Appreciate how the staff at this store go above and beyond. Clean. Stocked. The checkout lines move quick. Friendly and helpful. The deli is a great way to stop and get dinner for those nights I just dont want to cook. The offer Chinese, Sandwiches (made to order and delicious), and a variety of fresh pre made 😋 options. Coffee bar. Bakery. Meat counter. Floral. A bit of everything.

Constantly the worst market in town for checkout lines. 15 minutes of shopping and 15 minutes. Im waiting in line. For the prices we pay there. You should never have to wait like that. More man power instead of trying to cut more cost on expensive groceries.

I had to change Markets due to Save Mart changing to a FoodMax. The Bel Air is next closest. Everything is fine except they need to implement extra Cashiers when the lines get long! There were at least 6 people in line to check out with one cash register open, and at the self check you cannot check out with beer!

The Something Extra scam is so dumb. Its a bait and switch scam that now requires you to go online and add their sale items to your account. What sense does this make besides none? Did you do some stupid market research and find out you can scam old people by confusing them? This stores management is incompetent and this is a clear indication of how they view their customers.

Was just in the bel air manzanita and the lines at the only 2 registers were super long. The wait there is awful they never open another register when it’s busy. The front end looks like a daycare center and it runs like too. Waited i the self check today with a few people behind me waiting, and this guy comes up and cuts in front of all of us waiting in line because he had alcohol!!! Well I didn’t think you could do alcohol at the self check but the clerk running the self check said sure and he helped him. Instead of helping the people who follow the rules and waited in line and believe me the customers who use self check need help. But the young man was busy wringing up this dudes alcohol and left us waiting. Safeway is looking better and better everyday!!!

I love this store! Yes the prices are high but they have high quality food. The meat and seafood, and counter is exceptional! The produce is unbelievable! We made nachos with the ingredients we picked up and they were restaurant quality! This is my favorite Bel Air in the 916

This is one of the worst Bel Air/Raley markets in sacramento. The aisles are narrow, always crowded with displays & often employees stocking shelves! It has been here for 45+ years with no major improvements. Unfortunately, its convenient for us. The staff, however, is very nice.

Bel Air Market still has baggers who help you out to your car! This location has always has top notch genuinely friendly, down to earth customer service in every department. This location holds a special place in my heart because I grew up around the corner and worked here when I was 17yrs old. Sushi here is THE BEST. I drive with my family to shop here and support - we live over 6 miles away! And we are doing it again next week! :)

Bel Air is a decent store to shop at, but they should let customers shop in peace. Im autistic and I shop for my mom and myself all the time. I should be able to shop in the store without clerks complaining about my moms squeaking shopping cart. Excuse me if I dont know if the clerks are trying to make small talk with me. Im autistic and I dont do small talk. Im really hoping that Bel Air would be kinder to their disabled customers.I have stopped shopping at Bel Air during the day because I feel threatened by the clerks and because Ive been hit by two customers in the past. I now have bad dreams about clerks hitting me in the store. This particular Bel Air is associated with a LONG HISTORY OF BULLYING. There have been many times I have been bullied on the way to this store. Now in the past few years the bullying has been inside the store. I think that you need better employees who dont bully disabled people or dismiss them when they make complaints about customer who punched them. That includes corporate. DO BETTER.Update: I quit shopping at Bel Air. I just cant shop at a place horrible and disrespectful place. Now I shop at Safeway and Foodmaxx. They are way better than Bel Air, and cheaper too.I can finally shop in peace now.

Just simply put, one of the nicest, cleanest and one of the most helpful staff of all the grocery stores in the area. I love that this Bell Air offers self checkout, regular checkout and a helpful and friendly customer service desk. The selections of foods is on part with local competition. The place since the remodel looks very classy and the raw exposed polished concrete floors are nice. The deli department is very quick to take and fill your order. If you need to buy some food, Id recommend giving this place a try.

Great store! Every interaction with an employee has been good, theyve all been very friendly and helpful. Good sales, often better product selection of niche products plus all the usual things. Good parking lot. Prices are sometimes higher but usually not much, and the sales often make very nice food inexpensive.

This is one of the best of the local Bel air / raleys markets! Bel air has always been a good market but some of them raleys, Bel air have become less desirable. This Carmichael store seems to maintain good selection kind clerks and most of the things that you want to pick up. I have yet to find Clorox wipes at of the raleys Bel air market s. But you got to consider the covid...

Lots of light bulbs out in many freezers. makes it hard to see the products through glass doors and just looks run down. Many employees very new and are learning customer service but are polite. Managers need to do their jobs a little better.

