Update on the brunch..service was terrible by Alexis. Several minutes waiting for service and water. She never checked on us or the food. The only time she really talked to us was giving us our check. My mocktail came out after my food and the food was not great. We had the biscuits and gravy and crab omelette and I would not recommend either. The brunch menu was limited and no hash browns. I would not return for lunch only happy hour in the future.Service was great from Carly. Started with a spice dream mocktail and ordered several items off the happy hour menu. HH is everyday I believe 2-6. The flautas were my favorite along with the shrimp/chips we will be back to try out brunch!

Went in for brunch and something was off with the vibe? Wasnt able to figure out what. The staff didnt seem happy...maybe everyone was waking up after a late night? The place is definitely popular. Our server was personable but the table service timing seemed off.We got the huevos rancheros, which was good but just needs some fresh cilantro, and the corned beef hash. For $19 the hash needs more work - the eggs and veggies were cooked perfectly however the corned beef was chewy (I do appreciate the portion size) and the whole plate needs some seasoning. Herb up the potatoes, maybe smoke the corned beef, it needs something to kick up the flavor.

Excited to have a bennetts closer to home, especially in an area that is otherwise dominated by more cookie cutter type restaurants. For the mostpart the food we ordered was good, not great. Prices are fair. The downside is that the French fries tasted like the kind that come out of a freezer bag. Ill definitely go back as there are a few other things I want to try.

Everything the Bennetts do is gold. Love their local growing chain. Been to all their restaurants multiple multiple times and always a great experience all around. Im super excited because this location is the closest one to my house now. Excellent quality food. High quality, chef quality. Ive seen some other less than great reviews on here. Thats not a typical Bennetts experience. If anything its because this location JUST opened. If you havent been here yet or to any of their other locations you are missing out. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

First-time customers for Thanksgiving. Turkey dinner was good. Beef filet was good but tasted as if cooked with onions and asparagus was a bit tough. Service was friendly if a bit slow at times. Prices and quantities are good. Most folks would probably really like this restaurant. Give them a try to see for yourself.

I remember when this place used to be a Chevys Mexican restaurant, home of the $5 Happy Hour margaritas, which were $3 even before this Chevys opened. Anyway, I finally ventured out to this neck of the woods again and was happy with my experience at Bennetts Westside Grill.Service was great and the restaurant was pretty busy on a Monday night, so that tells me to expect something good. I ordered the cedar plank salmon and it didnt disappoint! It had a delicious medley of flavors and if there was one thing I could change, I would have liked the salmon itself to be cooked less.I also had the chicken tortilla soup, which had a nice kick to it, but the tortilla chips that were on the side were super salty. But brushing off the extra salt and tossing them in the soup solved that problem.

We have been there three times since it opened. We used to go to the Roseville establishment. We always had a great time every time that we were there. The new West side grill is so awesome, of course its new so there will be some growing pains. But our three visits, were as good as being at the Roseville restaurant, but now its around the corner from where we live. Thanks Bennetts for being here in Rocklin. Nothing like the Mussels with the extra side order of toasted Cristini, Cheers.....

Really good food. Straddling fine dining flavors with a casual atmosphere. I am pretty sure we were surrounded by people on dates. Youngish and of a certain ageThe cocktails were good. Heavy pour by design. But not overly so. Fresh ingredients made it worth it.

I went here for a 25th anniversary dinner with my parents. Lauryn, our server, was the best. I appreciate her patience with my family. Shes also really funny! This girl deserves a raise.They accommodated our anniversary requests, too! The food was phenomenal. My only complaint is that they need a new bartender! All of our cocktails were mediocre at best.

The newest restaurant in the area boasts of a luxurious interior as well as a heated covered patio dining area. I ordered the prime rib dinner with mashed potato, which was a generous serving. Our server, Lauren, was very attentive and she made our first time visit a memorable dining experience. She invited us to try out Bennetts during happy hour, too. Bennetts is a lovely place. Until our next visit!

Ive been here a couple of times. Its a nice, upscale bar and the food and drinks were good. Jade has been by far the best server Ive dealt with! She was super nice and made me feel right at home! My husband and I frequent Bennett’s a lot, we love their happy hour and regular nights as well! Their food is really good and tastes homemade!!! Today, we went in for their 2 for 44 brunch and the manager Sara was the nicest, most accommodating person ever. Our server Tiffany was right behind with amazing service. So grateful for a wonderful restaurant so close to us!!!

Came in to eat with my lady friend and i had my taste buds set on the French dip, but our server Austin sold us both on the Cedar Plank Salmon and it was absolutely AMAZING! And so was his service, very attentive, friendly, and he seemed really happy to be doing his job, he said this is the best restaurant hes ever worked for, and it shows! Great experience all the way around we will definitely be coming back!

Ive always been a fan of Bennetts in Rocklin for a while, amazing food variety, good deals, fast service, and friendly staff. The new location is great, especially considering it just opened! While the environment is almost spot; well, let me explain being in the bar, and the main dining room is perfect; However, Ive used one of the private rooms for a large party. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, but the flickering lights and temperature in the room threw off the ambiance. All around nearly perfect.

