Had a great time with our chef Nicholas. Spicy chicken is definitely my favorite. Love the chicken in the fried rice too. The passionfruit lemonade was delicious. I enjoyed the soup too but it was only mildly warm. Overall ended up being about $40 a person for lunch with tax and tip. Well worth it.

Wanted to wait until our second time visiting this location as our first time was close to when they opened their location, and due to a shortage of chefs and servers we were delayed 20 minutes in getting seated despite a reservation. However, during our most recent visit (a week after our first) our party of 9 was seated promptly. On both occasions once we were seated the service was excellent. On our most recent visit on a Saturday for lunch, our server Trish provided amazing service and displayed a lot of patience and kindness with all five of the children in our party. Our chef Nicholas was very entertaining and did a wonderful job with the food. On both occasions my wife started with the lobster roll sushi which is quickly one of her favorite sushi rolls at Benihana. Our hibachi steaks were very tender and juicy, and the shrimp was very plump and grilled to perfection. My favorite Benihana dish is the Splashn Meadow (hibachi steak and jumbo shrimp), and both times at this location it was just how I liked it!You need to MAKE A RESERVATION to dine here as both times we went, people that tried to dine as walk-ins were not able to be accommodated. You can make a reservation via Open Table or through the Benihana website.Very family friendly with a good selection on their kids menu. The kids menu doubles as a paper chefs hat. Both of my boys enjoy the cookies and cream milkshake that they serve here. The prices are a bit high, but in my opinion you get what you pay for here. A very enjoyable and entertaining dining experience that we will be coming back to for future special occasions...very happy to finally have a Benihana in the Temecula area!

As a lifelong fan of Benihana since the Rocky Aoki days, Im thrilled to share my experience at their brand new location in Temecula, California. Located in the former Souplantation building near the bustling Promenade Mall, Benihana Temecula is a gem that shines bright in the culinary landscape of our town. From the moment we stepped in, the familiar Benihana charm and familiar aromas enveloped us. The décor, an elegant blend of modernity and tradition, set the perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. But what truly made our visit special was the exceptional customer service. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service, making our rather long wait seem short and making us feel valued and welcomed. The lounge reminded me a bit of the Newport Beach location, although there is no separate bar and separate sushi bar at this one. It is a great place to sit and enjoy an appetizer or cocktail if there is a long wait. I think they made great use of the original architecture and space with minimal changes to the structure of the interior. The highlight of our visit, however (besides the delicious food), was the teppanyaki performance. For the first time at any Benihana, we had the pleasure of being served by a female chef! Her skillful maneuvers and humorous touches were nothing short of spectacular, adding a refreshing touch to the Benihana tradition. Celebrating my birthday with her at the helm of the hibachi grill made the occasion even more memorable. Its wonderful to see Benihana embracing diversity and breaking the norms with a female hibachi chef. Our dishes were tastier than I remember! The new Benihana in Temecula is such a great addition to our town. It retains the classic Benihana excellence while adding its unique flair. If youre a long-time fan like me or new to the Benihana experience, this location is a must-visit. Its more than just a meal; its a celebration of culture, skill, exceptional hospitality, and family-style dining. Expect a long wait unless you make reservations!Visited: November 5, 2023 Dinner

Our server Trish was awesome! She was very welcoming. When she went on break though the server that was taking over for her didnt check on us so that was a minus considering we wanted to order another drink. Our cook Martin was fun to watch, but I believe he put too much salt on the meats. I am sensitive to too much salt, but my spouse agreed as well that it was too salty. Other than that, it was a fun experience and the price isnt bad. Definitely take your family and friends for a good time.

Fun entertainment while eating good food.I brought my young kids here. Their minds were occupied with chef cooking in front of us which made act appropriate. They loved watching the chef who interacted with them.

I wanted to share my experience of benihanas. When I arrived at benihanas I was greeted courteously and professionally.Early in the meal we had a soup and some fried rice. The cook performed various tricks.I tried the crispy rice, hibachi steak, and a red plum sake sangria. The crispy rice taste amazing in the sauce that it came with was excellent. Almost sweet sesame seed flavor came through.Hibachi steak I had prepared medium well.It was well-prepared tasted excellent obviously if you like steak would probably like this. Now as far as the red plum sake sangria.I usually like a little bit of sake with some sushi. The sake sangria had clearly you know what wine tastes but you could taste the sake and it was clear sweet and a very well-rounded drink.Overall I think benihanas has a distinct competitive advantage to allot of restaurants in Temecula because the quality per price is absolutely worth it.Perfect for the family or friend get together. Or even if you are bored hungry and want to savor a beautiful experience. As a result of the aforementioned reasons I highly recommend benihanas.

I wont be visiting again.Dated decor and average food for a premium price. All of the sea food has a distinct fishy taste. We were seated, orders taken, given soup, and then told it would be 30 minutes until our chef would arrive. Their idea of compensation was 4 dumplings for 3 people. We didnt even get a choice and I dont like dumplings.Maybe make sure you have a chef before you take their orders partially serve them. Then give them a laughable compensation.Id rather take the trip to San Diego or Orange County and get better food at a cheaper hibachi grill. Or Shogun, if I absolutely couldnt leave the area.
