1st time here I walk in and no one was at the counter I saw a young lady hiding behind a big bucket on her phone with both headphones on so I figured it was a customer. I walk up to the counter and she stands up gets behind the register and is standing there texting looking down both headphones in her ears. When she is done she looks up and ask what would I like to order. I place my order and she said it would be 20 min which Im like ok. She then goes back to the chair behind the bucket w headphones oblivious to the world. Customer service was subpar but I will say the chicken wings were really good.

The Original Chicken is fire! Taste like Churches chicken and Cane’s chicken mixed together. Crazy good! Kimchi fried rice is also one of my favorite things from there. The Dumplings need a sauce, they give soy sauce but it’s too over power on the soy. But if they could make like an asian zing sauce that would be great but alone is fire.

I usually never write reviews but this place was SO good!! If you’re craving Korean chicken, this is definitely the spot. We ordered fries, spicy original wings, rose tteokboki, and honey garlic and hot spicy boneless chicken! Everything tasted so good, the chicken was soooo crispy and tenderr, deff one of the best Korean chicken spots I’ve tried in California. The service was also fast and nice, I would definitely come here again :)

I came to this place because I love the golden original bbq chicken I had in Seoul and Busan. But I was very disappointed when the cook said they use canola vegetable oil to deep fry the chicken instead of olive oil. The size of the chicken was small also. Definitely not the same company I went to. Will never go back!

The lunch special is really good! I enjoyed the boneless chicken.... The only issue is either my sweet potato fries were burnt or they were not fresh.... but for sure, they were burnt. But overall, chicken was really good 🥲

Chicken was so good! They have a restaurant in Buena Park which is crowded. Maybe expensive but will last 2 meals since the wings are big. Worth the wait!

Ordered the Honey Garlic Wings and it was really good! The flavor was on point, super crispy on the outside (as Korean style wings should be) and really juicy on the inside. These were really good sized wings too, not like the smaller ones you would get at Wing Stop.Just as a warning, these wings are made to order, so they take longer to cook. Its recommended to call in advance.Looking forward to trying more flavors from this place!

Honestly, I wish I could give bbq chicken a much higher star rating, since the food is so good, but of all the times Ive come, its always been a 40+ minute wait. Even now, we ordered at 1:31pm, and it is now 2pm. There was only one other couple in front of us, and neither one of us has our order yet.

I had been waiting over 40 minutes for my order. I went to the counter to ask and the woman had an incredibly terrible attitude. She claimed to have called my name several times despite there being no one else talking in the restaurant except my group, and no one heard her say my name. She was also standing around and eating at the register during that time. I regret bothering to tip.

There rude Mary,L who took my order rude and very FN nasty expensive because I have order this same meal twice in Anthem,Ca reasonable price with a drink cost me two less then what I paid which was $15.65 without a drink also the manger had a attitude gave me less food with a nasty attitude I guess because I am vegan I order no egg,no cheese,no chicken, I still got less than what I order in Anthem,Ca also I was charged a $1.65 for hot sauce tax was 15 cent almost two dollars for hot sauce got an attitude when I ask about other BBQ Chicken establishment I am the paying customer see if I come back an other thing else dont catch a attitude when I am the paying customer period I will be talking corporate about this horrific experience......

Food was really really good! Price, not so much. They also do not have options for single serving. We had the galbi and kimchi fried rice. So good!I would definitely come back because the food was so good, but not for a while because of the price and serving size. This place is really like a restaurant but with a fast food facade. Its kinda like a to go counter of restaurants but with very small dining area.

Tasty - but pricey - $17 for 1/2 chicken in pieces. $33 for a full chicken in pieces.. lots of sauce choices - hot and spicy is very spicy.. secret sauce is mild spice. Spicy galbi has a Smokey flavor. Ask for a taste of the sauces they are accommodating.

Craving Korean fried chicken? This is the best youll find in LA, hands down. I waited to write this after a year, and about 12 orders have been done just to be sure. So unless you are a specifically Koreatown lover, this location in Gardena is fantastic and ideally placed for the SouthBay natives. My kids like fried chicken, but every once in a while, the family craves the extra crispy and savory taste of honey garlic, gang em style, or just OG. The fries are great, and the kimchi fried rice is a treat. I always go wings with bone or a half and half whole chicken for a great combo of flavors. I never tried boneless, and honestly, I never will. Not our style.Friendly service takes about 20-30 minutes for the order to be ready. Thats how you know its made fresh for you. I always call in or order online before making the 20-minute drive over. That way, as soon as I get there, its ready to go, and I get home quickly.This is not Kentucky fried chicken, hot and soggy mess thats ready in 2 minutes. This is authentic Korean fried chicken, double battered and double fried to perfection, requiring time.Enjoy!

Easily the best wings I have ever had in my life. Its the potatoe starch in Korean fried wing recipes that sets it apart and this place perfects it! So good. Ive only found 2 places with wings this good in LA. Here and moms touch chicken and I would say bb-q slightly edges them with a crisper skin.