Service and communication with staff was excellent. Attentive yet not intrusive at all. We ordered the chicken enchiladas and the ribs and chicken plate. Attention to detail in presentation of each entree was outstanding. Each plate had a generous portion and was flavorful. We will most definitely be coming back to this wonderful restaurant.

I made a reservation online but I had the wrong location. The hostess was very nice and found us a table anyway. The food was really good. We had the Tempura Shrimp appetizer, I had the Mahi Tacos, my wife had the Mussels and we shared the butter cake for dessert. There still seems to be a little confusion on which table the food goes to though. They brought out fish tacos and gave them to me but it was for a different table. They took them back to the kitchen and made fresh tacos for the table behind us which we were glad to see. I didn’t touch them but still. Shortly after our food arrived. It was hot and tasty. We will definitely be going back!

We went with my husband for a Saturday dinner and loved the new location.Atmosphere and the food was great.We had the cauliflower gratin as an appetizer which was amazing! My husband had the steak and I had a salad, both the manager Sara and Mr. Bennett came to check on us, everybody was very hands on and attentive.Our server Sadia made sure we always had our drinks full.Butter cake is a must have as a dessert!!

We recently celebrated a friends 50th birthday and there were six of us. The restaurant was very accommodating allowing me to decorate the table in advance. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly (which is not always the case with large parties). So many things on the menu tempted me but I finally settled on the cedar plank salmon which was cooked to perfection (not dry and over cooked at all). I was really worried the food might be hit and miss since they havent been open long but everything was delicious! Six people and not one person was unsatisfied with anything they ordered. Two people had the chimichurri steak with frites and their fries are simply irresistible! Their key lime pie was touted by the table as the best everyone has ever had. I cant wait to return and try more things.

The ambiance is comforting. The prices were high. Not the most comforting food! Especially the very bland deserts that had no taste and were very dry. The banana pudding and chocolate cake were tasteless and priced more than the meal. At $14 a piece I would never order these items again.I had heard great things about Bennetts but I consider the location horrible because of the tight parking and the food is priced way too high . A trendy place for the trendsetters.And don’t order the deserts they are tasteless and the crust is nothing but flour and water.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The server Shondra was great. She was so attentive to all of our needs and treated us like she had known us for years. Best service I’ve received in a really long time. Food was hot, prepared well and presented well. The night was a total success. The only negative was a manager named Sarah. We could hear and see her being mean to employees. She was doing her job she just needed to be nicer. I will return. They also have great deals on Mondays.

Realizing they have only been open a few days…the clam chowder was flavorful and hearty, but cold and no crackers. The prime rib was well seasoned and not too fatty, but cold. The accompanying mash potatoes were buttery and had great texture, but were cold. No bread comes with your meal. I’m sure this will tighten up once they are open a bit longer, but room for improvement.

Our party of 8 enjoyed prime rib, New York steak, pork chop, Korean bahn mi sandwich, chicken Cesar salad and a few other things I dont recall. All were delicious except for one which they quickly made right.Drinks are pricey but stiff and well made. Service was outstanding (Malik was our server).Our whole party agreed that wed do it again. However it is something we will reserve for special occasions. Try them out. You wont be disappointed

Had lunch at the Rocklin location today. Admosphere was amazing. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious, big portions and very fresh. I had the beet salad. It hadpurple and gold beets! Goat cheese, fresh lettuce and (I dont like ginger) a ginger seasomey dressing that was outstanding! Cant wait to go back.

Service was a little slow because our waiter was also handling a large group of women (10 or 12) who each wanted detailed descriptions of the menu items and then, after all of them ordering, casually mentioned that they wanted separate checks. We felt so sorry for him that we just relaxed and let him know we were in no hurry and we understood his situation. Other staff noticed his predicament and stepped in to help get us drinks and deliver our orders to the table. It was Sunday brunch and there was a 49ers game on in the bar area which made for a very rowdy bar crowd that were so loud we couldnt carry on a conversation. I would not recommend eating there on a Sunday during football season unless you really like a noisy, sports bar vibe. Too bad the bar is right in the middle of the restaurant so theres no escaping the noise.

Have been to the location on Eureka so was excited to try this one -much closer to my home. I started out and ordered the quiche. What I got looked more like a pot pie-lots of crust. I was expecting a slice of quiche. I took one bite and it was very cold on the inside & crust was undercooked. I let our server know & he quickly took it back and I changed my order to have avocado toast (since I have enjoyed that at the other location). They did quickly bring the avocado toast, which I was also disappointed with. The avocado did not appear to be fresh. Rather than having slices or chunks, it was smashed like guacamole, and had a citric acid taste to it. Reminded me of the smashed avocado you can buy in the grocery store. The bread that it’s on is very good, although they were very small pieces, and the salad it came with was good. Our server was pleasant, but he did seem inexperienced, not really sure what he was doing. Additionally, my coffee cup handle had a large chip out of it and a crack. And my husband’s coffee cup had a large chip around the rim. I got my coffee, got the cream a little later but nothing to stir it with. The decor of the restaurant was very nice. I actually liked it better than the other location, but the food and the staff will have some room for improvement. Hopefully I can return & the kinks will be worked out.

