Great experience every time I go here. This is a small business with great food. While they do not have the variety of meats and sides compared to Gen or other big KBBQ places, they still have really exceptional choices. Their meat cuts are of great quality as well. I never usually have to wait to get seated, even on weekends. Their grill is also fitted with a fan inside so the smoke does not rise up and get in your face or clothes. The staff is super friendly.
Craving some Korean barbecue we headed down to Beque after a long time, since we have moved out of the area.Not disappointed at all, with the food and the quality is super amazing. Customer service beyond exceptional and the setup outside ( which was our first time at Beque in the outside seating area) was nicely done as well. Not only the meats but the sides were exceptionally well cooked/prepared as well. Fish cakes, kimchi, raddish, japchae, cucumbers and the usual suspects were consumed in abundance.All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend Beque even if you have to drive out a good 15-20 minutes to reach the location.Hoping to be back soon!!!
Im conflicted on my review of this place. I took my family 5 adults and 2 children to this place. I have to say there was no service. My 7 year old son had to go back and forth from the kitchen to bring stuff to the table. No one came to the table to ask if we needed anything. If you advertise all you can eat at least make it seem like youre getting your moneys worth through service. There was plenty of good meats but a small grill. This place is good for a max 4 people group. If you take more than 4 people you need two tables. So that everyone can eat at the same time. I spent the entire time feeding small portions to everyone while i cooked and then 2 hours later I got to eat my small portion. The food was delicious but exhausting for everyone as a large group.
I love eating ACYE Korean BBQ with friends, indoor dinning was recently allowed again in my county. Beque, @BequeKoreanGrill, is serving all you can eat Korean BBQ. The best part is being able to cook for yourself. My favorite meat is raw Brisket, Pork Belly, beef belly, pork shoulder, and bulgogi. We had four rounds of meat. Every thing was fresh which I really like. They were cool about changing out the grill as often as possible. All the sides were really good also. Went there for all you can eat dinner and the place is clean and the service is quick, they have a system down, the pork belly was not good it tasted like it definitely had been frozen too long but the rest of the meat was really good. The best was definitely the beef brisket, overall great place for all you can eat
This place is the worst place that I have never been! Poor hygiene, tofu in different color? It’s obvious they mixed overnight tofu and fresh tofu together.No one single glass it’s clean! Not mention you can barely call a service here. I know the place is not anything fancy, but it should at least clean.
I give it a 5 stars because you get to cook your on food and i can cook. Never been here before. It is great place to inter act with family and friends.the cooking Stove is in the middle of the table and everybody sits around it. They have all you can it and about 10 to 12 different meats. side dishes. I have eaten here two more times since..
I like this place, they’re good on the quantity and quality not to mention the price per person is pretty fair too. All you can eat Korean BBQ is the way to go, their side dishes are good amount. I think I eat about 3 times a month in the same places I’ve been too but rotate them. The server moms are pretty nice. That’s why I keep coming back with people.
This place is my go-to when visiting for business in Santa Clara. When in groups, the AYCE options are very nice. However I am often solo and love their seafood Soondubu (soft tofu stew) with some mul mandu (steamed dumplings). I love their banchan side dishes so much! Both for variety and freshness. Finally this place opens late until 1am!
Really tasty food and quick cooking and service. I had water but they gave us a ladle to refill ourselves which was super! Bogogui is always the best. Squid was okay I think we must have overcooked it as I wasnt really experienced in cooking squid. Kimchi and other side dishes were refreshed when needed and delicious!
Came here back in 2017 for my bachelorette dinner and was so impressed with everything. Went back again recently and wow. Still remember that same experience I had the first time I went there. This is our new special date night spot
Its hidden in a back area for those trying beque for the first time. They have more options now too for the all you can eat menu.UPDATE:Still one of the best places for Korean BBQ. Compared to some of the other places, Beque is a nice quiet place. The quality of the food is on point. The side dishes are near consistent every visit. Like one or two dishes are on rotation a week or something. Overall, its a great eatery.
A lot of people say vegetarians/vegans are missing out on flavors, but I can definitely say we are not! Ironically an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ place has some pretty good options for us plant-based people!Visited on a Thursday evening and it wasnt too jammed packed, name was called after 30 minutes of being on the list and we were served almost immediately!My group and I enjoyed the meal, the unlimited sides were one of the greatest parts. Price isnt too bad at all. Would definitely visit again!

