of sauerkraut was. But, with the ratio of meat to bread to sauerkraut being severely off in the first bite, I had a closer look. This was shrinkflation at its best. The brat was definitely good, and Im definitely okay with paying higher prices, if I get higher quality food. However, this was not that. They couldve charged me $2-$3 more and gave me a full brat, and I wouldve been happy. Instead, I consider this to be the handy work of a shady restaurant owner trying to save a penny on me.. and now I likely wont be back to spend any more of my pennies. On the flip side, I walked over to an ice cream place across the street, and though it was more expensive than your average ice cream, it was exactly the opposite experience. (Its how a premium price works with premium goods). Excellent service, and EXCELLENT ice cream! Read about it in another one of my reviews.

While the food and service were good here, the place was quite dirty. There were flies everywhere and we were swatting them our entire meal. The restrooms were also under par. And while I understand it’s summer, the air conditioning in the restaurant was also lacking. Regardless, we had a lovely time with our friends.

I ordered the steak frites. The flavor/seasoning was really great on the steak but the fries not so much even though they were garlic Parmesan fries. I wouldve given a higher score but unfortunately both fries and steak were cold. Also my partner ordered a burger that was supposed to come with fries but they swapped it for a salad without asking, which was strange. If the prices were lowered then I would consider going back, but $26 for cold food is sadly not worth it. At least they can season steak though.

This is a cool place... trendy atmosphere with good beers and cocktails.The food was good.. but not great... but that was just the happy hour menu, so I cant comment on the full menu.I will say they dont have a very big menu... but thats ok.. because its a cool bar that serves food.The decor is really cool also, and the staff are really nice.This is a new place, so my fingers are crossed for it as I would love to make it a regular for our friends to meet up.We talked to the manager and he was really approachable and helpful, Sean I thinkUpdate: second visit here... much better food this time... is a really cool looking bar with really nice staff... the table servers are extremely pleasant and always have a smile on them.I will certainly be coming here again...