12:15 arrival lunch on a weekday with no reservation, immediately seated our party of 3. Frequent, cheerful service provided every few minutes. Pacific redfish lunch entree ($23) included two 1/4 to 1/2 lb fillets coated with a dry seasoning mix, like a blackened catfish with more salty than sweet or tart flavor, although a seared lemon half came on the side. Garlic topped cooked spinach (not crunchy). No starch side in this entree.2nd lunch visit - A Thursday, still not crowded at lunch. House smoked salmon (!) Served as 1 thick filet, barely reddened, moist, clear smoke odor, easily dismantled with a spoon, unique in my experience.

Poor experience. My wife and I came for Sunday brunch (at 9:15am they had just opened) approx. 10 other customer already seated. Staff were unorganized, everyone walking around with no urgency or purpose. Slow to get service, slow to get basic questions answered about the menu. My crab omelet arrived 20min after ordering and my wifes food arrived another 8 minutes later? Waitress blamed the kitchen “they are busy?” Every meal that came out of the kitchen was 1 plate at a time and the staff carried the food around to each table asking if they had order it? Never seen anything like it.The food; I ordered a new item Dungeness crab omelet with their house smashed potatoes -- just a basic looking egg omelet on a plate with potatoes = nothing appealing (could have been Denny’s) Really? -- I thought it was their special -- how about some appeal? Add some crab to the top, avocado or at least some green onions would have gone a long way? The omelet had good flavor but not fantastic, the smashed potatoes were soggy and bland…nothing special. Wife got the corned beef hash which was pretty good (a little wet almost stew like?). The bill came and our $44 special was written up as $54? Had to flag down the waitress for a correction. She again blamed someone else “I asked them to fix this” my question is did you proof it before you dropped it on our table and walked away? We are a neighbors and walked over for brunch and we were very excited and left disappointed. Good Luck Bennett’s, hope things get better.

For the price this was the worst burger I had in my whole life. I would have been disappointed if I spent 5 dollars but they charge $19. Everything was way over salted. The atmosphere is depressing. I think a lot of people like this kind of food though and alcohol which is why it has the rating it does. For your money you will find much better food and vibe at Lazy Dog or Dennys.

I am in love with Bennett’s newest location in Rocklin, although I love all of their locations. We actually had a reservation the first night they opened and while we had to wait a bit for our table, the bartenders were on point with cocktail service. The food, wait staff, and ambiance was incredible. I am gluten intolerant and I love all of their GF options. Everything tastes great which keeps me coming back for more. I love their clam chowder and their jalapeño corn bread! MMMMMM! I highly recommend visiting any Bennett’s location if you haven’t been. It’s perfect for a date night, girls night out, or dinner with the family.

My wife and I enjoyed our recent meal there. I have mostly positive things to say about them. This was our second time here.Ill get the negative report out of the way first.1. On both visits, I ordered coffee and it was served tepid. They were both in the afternoon, but still, it should be hot and fresh.2. I was interested in the cheeseburger with black pepper aoli. It consisted of a soft bun, very thin patty, and typical veggies. I couldnt detect the black pepper aoli. It wasnt bad in any way. It just wasnt what I was hoping for. I like a thick juicy patty.Positives.1. The lemon crem brulee was unforgettable. My wife had the banana cream pie. It was a huge piece so I asked for a bite. It was ideal 👌.2. The restaurants are very clean and appealing. They are staffed very well with competent people.3. We look forward to our next visit there.

The staff seemed to be on a learning curve and orders were slow to arrive. The choice of steaks was limited unless you include an odd choice of fresh cuts which eventually the type you chose, which I choose ribeye, are brought wrapped and you chose from 3 different steaks, all huge and no information on your cost. Mine ended up on the check at $80! The only choice listed on the menu was filet at $50. Confused? Me too.

Will continue to go to Eureka Road location until the kinks are worked out here.Basically ignored by the bartender and had to use the stare at him method. I asked for customization of my drink, less alcohol, was denied. Order was wrong and runner disappeared and never came back. Fries were soggy, said no dressing, and received a pool of dressing...Hoisin ribs were lacking ....NEVER happened at Eureka Road location. NEVER. A solid two years of patronage.One bartender during happy hour is ....negligent. Just because there were two other people doesnt mean they were serving the bar. You had two ladies for the remainder of the restaurant. Extremely negligent.You dont run the Roseville location like this. Why would you run the Rocklin location this way??? If we didnt like Bennetts, we would never come back. But, well just drive to Eureka Road until you all figure out the scheduling and kitchen communication...no dressing means no dressing...fries cant be served soggy, customer says hold topper alcohol, hold it et cetera.You may want to get Brian to help you all out at the Rocklin location because what I experienced last Friday was AWFUL!