Beque just recently opened for outdoor dining. Great experience. The food was good. The price was great for what you get and the service was amazing.Food:The bulgogi was good. Better than the short rib if you had to choose.. The short rib was great as well. They cut all the pieces for you, which makes it easy to eat. The meal comes with sides like salad, kitchen, fish cakes, and Japche.Service:The owner name is Ray Kim. I believe he was our server. He made sure we had everything and came back to make sure we were okay.Parking:The restaurant shares the parking with the plaza. It can get pack during busy hours.
Wow!! We got the best and most friendly service here!! I am saying wow because most kbbq ayce places weve been to have the most rude or unhappy employees. The team at Beque is great and were so nice to us even during the crazy dinner rush. They filled our waters, filled our rice and banchan, all with real smiles. From menu A we chose pork belly ans bulgogi and added a plate of galbi. Between two people it was too much, so next time were going to ask for smaller portions so we can try more meats. There was so much meat to cook that there wasnt even time for the hot plate to burn and get yucky.We finished our order because they had the sauces we really liked and preferred: the sesame oil w salt and the gochujang salty bean paste. The banchan was a nice selection. The kimchee and daikon were bigger sides so we only had to request refill once. The hot plate was nice quality and didnt burn but cooked our food fast and just right.Cant wait to try menu B next time with seafood. The meat quality was very good we loved it all!
We had all-you-can eat BBQ and the pork belly was served in a big lump.Meat tasted old... banchans were strange tasting. We probably had two pieces of the meat, had a beer and left.A la carte was not available after 9pm.We had a bad meal.

All you can eat for $30 and half price for kid under 10. Cheaper when comparing with other places on El Camino real. Yet the foods are tasty. You can choose spicy or not. Side notes, minimum 2 persons is required for buffet otherwise you have to pay per plate.
We absolutely love it here my and the hubby came here to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it made my birthday dinner even more amazing. Definitely a great spot for a date night, get to cook and eat a massive about of delicious food! Had the beef, chicken, shrimp, and veggies. The Green tea is a definite!

I really enjoyed this place. The environment is peaceful, pretty simple to find, and service was awesome. The lemon chicken had a strong lemon, and salty, taste. I do recommend to be a bit careful if the grill is too hot when placing high fatty foods, as the grease and oil will splash out. I recommend getting something lean first. Once its done cooking, then the more oily products. I will definitely come back here again.
Not impressed. Food is Ok but I don’t have a dish to recommend. I do recommend trying all the other little restaurants around this place as well.

The food and service is overall very appetizing. Proportions of meat was fair, they are not shy with loading you with kimchi. Only thing is dinner may be a little pricey. I remember when lunch was 17 all you can eat and dinner was 21 dollars. The place has been there for awhile.
Visiting from out of town and where hungry. We looked at places next to the apartment we rented and saw this place. Looked really good. We came and where able to sit us down quick. They gave us 2 hours time limit which is normal. We ordered a tower of beer and started cooking. They gave us really big portions. More then we are use to back home. The meat and everything was delicious. Very good quality of meat. We be back when we are in the area. Great place

Solidly ok. Nothing special about the meat, but at least they dont skimp on the staples. Price was about $23/head for the dinner, which isnt bad. Service was pretty good for a Korean restaurant, though the first round of meat took almost 10 minutes with an empty dining room.Definitely would come again if a friend just wanted something to eat.
Server was exceptional. They even tended to my partner who doesn’t eat meat. They have other things you van order like ramen. Will be back soon
The meat was excellent. The side salads were ok. But the service was slow. We asked for the check twice and it arrived 15 minutes later. We asked for a tea at the start and got it 30 minutes later. But well probably come back because the brisket, bulgogi and la galbee la was just 💯

