They are so wonderful! I came in shortly before closing picking up food for my family, they had run put of lo mein but made some special for me. I didnt think I had cash and they are cash only, they offered to let me pay next time but I found money in my car. They were fast friendly and the food is delicious, I found my new spot for Chinese. They definitely deserve their 5 star rating.

If youre looking for freshly cooked, tasty Asian food, this a must try!! Great portions and delicious variety of food thats made daily...almost hourly...because it gets ordered so quickly. Asian style fried chicken! Asian style fried shrimp! Beef and broccoli! Asian style BBQ pork!! If you need to wait on something... the wait is definitely worth it. The people who work here are really friendly and very helpful as well. They always have a smile and are very kind :)

Its so disappointing, I live just down the street from this place. Id be coming here every week if they changed that. For now, Im not coming. $11.70 for tray and order of egg rolls (cash only). My favorite Chinese so far in San Diego. I make sure to always tip. Noodles had a bit too much black pepper, however (this time around). The breading on the wings has a nice crunch unlike some places where it can be soggy…same for the egg rolls. Went around 5pm on a Wednesday and wasn’t busy at all.

I gave this place 3 stars because I ordered chow mein and they had the end pieces of the cabbage included, which wasn’t tasty at all. They’re a cash only spot (like most fast food Chinese spots are) and their orange Chicken tasted a little burnt!

This is going to be one of the most shocking places youre going to get great chinese food for the price. I love Chinese food and san diego doesnt have many place this is a diamond in the rough. Everything Ive gotten has been great and the ladies behind the counter are super sweet. Also you cant beat the price 2 sides with rice and noodles around 8 bucks you cant go wrong.

Solid simple affordable Chinese food. Cash only. 2.79 per item, and they really fill up that styrofoam tray. The bbq boneless ribs were my favorite. Orange chicken is flavorful and rivals panda. Fried rice and Lo mein (or is it chow mein?) noodles are a bit bland but do the trick for a craving. Wish they had cream cheese wontons!

I used to bring my children here all the time and I still come here from time to time and the workers are so nice and theres this one lady that always has pretty red lipstick on. Their food is really good and its a good deal What can you complain about. When my children that dont live in town anymore come into town, we specifically go to two places, one place is a taco shop and the other place is this lol So listen people are coming from up north to come to this place

LOVE this place! Our family has been coming here for years - more than 20, is the best that I can remember! The two ladies serving are no nonsense - theyre there to get you in and out with your food - but they really are sweet on the inside. They both call my mom, Mama. They are extremely generous in their portions, which are now $2.39 each, which is STILL a bargain in comparison to any Chinese restaurant. My moms favorite is the orange chicken, my husbands is the garlic chicken, and I like the whole fried shrimp (the head is the best part!). Actually, we havent had anything we didnt like there so try everything!

Read some good reviews and decided to try. Its the worst Chinese food I ever tasted. Kung pao chicken had no chicken only vegetables, fried rice was mushy, s&s pork tasted freezer burnt, and got 60% cabbage on lo mein noodles order. Sadly all ended up in trash, what a waste of money. Would give zero stars if I could.

This is a hidden gem in Spring Valley! Been coming here for about 5 years now. Super quick, they stack on the food and its very affordable. People working there are nice and get you in and out quick. Such a large turnover in food there that nothing sits too long. This food-line combo plate restaurant has between 8-12 selections, and they are all good. This place is cash only which is a little annoying, but still worth it! Good selection of canned drinks which is nice.

We ordered a lot of food for under $20. Went here based on the reviews & its fairly close to me. I had their hot & sour soup, really good it had a lot of eggs, it was more like hot & sour egg drop soup but very tasty. I will try their egg drop soup next visit. My husband & I had 3 entrees each plus my soup & all were good. We want to try the other entrees when we go back. We will be back again. Cash only but its all good. Lady was friendly. Good food, great pricing & friendly service. For express service this cant be beat. Nothing extra fancy just good Chinese food at great price. Try it, youll be back like us.

I personally rank Chinese food places anywhere I go, and this is my go to place in SD now! Im so happy to have found this diamond in the rough. The value is cheaper and better food than Panda Express (who’s often hit or miss). They don’t skimp on portions either! You seriously will not beat the prices! The workers are always very nice too. It’s small and minimalist, but you can tell it’s owned by a kind, authentic family. Their orange chicken is dark meat with a great balance of soft and crispy, plus flavorful breading and sauce! The fried rice is also wonderful without an overwhelming amount of veggies and more flavor than plain rice that tastes like nothing. My go to for quick and easy Chinese! Definitely a regular for me. Thank you for keeping things affordable while providing good food. Wish they were everywhere, but that’s what keeps them special!

If this is the tiny place that shares a parking lot with ihop, then were talking about the same place. You wont find fresher food anywhere else. Addictive noodles. Perfectly crunchy broccoli in the Broccoli Beef, with tender, yet not mushy beef. The Kung Pao could be spicier, but its flavorful as is. The kids like the crispy goopy Orange Chicken, which, since they make things in small batches, is not soggy. Ive tried everything and I have my favorites, but for American Fast Chinese food, you cant find fresher served up by the lovely ladies.Its not my absolute favorite, but it cant be beat for its location to my house, price, taste & freshness.Cash Only.

This place use to be great years ago but all things change except their menu it was the same after all these years but the food was bland and what I orderd taste the same. They serve fried shrimp tempura with the heads on these are good. The server a young girl was not helpful with extra condiments after ordering 20 in appetizers to go. This is more a neighborhood spot.

The portions are huge! It costs less than 6 dollars with tax to get a stuffed container that can easily feed 2 plus people. The orange chicken is delicious. They have the best teriyaki chicken anywhere! They closed yesterday at 8:30 p.m. however, and I drove all the way from Vista to find that they were closed!! They said they changed their hours. CASH ONLY! But other than that, this small place is amazing. Their food tastes different; Im assuming its what authenticity tastes like. The only drinks they have are canned juices, sodas, and Capri Sun. Their prices are more than reasonable, so Beijing Express can be you guilty pleasure. Parking is easy, given the shared lot, theres small tables inside and outside, or you can take your order to go. Just dont forget that theyre CASH ONLY.