Tonight who ever was working the front end maybe a closing manager could not be bothered she was giggling and so happy with the security guards at the front stares and glared at me while I was in self check out my light was red at my register indicating I needed help she just stared at me until I asked her to please assist. She gave me the dirtiest look you would have thought I was inconveniencing her u had to call her back a second time because she left without fully assisting me the first I had a rewards gift card here next time Ill go out of my way to go to a different store Ive never had such horrible service.

Ive been shopping here for over 6 years, off and on. I have nothing negative to say about the grocery clerks, store cleanliness or how helpful the clerks are.However, I am only giving it this review because of the pharmacy.The techs in the pharmacy used to be nice, friendly and smile when you went in. You could definitely feel the family vibe and that your presence was welcome.Now there are new techs. Horrible!! Rude!! Snappy!! Meds not ready when they say they will be, they roll their eyes when you ask them how long, long line wait times. They are always out of stock of one need that I pick up and I have to wait 2-3 days to get it. Its a med that I get every 30 days. When Im out, it causes an issue with my body chemistry. Ive even enrolled in their auto refill database.It would be nice to get the other techs back, but alas.. just a dream Im sure

The level of dedication that Bel Air has to the customer experience is top notch. They have the most friendly employees in every department that Ive encountered, and Ive encountered a lot- I work in the grocery industry and intentionally shop here for all my meat+seafood and bakery items. The store is always clean, the shelves are always faced and organized, and the check out experience is stellar customer service, Id venture to say their standard is the embodiment of attentive customer service. Now, they are on the pricey side compared to other grocers, but youre getting a better experience than other options.

Cant give a place zero stars is not cool. My wife was walking through the store looking for the baby isle while pushing our stroller with our newborn baby sleeping in it and she was followed the entire time by their security team until they came behind her and helped themself to see if there was a baby or not. When they saw there was a baby they were shocked and quickly left us alone. This is absolutely absurd to me that this happen. Who do you even talk to about this. Google Reviews I guess. Trying to find the name of their security and the persons responsible.

The pastry department is disorganized, short staffed, and the pastry glass case is always dirty. It should be wiped down every day.The last month has been the worst. The staff looks stressed out, and annoyed. On two separate osscasions, Ive gone there about 10:30am, and there is only one employee available. One female made it a point to tell me she was by herself and busy when I ask about some cookies that they sell. She didnt bother to see if she had any in the back. Yesterday, the same attitude. Its not there fault if they are trying to shelve products and help customers. As much as they charge us for food, they should be better then Walmart.

One of the nicer Bel-Airs. It looks like theyre starting to allow small groups to dine in at the bakery. Pretty clean and the aisles are pretty spacious. I can tell that the Raley family had this building made and didnt have to gut a pre-existing one. Staff is friendly and you dont have to wait long if you need help. Just, treat them how you want to be treated. Why annoy someone who touches your food?

Usually the meat here is excellent. I bought a ribeye roast because it was on sale today. I believe it was 6.97 a pound. I expected the same quality regardless of a sale but it was far inferior compared to normal. However still really good service here and the staff are excellent.

Great store in a great location. But some of the staff may need to be re trained on customer service. My pregnant wife and I got to the register and the cashier asked what kind of bags we wanted. My wife said we didnt need any and that we had our own bag. The cashier in a very rude way said you need to read this because clearly you didnt read our sign out front pointing at a sign saying personal bags are not allowed due to COVID. We clearly did not and as we were leaving even looked again and noticed the incredibly small sign on the door at this location was being blocked. We understand the seriousness of the nature and had we seen it, we would have left our bags in the car. We are new home owners in the area and it left a bad taste in our mouths for the store after that happened. There is always a way to speak to customers and that was not it.

I love coming here for our grocery and produce needs. The customer service is absolutely excellent! And I love that their registers accept Apple pay and Android pay. The something extra rewards program is great. They send you coupons based on the items you purchase the most. I even use the pharmacy here for all our prescription needs. It can get a little busy sometimes but they try to get you in and out quick. I think the store is a little pricey at times but there are good sales and their customer service makes it a really great experience.

Friendly employees when picking up preordered turkey dinner. Only one issue was there electric handicapped shopping carts. Once I sat down I was literally trapped. I wasnt able to retrieve any items off the shelves and had to ask others shopping to hand me items that were out of reach. When I finished shopping and was at my vehicle it took at least five minutes to get out of the cart because the steering column is to close to the seat and doesnt allow a person to get their leg through this area of the cart. I had to take off my shoe and was finally able to twist my foot enough to get my leg to the other side. Then I had to use the opening on the back of my vehicle for leverage to pull myself up to a standing position. The employee helping me asked if he could get my 2 canes for me that I had learned against my vehicle during this embarrassing ordeal. He was very helpful. Bel Air needs to update their electric carts to a larger model like the other stores have, such as Walmart, Safeway, Costco, Trader Joes and Joanns Fabric store.

