Bel Air in Yuba City

I really love this BelAir. The produce section is always clean. The meat department is great but closes too soon. When I go in at 520 pm and cant get things done, that is frustrating to me. I am there to get my dinner stuff. The staff in the meat department are nice though. The meat quality is awesome. The bakery does very well with our orders.

The butcher cut up my spareribs into cube size; very accommodating. But the sizzling pot Chinese food was undesirable: chow mein for tourist, sweet and sour pork so bland, mushroom chicken yucky. Some of the seaweed in the sushi so chewy, it went into the trash!

I visited 2 times this week, November 1 &2, 2023. I went to the deli to try a meal deal of chicken strips and sides on the 1st. The store has no method of who is next. The 2 clerks behind the counter ignored me for 20 minutes, and rude customers wouldnt acknowledge I was next. Till finally, 2 ladies came up and made it clear to the clerk I was next because again, I was being ignored. These ladies even told the clerks they use to own a restaurant, and if they caught them treating a customer like this, they would be fired! Needless to say, I waited 21 minutes for help. I then went to get pastries and again ignored for 9 minutes. Finally a female clerk showed up and unhappily took my order. She then preceeded to talk with the other clerks who prior ignored me. over my pastries with no food mask and her mouth wide open. She handled my pastries with her bare hands and NO GLOVES!! On Nov 2nd I went again to get a sandwich. The young man here kept a 14 minute conversation with a lady customer slowly making her 1 sandwich. Then another male customer showed up, and he waited on him before me. Again, ignoring me for 6 more minutes. I again went to get a pastry and waited 4 minutes alone to get help. Again this clerk started a conversation with the other clerks talking over my pastries and wearing no gloves. The health department needs to enforce safety close on this Bel Air and give them fines. I will not be returning for a while maybe they will hopefully fix this. I felt discriminated against and after seeing them serve my pastries twice with no gloves gross. So shoppers make sure they wear gloves if you go there and speak up to get service because Bel Air has bad service in their DELI!

Check to make sure the cashiers aren’t getting finger happy when charging for those .10 bags and tossing those vegetables down the lane like it’s league night. Facility is always clean and stocked but when the last impression on your way out is how the cashier handles things, it really leaves the transaction on a bad note.

BEL AIR, YUBA CITY: Even though I live a good 20 minutes away from this supermarket (not too busy traffic) I come here to do some specialized grocery shopping. Especially for things like bakery goods, some fine wines, sometimes for large or whole hams, Ive even come here for some plants I knew they had (like hyacinths), you know, things like that. Today I came to get my son a birthday cake--he loves their German Chocolate Cake.So, after church my husband and I came over to Bel Air and decided to get a quick bite of lunch at the deli--some Peking pork and fried rice for me and Peking Pork and noodles for my husband. Because we were hungry, we wanted to eat a little something 1st, before stepping over next door, to get the cake. We sat down in open dining area and felt quite comfortable eating before we got up to get the cake. There virtually was no one in the dining area and we had the place to ourselves until another other couple came to eat. We had our drinks and we had plenty of time to finish our meal before getting our cake; it was almost like getting take out, but with the luxury of dining in.One of the things I like about Bel Air is how much variety they have; and while I didnt need to take too much advantage of the variety today, its 1 of the biggest advantages of shopping here. I took quite a few pictures just one end of the store. I didnt bother to go to the other half of the store today because I didnt need to. So, sorry I didnt shoot the other half of the store for you guys--you know where the flowers and dairy products and so forth are, so sorry about that. Ill have to catch that for you later.As far as that goes, I didnt even go down the aisles, I just shot from the ends of the store. But at least you can get an idea of the spaciousness and the variety of things as they are laid out.The one thing I really dont care for about Bel-Air is the restrooms. At least they have handicap restrooms and are big enough to let handicapped persons in the restrooms, but, they are not all that modern nor are they as clean as I would like. They do at least have toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and running water, and electricity. I have been in some restrooms were some of these things were in short supply. Bel Air, at least has all of these items. Yes, I think they should spend a little bit more time on the restrooms, but everything else in the store is clean. Especially around their food area and their dining areas--those areas are nice and they are clean and Im not afraid to sit there or eat there or buy food there--but the restrooms definitely need some work. At least I dont cringe when I walk into the restrooms. All in all, I think the store easily earns 4 stars.

I love this store! The best meat, the best bakery, and the best customer service! I get all my children’s birthday cakes here. I also signed up online and during your birthday month you get a free cupcake from the bakery as well as a free box mix of cake and a hallmark card! If you have kids ask to get a free balloon for them, and keep them entertained and happy while you shop! They also offer free fruits for kids which I love because some stores offer sugary cookies, and it just makes me feel like this franchise really cares about our children’s health! Thank you Bel-Air!

Bel Air although known for being a bit pricey... and they are at times, sure has some good prices on certain things that I love like this healthy breakfast! I just keep an eye on their sales and special items. The deli is amazing. It always smells so wonderful when I walk into the store the Soaps and natural products in the produce!

First time here. Internet said the Asian Wok place was open till 8. Sign when I got there said it was open till 8. I was there at 745 and it was closed down and and basically cleaned. Guy who worked confirmed it closes at 8. But that he is going home. I get people wanting to go home but if you’re going to do that just say you close at 7.

Great place for your shopping list needs, Wells Fargo Inside market and post office. All kinds of foods, beverages and so much more. Disabled parking section and electronic doors.
