Beachside Del Mar in Del Mar

I used to LOVE this place. Unfortunately you can tell it’s changed management. The place is wicked dirty, I had to clean the counters before I could fold. No soap in the restroom, which cost a quarter to access. No attendant overnight. Not a bad homeless issue here so it feels safe, but it definitely needs help in the cleaning department. I had issues with the machines not having a rinse cycle. Just kept spinning through the entire cycle (when the rinse light was lit) and then continued during the spin cycle so over 10 minutes of spinning. I had to run my load through a second time to get it rinsed. Also a dryer just ate 2 quarters without crediting me for time. I put in a refund request and received a call 2 days later. Not the worst but really needs some attention. I’ll probably give it some time before I go back.

This place has many different priced machines and sizes, from small washing to a lot of washing, prices I think $275-$4.50,$5.50, and $6.50, I think there is a hire one. Grocery shop, get gas, eat at the many places, CVS, and Starbucks. They have postal boxes there too.

Its a lovely place to walk and then go to the beach

Nice trails and the cars arent obtrusive. Be prepared to be hiking if you go up the trail.

Great fast service. Pumpkin Frappuccino was delicious.

Went to Villa Capri. It is a great place to eat authentic Italian food. The chef and owner is from Naples so you can be sure it is very much like the food you would find there.

Nice Starbucks inside with plenty of space and good seating. Friendly staff and good service. Outside seating is comfortable on their patio. Easy parking with large lot and convinient to other shops in the plaza. One of the nicer SBs in the area.

Del Mar is a little slice of heaven! Great place to shop and eat🤙🤙

Super cool mall with nice eateries and needs. Watch out for the wannabe day-day rent a cop, top flight security. Super abusive and angry to customers, creating an uncomfortable shopping experience. The folks who work in the shops and restaurants are super friendly though