It was recommended to us by a friend a few years back and is a mist stop for us when in the Bay Area.The meat is quality and the sides are all delicious.The staff is really attentive and will field any questions you may have especially if you are new to the cuisine. I euggest going with the house marinated meats.This place is always consistent. We have never had a sub par meal there.
Those who rated this place anything above 2 stars must have been blessed with tastebuds that enjoy sewage. It is by far the worst kbbq I have ever eaten, including AYCE establishments. The pork belly still had the rind on it, the fat to meat proportion on the chadolbaegi was off, and even the banchan tasted like they bought some mass produced packaged food from the supermarket, opened to break the “freshness seal,” and then served to customers a month later.Perhaps this place was better prior to the pandemic? Otherwise, zero idea how they’re still in business. Go elsewhere!
I’m so sorry but the food wasn’t good! Not to mention it came out frozen but all other dishes felt reheated or packaged. The food made my husband throw up in the parking lot right after leaving the restaurant. I don’t know what’s going on but they have compromised the quality a lot. Getting sick right after eating should not be happening. It wasn’t just “the food wasn’t good”. The wait staffs were amazing at running the dining room and the restaurant is beautiful but I was really disappointed by how low quality the food was.
To be honest, the food sucked. They were understaffed as well. The meat was tough and didn’t taste very good, and the shrimp seemed like they had been dead for a while. The grilling surfaces were also weirdly sticky (not non-stick). No sauce bar. However, the appetizers were good and there was a decent selection to choose from as far as meats.
The wait was for 2 hours (valentines day) and the variety of meats was not a lot, but loved the chicken and the spicy pork.
Service are good but tastes bad. The beef was way toooo sweet, shrimps were rotten, porks were super thin slice. Overall not enjoyable at all. But we appreciate the service and hard working on Christmas！
Went for the lunch time $14.99 all-u-can eat base on reviews and was not disappointed. Co-worker got carried away trying to order more meat plates then we could possibly eat; fortunately, the waiter & I were able to rein in his excitement to three meat plates and sides. We were barely able to finish off the meat and sides. Left stuffed & happy- sadly had to go back to work. Will be back for future lunch & try dinner time.
Great place! No wait on a Saturday night, we had the all-you-can-eat BBQ which has a great price and is a really good deal. Portion sizes are big and you get a lot for your money. Everything was absolutely delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend it!
Delicious all-you-can-eat KBBQ! They also have a la carte items on the menu, which can be handy if you have a vegetarian in your party. There are over a dozen different meats available on the AYCE menu, all tasty, and the sides are also excellent. The wait can be pretty long during popular times though.
I had a great experience at the restaurant. Originally between a 4 & 5 (hadnt tried enough menu items to commit to a 5), but shifted to a 5 due to customer service I received. Very attentive servers and the food was great. Really enjoyed the complimentary hot tea and the kimchi was good.
We have so much fun here. We do the all you can eat, which is $20 a person. You get so much! First of all there are tons of side dishes and condiments. Start your grill with the unmarinated pork belly. The fat helps coat the grill. I recommend asking for half sized portions of the meat. They give you so much meat otherwise, youll fill up on just one flavor. The menu items are also very tasty. The wait can be long though, so consider making a reservation.
Great price for all you can eat self grill. Great to be able to grill veggies. Like the house sauce pork the best. Said good too. Lemon pepper weird but chicken quality good. You can even grill the lettuce.
For those trying Korean BBQ for the first time, this place might seem magnificent, but for a more experienced pallet, this place is basic. The option were very limited, the burners feel like a flat top rather than a grill, the flavors were limited and so was the seasoning. The only reason this place looks so appealing is because they fill your table with side plates that don’t really matter.My favorite part of this place was the price.(money is not an issue as long as it is worth it)
Everything I love about Korean food.They let you cook the meat at your table which is a huge plus for me. The meat itself was high quality (not too fatty) and had a strong taste (especially when given a bit of char, which you can do yourself!). I got the bulgogi and the spicy bulgogi (which isnt too spicy) as well as the chicken in their all-you-can-eat. I didnt love the chicken but the beef more than made up for it.Service was good, kimchi was good, overall a fantastic spot and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
The price is cheap but the food is really bad. The quality of the meat isn’t good and even the rice was dry and not fresh at all. You can have extra meat as much as you want if you order Tier A/B and my friend and I had Tier A. However, when we ordered more pork for our second round, we got pork belly, 99% of which were only fat. Overall, I think this restaurant targets the people who don’ know Korean food well. As a Korean, I won’t go back to this place and won’t recommend others to try this place.

Great place to bond with family and friends. Great concept be able to cook your own meat at the table top grill. This place offers a variety of season to me for reasonable price. Various pickled side dishes to add with lettuce to wrap your meats grill that table top.