I love this Bel Air, I often find my self here while I am at my mother in laws house. They have friendly service and the store is laid out nicely. The Asian section is not bad and I can find mostly what I need to cook a fine meal. The produce section is and Ive never had a problem with anything I purchase here. I love all Bel Air stores. They are clean, attractively organized, and they have great produce. Also a good selection of vegetarian, vegan, and organic foods. Great deli and bakery, too. A little pricey, but if you use your Raleys/Bel Air card when you check out, youll accumulate points towards coupons and dollar(s) off certificates.

The cakes at this place are phenomenal, Ive been ordering them for parties for 10 years now and they are just as incredible as always. Marble cake with whipped cream frosting is enough for you to feel like your time on earth was complete. Yo. My tastebuds stay shook.

Every Bel-Air/Raleys is different when it comes to stocked items, one always has another doesnt. Frustrating. Organic Raleys cold pressed Pear juice is hardly ever in stock at some locations especially the Fair Oaks n Walnut location closest to home. Hope mgmt reads these.

This particular Bel Air has everything for the serious cook and more. Their produce department is well maintained, clean and well stocked with a good organic section. The deli has many gourmet items to choose from. Expect to pay higher prices here, but in many ways it is well worth the trip when you want outstanding goods and friendly customer service

Bel Air has taken their gluten free products and incorporated them together with all the non gluten free products. It now takes 4 times longer to go grocery shopping. Plus, when I shop I dont want to have to look through all the products I cant eat to find the one that I can. An additional note 8s that when previously I went to the gluten free section I always found other products I wanted to try. In my shopping experience today I gave up because I couldnt find the gluten free items.I should just call in my order and make your people find them, but I will probably go elsewhere.

The best attribute about Raleys & Bel Air is you can always go to an employee & get answers to a question(s). Fans of fresh sushi/sashimi will enjoy the choices just after the bakery section. The Manzanita Blvd location has self-scanners which are a faster checkout if you have a smaller number of purchases or when the store is busier. Most of the fresh produce items are @ opposite end (of the store). The cust SVC counter remains closed (due to COVID-19). There is a pharmacy.

This review applies ONLY to Bel Airs holiday Prime Rib Dinner.Overall, Bel Air/Manzanita is always a positive shopping experience. Its produce and meat usually surpass its competitors, and the Manzanita store has some exceptional folks working in its grocery sections.After 3 days in a row of hosting family holiday dinners, we decided to give ourselves a break and purchased Bel Airs Prme Rib Dinner. We carefully read the directions for temperatures and cooking times, and anticipated a tasty, carefree meal. Unfortunately, this was not to be. Carefree yes; tasty, no.The scalloped potatoes were a disappoinment; especially when compared to Costcos equivalent offering. Rather bland. The sweet potato casserole was another fail. While its arils and pecans added a colorful touch, it too, was bland. Finally melted a tablespoon of butter, mixed with a teaspoon of maple syrup, and a light sprinkling of salt and pepper to liven them up a bit. The brocollini was adequate.The biggest disappointment of all was the prime rib itself. We cooked it medium rare, expecting a juicy, tender entree, testing it with a meat thermometer, and removing it from the oven at 120 degrees. Then, as per instructions, let it sit for 10 minutes. Instead, we ended up eating the toughest prime rib weve ever had.Many/most oven-cooked prime rib recipes recommend cooking the roast at 500 degrees for the first 10-15 minutes to sear the meat, then lower the temperature to 325-350 degrees for the remainder of the cooking time. Bel Airs instructions stated to cook it at 350 degrees in its entirety; therefore, not allowing it to sear and seal in its juices as it cooked. Perhaps this is why it was so tough??We had high hopes for this dinner. With this latest Covid variant, it is not easy to dine out for a nice meal; however, this was no substitute, and sadly, definitely not a repeat.

Went in for a mocha to the Peet’s counter which a clerk said was open. Nobody ever came even after ringing the bell. Then I asked a cashier who called someone to come up. Still nobody came. But the cashier also never cared that it was followed up on. Three cashiers were talking with each other. I also spend money shopping in here but this experience makes it worth it for me to take the slightly longer trip to Whole Foods instead. This is not the first time I had the experience that stocking shelves and chit chatting was more important than patronage.