My husband and I went there today and were not disappointed. The chicken was so crispy and the sauce was excellent and flavorful. We got the Honey garlic and the soy garlic. Both were extremely deliciousThe only negative is that the prices are high. A 9 piece of chicken wings is $15.99 and an order of French fries was $5.99. But I will still go back for more because it was so good.

Let me start by saying I LOVE this place. I love the food its amazing. But DO not expect to eat here if its 9:15 pm and you just ordered your food and it comes out at 9:35 pm. They kick you out because they close at 9:40 pm. Yes, I repeat they close IN PERSON at 9:40 pm. They will you kick you out even if you ORDER and SIT DOWN at 9:15 pm. Some of us late night workers love places that are open till 10 but this is a whole new level of pure outrage I am feeling. I came yesterday and they closed at 9:40 so had to go to Panda Express.So yes food is good, timing needs management to intervene.

Went at 1 on a Tuesday and it was empty. Staff were really friendly and patient. I got my food in a fairly rapid 15 minutes. Got the boneless cheeslings and was delighted to find it was dark meat and very juicy. Its not the cheapest but they are quality, large chicken chunks!I didnt really taste the cheese too much but I didnt mind because it was so tasty. Get the side of sauce to make your own half/half combo. Secret spicy wasnt very spicy.

1st time going here, ordered the whole regular chicken w/side of soy garlic sauce to try. You know to eachs own but I honestly found it to just be regular fried chicken and the sauceover powering with garlic and mystery ingredients maybe being ginger.This is over priced as well, the whole chicken has 16pcs but u dont get any breasts and some small pcs which look like nuggets they count as pieces - thats false advertising. No wonder they can get 16pcs in such a small box. $34 for only chicken!? - at KFC and Chicken Maison you are least get a full meal.I dont recommend and will not be going back. Really really delicious Korean fried chicken. Weve gone here quite a few times at this point and its been consistent each visit. We always get the large spicy Galbi wings - highly recommend, as its the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy and is very filling for two people. Chicken is always super crispy as the to-go package is well ventilated. Prices are a little expensive and the wait can be long, but its worth it in my opinion. Just call ahead to order so you dont have to wait there. Its usually a 20-30 minute wait when we order, and they always call if our order is ready early. Overall, highly recommend trying this place!

What happend to real bbq? The chicken was not crispy at all. Probably did not fry twice! I orderd medium original and medium honey garlic. The portion got lot smaller than before. They did not give me pickled radish, no utensils and napkins like all other restaurants! When I asked for hot sauce, they said they dont have it. Last time, i got 1 hot sauce after a long lecture from the worker. No hot sauce in the bbq restaurant?? How much did you save from neglecting all those services? Very disappointed! Now, the Love Letter Chicken and Pizza is my go to.Todays dinner is ruined!

You can always expect good chicken from bbqchicken and the Garedna location is no exception. If youve never tried it before, a half&half original fried + secret spicy can never go wrong. If you have sweet tooth try the soy garlic or honey garlic =) Dont forget to order extra sliced radish to go along with the fried chicken!

Oh my! I just tried the medium (9 wings) Wings of Fire! And they did not disappoint!Some places...cough...cough...Arbys!..claim to have Diablo sauce so hot you must tic tok it and its not even Del Sorcho spicy!Other places will give you spice but they there is no flavor here. Also Cashier should make boxes when he is not taking orders instead of just standing infront of pos. we ordered cole slaw ($4.99) and it was so small every bite was like $1. Chicken was good but its way too crispy it will hurt your upper gums so i give 1star.

First of all, im Asian. i went here on Sunday.Asian male staff pretend good guy. he promise once chicken come out, will call me but for 40 minutes, there is no call. and there is no tissue, no chopstick, no radish. there was only chilled chicken box remained. i found out that at home. i was so upset. how can it come up without radish?? no chopsticks? not even call back?. after that i felt like chicken taste also weird. even one star feels waste for that.

Had pizza next store at papa Johns, I wish I had gone to bb.q chicken. Are pizzas made in house at papa Johns? Pizzas are like cardboard boxes, bland and i couldnt tell if there was sauce. This is the trend of fast food pizza parlors after Covid, and it will be this way for a long time to come. Remember that this is a papa Johns pizza experience.

I ate half and half of the one with the bone (the seasoning was spicy!)!! I didnt know I would be able to eat warm BBQ in the neighborhood. However, it was a bit disappointing that you couldnt choose from a variety of flavors when it came to bone-in dishes. There are many flavors of boneless meat to choose from...ㅠ

I bought fried chicken at this Gardena store, and it exceeded my expectations and was the best tasting Korean chicken Ive ever had. Whats different from other Korean chicken restaurants is that the chicken pieces are larger, and the owners service spirit is clear., I hope your chicken restaurant becomes a success.

On my way to LAX airport, I usually visit here. I always order Half and Half Boneless with secret spicy. I recommend secret spicy to every one. Its sooo delicious. I wish they sell the sauce of secret spicy in a bottle product separately.Its near the airport, so I often stop by on my way to the airport, and I always get the boneless half-and-half. I highly recommend Secret Spicy. It would be nice if only the secret spice sauce was sold separately as a ready-made product.