Been coming here for a few years, its great to see them expanding. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly. This place is more accommodating to children than most Korean bbq places Ive been to, so I really recommend it for families.
Went for lunch during the weekday. parking and service was quick and easy. lunch had 4 meats to choose from with nice big portions. i get the thin marinated steak. a nice assortment of pickle stuff and lettuce to wrap meats. rice was ok. meat quality seemed good. flavor is good 😋. i will come back!
Will never return again. I visited this place about a week ago with two other friends. Im of Korean origin and a huge fan of Korean BBQ so i was expecting a lot.Let me start with the goods - the service was nice (the lady was really kind), they gave us generous portions, and the interior had a contemporary feel to it. So before the food came out, I was really feeling good.Now here is why I will never return to this place again. We ordered three meat parts: pork belly, beef brisket, and marinated steak. The pork belly came in frozen. Completely frozen. And even after being grilled, the meat was tough. The beef brisket was the most bizarre. On the grill, it started sticking to the pan and the meat tearing apart. I have never seen a beef brisket that does this. All i can think of is the brisket was of the poorest quality or the meat was really old, or perhaps not even a brisket. The brisket was once again tough. The marinated steak was the most edible, but once again, you could tell that the meat wasnt fresh and hence, tough in your mouth.If this restaurant operated as such in Seoul, itd close down in a month guaranteed.Im not sure whether this was just this one time or not, but I will not be taking chances with this place in the future.
Not the typical all you can eat that we expected. It is a sitting down by the grill and order until you are full. Menu is mostly meat (beef, chicken, pork, marinated except one kind of beef), shrimp, squid and vegetable platter. They have other supplemental Korean side dishes, some are complimentary, some are on additional costs. Better quality food. We went with our kids, not that suitable for younger kids. They only ate rice and a little meat and tofu. We ate lots of grilled meat until full. That is a plus.
Relatively cheap but meat quality is pretty below average. We had AYCE but the only thing really worth eating was the pork belly & shoulder, avoid the other options.
This spot is legit. Ive been to 2 other Korean BBQ spots lately and this one takes the cake. The meat selection isnt as extensive as the other one I went to, but the meat tastes so much better. Another thing I liked about this place is we didnt have to ask for aide dishes, they brought them out as soon as we sat.Cheaper than a few other AYCE bbq spots and better meat with larger portions brought out each time makes this my choice for Korean bbq
Caveat: Im a vegetarian. Got the ramen and fried rice and soju. Was rather disappointed by the ramen and fried rice. Wasnt terrible but wouldnt eat there again. The soju was good though. Mango peach is the bomb!
Great place food was good quality was good first time visiting today we got sat pretty fast my favorite was the spicy marinated pork was great so was the ribeye. They have two all you can eat optiona one has mainly beef and pork the other has shrimp pork and pork belly. Both are great.
Around 20 dollars (before tax/tip) for AYCE Kbbq dinner. I like the marinated beef a lot, as well as the side dishes. :) Service was pretty fast, and the wait wasnt long the few times Ive been here.
So I keep coming back here because they are open late and the wait usually isnt crazy. The meat selection is meager and the quality is okay. Last time I went the service was horrible though. There were only three other tables in there and the wait staff seemed like they were ignoring us. One plus is that I dont think they charge you for not finishing meat.
We always get the all you can eat option and we really like the food. The pitchers of soju mixed drinks always get the party started. Parking can be a little tight. Average wait for us is 15 min.
I went to this restaurant five years ago. This Korean restaurant is open until 1 am. So I went sometimes when I was hungry in the late hours.This restaurant has good service and food is delicious. In particular, bulgogi and pork belly taste. If you want to taste Korean bbq buffet, I recommend this restaurant.I wish you a pleasant day.
I had a bad dinner with these guys. me and my wife were served frozen meat, it wasnt just one kind of meat, but most of what they gave us, and it was hard to cook and eat. It was so blend with out any flavor. Personally i wouldnt go there again. Dont know what were they thinking about people eating frozen meat.
There’s a lot of competition for AYCE Korean BBQ now but Beque manages to fit into a nice niche despite not being the most popular. For one, it’s nice and quiet most of the time so you won’t have to wait 30+ minutes or more like at the much overhyped Gen. The quality is comparable to Gen, which doesn’t mean much because Gen really doesn’t specialize in quality. However, there aren’t as many menu items. The kimchi was actually quite good, which actually matters because you do get tired of meat all the time and other AYCE places have terrible sides that would be inexcusable in any respectable non-AYCE Korean restaurant. The soup was bad though, lol. And the real advantage of this place is that it’s much cheaper than other AYCE, compared to Gen it’s $2 cheaper at lunch and $4-6 cheaper at dinner. Comparable quality, better sides, and a lower price makes Beque a place I will be returning to.
Very cozy place might be a challenge for groups >6 people.Food and quality of meat was unexpectedly good.Negative part:Grill was outdated than most bbq places that caused our party to be more hungry.Our server ended up bring broiled meat to enjoy while we await for our meal to be done.

