The bun mam was so watered down. It wasnt that flavorful like Id expect from bun mam. Very disappointed. Their banh bot chien is good and nice and crispy, so was their banh xeo. We were the only ones there but service was so slow and by the time we were done eating, they finally brought out the banh xeo.

This is definitely a family run place, like you are eating in someone house. I personally dont mind it. Had the banh xeo and it is crispy. The pork was toasted just enough. The size is average but I didnt leave hungry, so it was enough. The cafe sua da was a little on the small side tho. Overall, family run hole in the wall with good authentic viet food.

This hidden gem is tucked away in a small plaza just a few blocks from Little Saigon. Restaurant is clean, not too crowded. We ordered their famously known for Vietnamese pancake/crepe and anchovy hot pot. Here is the verdict:- Vietnamese pancake /crepe was delicious. The crispness of the batter was balanced out the softness of bean sprouts, mung bean, slice onions and mushrooms. I like the shrimp here was totally peeled. Yayyy! Slice pork was lean, no fat at all. Very healthy. It served with mixed fish sauce and all the trimmings such as lettuce, various mints... Sooo good. Lol.- Anchovy hot pot. OMG, it reminded me of my moms cooking. Lol. Although the aroma of the anchovy soup is not too strong, however, the taste was all there. The sweetness and saltiness was just perfect. I like the taste of eggplant, lemongrass, pork belly, catfish, shrimp... What can I say. Heavenly good. It also served with lots of trimmings including lemon, lettuce, shredded cabbage, bitter melon (this is new to me, but its oh so good!)My husband, my sister (from Canada) and me, we finished the soup to the last drop. Haha. So satisfied with the food, we also ordered to go their catfish with sour soup, caramelize braised catfish and anchovy noodle soup. They were all good.Service was friendly and attentive. The lady owner even gave us free flan for dessert (it was good too. Seriously.)My family, well definitely come back to try some new dishes next time.

Variety of Vietnamese food. You can try out a lot in 1 spot here:1. Shrimp mini pancakes is a must!2. Vietnamese udon (Banh Canh) is decent.3. Bun Rieu is not good as expected.4. Bun Cha Ca Thang Long is great.I will definitely come back to have casual, quick, delicious meal when Im craving for Vietnamese food. Price is decent for the quality and the amount of food. Good to be a regular spot.

Wow, some of the best Vietnamese food Ive had! Granted, Im not an expert by any means. But this place was delicious.I really enjoyed the banh khot, which isnt on the menu but you know to get it because everyone on Yelp tells you to order it.We also meant to get the banh xeo but go this other fried rice cake instead. It was delicious so we went with it.The cha ca thang long, a sizzling fish dish with dill, was amazing! You must get it.And last but not least, the fish congee was absolutely delicious as well! I know congee is a simple dish, but when made well, its so good. I was also sick at the time, so it was the perfect finish to the meal. Also, bonus points, the owner is super nice. Came to check on us several times and told us stories. I definitely will be back when Im in OC again.

One of the best in Orange County, they specialize in mám, which is a hot soup that has a fermented shrimp or fish paste as a sauce base. Other than that, I come here for banh khot and banh xeo. Their banh xeo is honestly the best Ive had anywhere and it comes with a huge amount of vegetables, exactly how you would get it in Vietnam. You cant really find that dish anywhere else. Prices are good, and the owners are also really nice when we visit.

Very friendly atmosphere when you enter the restaurant. Must try the Banh Khot which is the miniature cup version of the Vietnamese pancake. The shell was crispy and had the usual pancake stuffings on top which gave it a nice flavour kick. Will definitely visit again!

The owner came out and explained what their goals were which is to satisfy your taste buds. If you only had their Pho then you missed so many other dishes. Im Asian and like most people on this planet humans generally nice.Try the Pancake it will blow your mind

Always double check the amount they charge you. A couple years back, i went with my family to this restaurant, and they overcharged us back then. This time, i came with my coworkers, and we got overcharged. My friend also told me he got overcharged here as well. This seem to be pattern. Shady business.
