BBQ Chicken Irvine in Irvine

Not the best fried chicken I ever had but not too bad either. The drumsticks were really big. The original crispy chicken was a little bland but got nice crunch. The waffle fries were very delicious. Very clean bathroom available for customers only.

The food is so delicious! Ive loved this spot since 2016. The table are always clean, the staff is very attentive, very friendly and my drinks never dry and chicken always has that glorious CRUNCH! The duck-bokki is my favorite! Give this spot a chance.

Not impressed. Not the worst either. Fried chicken is made fresh to order which is nice. Comes out crispy and reasonably moist. The sauce is whats so so for me. Too mild without a lot of flavor. Additionally it took about 30 minutes to get my SINGLE order of 8 piece chicken and white rice. Got to listen to the two guys working the counter whole waiting so long and thier customer service needs serious work.

Its ok. Im not a huge fan of their fried chicken here. Its a little oily and the breading wasnt too crispy. The chicken was also lower quality so some parts were very chewy. It was so really expensive, $18 for 10 piece nuggets basically. Decided to try it because I was in the area but I didnt like it too much. I might have come back to try something else if the prices were better but currently, its just not worth it.

I had the spicy original wings and cheeslings. The spicy original is about 70% similar to KFCs original hot wings from the 90s and the cheeslings are like popcorn chicken dressed in a cheese-n-yogurt-like powder. Overall it was a good experience, but not a wow, I wanna come back every week or month. Maybe the location has something to do with the prices, but its certainly not a budget friendly place.

Their fried chicken is out of this world. When it’s light and crispy, you know the oil used in frying chicken is fresh. Their side of order of pickled daikon that comes with our Half n Half order is tiny, it’s not even enough for one person let alone for 2 people.

Doordash Order!The order was ready and dispatched quickly. The order was very well packed and prepared. It came with eating plastic utensils and extra napkins.The food was still hot went we received it. And the soda was also nice and chill still!I really enjoyed the chicken, we asked for original chicken. It was nice and crispy on the outside, while soft and juicy on the inside.The Kimchi fried rice was good too. Only thing is that it was a bit too spicy for me (I didn’t know it was spicy). I still ate some of the rice, because it was really good, very good flavor, so I ate as much as I could handle. But my wife really loved it, she loves spicy food.Overall, it was a very good experience. Will definitely come back again, or Doordash it again lol.

The title is a bit confusing since its Korean fried chicken and not barbecue, but for what its worth, this place is the best. The chicken is crisp and all the flavor is on point. As others have said the wait is a bit long, but everything is made to order, so Id say its worth it.Also note worthy is their specials, they have good specials with their friends combo and such which offer chicken a side dish and a pitcher of beer. If youre in for lunch they have a nice simple lunch special which is 2 drum sticks and 2 sides.

I really liked the chicken here before . Recently there seems to have been some change in how the chicken is prepared. Much different from pictures. The chicken batter seems to be a bit on the bready and hard side rather then the flaky and crispy side. I uploaded pictures and a small video here. The picture on the left was how it came out and the picture on the right is how they wish it would come out. What would be cool is if they used a better quality chicken like Jidori. It’s hard to find a restaurant that sells chicken which uses high-quality chicken meat like Jidori.

I used to really enjoy their BB wings but lately their food hasn’t been tasting very fresh. Both the batter either tasted old and whether it’s they’re using old oil or not the freshest ingredients, it tasted bad. There is no flaky crust that they used to have. Also, for delivery orders they don’t give you any radish even with 20 piece chicken order which is nearly $50.