Always come here for lunch :) it doesnt have that many dishes for all you can eat but still those dishes fill up your belly real nice. The lady there probably hates me cause we always talk a bit loud sometimes lol but everyone who works there are super nice and friendly and the music is lit. and who doesnt want kbbq for $13 for lunch
I always get the ALL YOU CAN EAT, for $20 you can never go wrong with this choice. You choose the meat you want, it is brought to you and you cook it on the grill in the middle of the table. Great setting and great food to enjoy with great friends. Spicy bulgogi is my favorite!They serve beer and also saké. I like the Sapporo beer, they also have boba tea for all the boba lovers (myself included). I recommend this place to anyone and everyone, Im sure you will love it. I will definitely be coming back again for more!
Poor service. Forgot my diet coke, didnt bring complimentary sauce or dish. No exhaust fans so smoky and not. Didnt replace grill unless we told them to. Brought us rice even though we didnt want any. Poor listening skills. Got stomach ache afterwards not sure if its due to food??

Best Korean AYCE in the bay area. It is family run and you can tell the food is made with Love! I always enjoy coming here and seeing familiar faces every time, its very cozy.
Fast service and great quality food compared to their competitors. If you are in South Bay and want to eat some Korean BBQ I would suggest this place over the other costly places. Went here twice and never got disappointed.

Clean, spacious, all you can eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ. They have the usual meat options in the AYCE section of the menu. They also have an extensive Al la carte menu. Recently they have expanded their menu to add more vegetarian options. Vegetarian dolsot is really good with lots of veggies and nice spicy sauce to go with it. The hand made noodle soup is incredible. Warm, comforting, with melt in the mouth noodles.
Great place and nice and quiet for now. Once word gets out its going to be PACKED.. all you can eat for $15!!?? Geesh!! Great food and service while watching the world cup on lunch. Unbeatable.

The beef was very inconsistent with the rounds of serving. The brisket was extremely tough. First serving of rib-eye was great, but the second serving was tough. Unfortunately, the food was just okay.

Its a very cheap price for lunch, and I like how the vent is integrated into the grill so the smoke is immediately sucked out without going upwards. However the meat quality is only OK and variety is tiny.
Great place to get some late night BBQ and drinks with coworkers or friends. Staff is friendly and laid back, also super helpful to aid in cooking the meat when we were a bit challenged at doing it ourselves.
My Daughter and I had a great meal in a warm and inviting environment. I look forward to coming back here when I return to the Bay Area.

My KBBQ standards are far far lower for the bay area than for Socal. Keeping that in mind, this place aint too bad!$20.00 for AYCE KBBQ...Yes there is such a thing in the bay area. Why so cheap? Well because your options are limited. Theres only 5 things you can choose from and half of them are chicken. Although youre only limited to 5, the 5 meat options were actually tasty and if you EAT A LOT its worth it. So COME HERE HUNGRY! the downside is that the grill is kind of small and it takes a while to cook...especially the chicken :(The banchan were okay, nothing too special. What is really cool is that this place isnt smoky because their grill has a built in vent and it isnt loud from the fan either which gives this place a pretty nice ambiance :)Its a bit hidden, located in the back of the plaza but at night they have pretty bright neon lights. Worth a visit if youre hungry looking to devour meat for $20. Oh and there is no difference between lunch or dinner!
Waited for an hour for seats even when there are tables available for a while. They might not have enough staff to clean up the tables, so I suggested one staff maybe they should hire more people.He straight up rolled his eyes and say NO WE DON’T NEED THAT.I was not expecting that.Food was okay, not much selection from all you can eat list.

Very disappointing this place !!!!!We called the place about 20 minutes before we arrived to make reservations, We were told that there is no Reservations on Sunday and there is a waiting list.We came to the restaurant, while we waited We notice that people coming in and just getting their tables with no waiting list .They explained that this people were reserved tables and we need to wait 15 minutes

2023-07-23 04:19:05AYCE $27 which is very good given the decent quality of the dishes. I believe the price is all day everyday. We enjoyed the marinated soy squid, chicken thighs, pork shoulder, pork belly and ribeye.1 basket of lettuce is free and unlimited steamed rice. Can order 4 dishes at a time. Separate gender restrooms. Atmosphere was fine with 2 big TVs but can get pretty hot inside with the grill. The grill is replaced with a clean one after every round of dishes. Service was adequate.

2023-07-22 20:25:53It was a great AYCE spot with super reasonable prices! We felt that the meat portions were really big compared to other AYCE places. For example, we got chicken and they usually give one or two breasts - we got four. We arent sure if this is typical or its to match our group of four.The meat flavors were good.The banchans were good. There wasnt a consistent flavor so we think that they are house made. When we asked for more banchans, the staff piled it up!Overall, we would visit again but maybe ask for half portion of meats so we could try all the selections.