Every time my husband gets a prescription filled here I have to wait forever. Then when I get my turn they have to rerun the prescription because they didnt have our current insurance. So the pharmacist or tech reruns it, places on top of the cabinet. Then the Clerk after helping two other customers who came in after me, tells me to stand in line again. I get in line again behind another two people to get his prescription. Unbelievable! Theres one clerk in front and three people behind the glass window. WOW! Twenty five years ago I worked for Raley Superstores in the Pharmacy department we never made our customers wait for almost an hour to get their prescription or stand back in line again, ever.

I absolutely *love* this store! This one in particular is the only grocery store I have ever regularly gone to in my life that has enough cashiers at least 90% of the time, whereas Safeway and Smart n Final somehow cant afford 1 extra cashier during rush hour when the average sale MUST be $50 MINIMUM -___-Anyways...the staff here are wonderful and kind. They make the sushi there fresh daily, so even though store sushi has a bad rep (deservedly), I have frequently purchased the sushi here and was at least satisfied with the quality. They also sell side items in small portions as well as a variety of sandwiches and other typical quick eats that other stores neglect to carry, or if they do, its days old and starting to look strange...Word of warning, stay out of the way of the old ladies. Theyll run you over and/or scrape your ankles, unless you are also an old lady..

It was a pleasant shopping trip and wonderful to find a quality store in the middle of Carmichael and Fair Oaks. Super watermelons just now and they were dessert after some meatballs from the deli which are excellent anyway you serve them. Bellaire has very good produce to little bit on the high side but they do also have quality meat. I wish they had a little bit more options with grass fed meat. But other than that my experience a billiard Bel-Air has always been pretty nice . I went here and we got some cakes and sodas.

Always very courteous & helpful workers. The store I visit every Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings is located near my dialysis center. One of the patients is blind & they go out of their way to help my friend. They even always walk her down for her treatment. Thats really very nice of their management to allow someone to go to that extent to be helpful. I might also add that we all appreciate the fact that they allow us a cup of ice too. This review is only for the Chinese deli!!! I used to visit this deli years ago when I loved nearby and thought it was poor back then. I visited yesterday and see that it has not changed one bit. The beans were almost inedible--stringy and fibery. Had to spit out. The chicken is always full of grisle and fat. They dont even bother to cut to fat off-something an even mediocre restaurant would do. They seriously need to improve this place for the standards of the Raleys brand. Never going back😡

I was told by the grocery police I couldnt bring my backpack into the store, but women can because they need to carry feminine things and men have to make due with a wallet and their pocket. Well, I walk around town I need to be able to carry things like water, which I was there to buy, and the face masks I am using for the day. And if I kept my wallet in my pocket, it would get wet with sweat and then the store wont take my money. Mostly I go to Raleys-Bel-Air for the diverse foods and brands that are not available at discount stores such as Brownie Brittle cookies. The majority of my groceries such as common fruits, vegetables and meats I get at Winco for the lower prices. Raleys and Bel-Air has a diverse selection of foods, great tasting hot and cold food in the deli section including pasta and vegetable salads and nice menu of chinese food for take out.

Weve gone here a couple times to get our prescriptions filled, but this evening there was a new pharmacist working behind the counter. My wife was prescribed a pain med, and first she fought with my wife that our express scripts wasnt accepted there (not true), she then said she didnt feel comfortable giving my wife her pain med prescription without speaking to the doctor who had prescribed it. After some more verbal back and forth (all while my wife is in terrible tooth pain) she finally told my wife to come back in 20 minutes, which she did and was then informed that she didnt have enough of the pain med to fill the prescription and asked her to leave as she was closing in half an hour and sent my wife away. We wont be going here for our prescriptions again.Update: have still been going here for groceries, but I kid you not, several of their products have been out of stock for almost a month now. Basic stuff like major brands of butter and soda. Just empty spots on the shelf with price tags. They apparently dont spend much time actually taking inventory and reordering empty products. Think Ill start going to Safeway across the street.

I have shopped at this Bel Air since 1992 and love everything about it. However, a new pharmicist appears to have been hired, and if you call in and happen to get her, when others are on break, there is quite a bit of misinformation. We have a mentally ill son, and we have gotten erronerous info from her, where if we call back later, Francisco, Juan or Stacey manages to handle the problem. If lunch breaks require the pharmacist to answer phones and questions, they should be well trained in the search system. Never had a problem when Phil was there. BTW, we love your store and will continue to shop there, but the pharmacy has issues. Have talked to others waiting for meds who do complain about long waits and confusion. This can be nerve wracking if you are expecting meds for yourself or a family member. Thank you