We were group of 5.2nd time we order food; Korean noodle, spicy rice cake, Korean pancakes,The Mandu the dumpling.Korean noodle we felt were instant noodle . Rest all food was really good!They also give complimentary side dish such kimchi’s and other pickles.Price overall I find reasonable.Thank you

2023-06-08 21:11:25Overall, beque is a very solid AYCE spot with super reasonable prices (especially for the south bay)! but you have to pick the right meats. we tried almost all of them and the verdict is that you have to get the brisket (chadol baegi), beef belly (wugyupsal), and the beque dwaeji gogi (pork shoulder)—these were all DELICIOUS! the other meats weren’t necessarily bad, but just not as good quality or maybe a bit less tender. the banchan were plentiful (though the bean sprouts didnt have much flavor, the fish cakes and kimchis and japchae were all very gooood) and service was nice! the restaurant is run by a family and though they were busy, they made sure to tend to us when we asked :-). would definitely come again!

2022-10-04 08:12:14We “discovered” Beque Korean Grill on a desperate search for quality all-you-can-eat buffet, and left a satisfied customer.Beque Santa Clara is stashed in a small crevice of a larger mall. That strip is oriented perpendicular to El Camino, easy to miss even after you enter the main mall - which I did on occasion. But after this visit, my mental map of Little Korea shifted eastward. With all 9 tenants in the small yard obviously running Korean businesses - more than in the main mall, I cannot think of another place that screams “Koreantown” louder.When we entered the packed restaurant an hour and half before closing time, there were already two parties waiting. Twenty minutes was not exceedingly long, but the wait wasn’t very comfortable because they left the door open.Once seated, wait staff will take your order in batches. (In addition to all-you-can-eat, they also offer à-la-carte ordering.) And of course, you will have the usual pickled vegetables. Do not skip this detail: most all those little dishes taste exquisite. I always enjoy these appetizers, but rarely get excited about a particular one - because most Korean places in the area serve reasonably good ones. But this place is extraordinary.As to the main meats, qualities vary. We found the pork shoulder (Dwaeji bulgogi) particularly tender and flavorful. Squid is always good. Shrimp is large and juicy. But avoid pork belly that is too tough. Their ribeye beef steak isn’t too thrilling, either.In the end, we found our way of ordering rounds. That gave us very full stomaches and satisfied tastebuds. This, at a price, eh, how to describe it? There used to be an all-you-can-eat Korean buffet near Hankook Supermarket; I think it was called “King’s Buffet” although I cannot be sure. (To be honest, I thought Beque was that one because they were both close to Lawrence.) That one had much bigger space, so they ran pick-your-own-food style; it had better meats, lots of seafood, salads, soup, and other choices. I last went there ten years ago. The price back then was double the price today at Beque.Taste of food is even harder to describe, especially at a buffet. So, I will try to convey it by way of comparison. I couldnt find any place like the King’s Buffet today, but there are two places in downtown Mountain View offering all-you-can-eat Korean barbeque. One of them is slightly more expensive than Beque Santa Clara, but their meats are extremely limited and mediocre in quality. The other is slightly less expensive than Beque, also with limited meats that are Okayish, none outstanding like some at Beque. Coming back to the pickled appetizer salads: not even King’s Buffet can compare with Beque Santa Clara.In other words, Beque Santa Clara is a quality bargain. You just need to find your way to order.

2023-11-14 03:41:30The food is good and you dont smell like bbq leaving this place. The bbq grill has an air vacuum to take away the smoke and smell while cooking. Not much seating but its well worth it. Only challenge there at night is parking.

2023-11-19 22:57:56This place is not very authentic. The kimchi is extremely sour- this is coming from a Korean who prefers her kimchi sour. That means the kimchi has been sitting for a very long time, which isn’t a problem in and of itself as kimchi doesn’t really spoil, but it’s pretty telling. Some of the other side dishes tasted a bit off, like it was just starting to spoil, and were simply just not very good.The meat comes out frozen rock solid, so it takes a long time to cook. There is only one cooking pan for 6 people, which is not enough to keep up with the pace of eating, so there is a lot of waiting time in between eating. They give you one basket of lettuce per table as an all-you-can-eat side, but they only give you one whether you order AYCE for 6 people or 1 table.The service is poor - they rarely come to your table and are pretty unfriendly.
