My God the food is so good. Appetizers to drinks and dessert all amazing. Server was great too and cocktails were some of the best Ive ever had. With alcohol thats high end and mixed right I was feeling perfect from two drinks. Highly recommend and our dog loved the outside seating.

5 stars across the board. incredible food with a nice rotating menu, great bar staff and nice wine list. every time I come here its always been great and I sometimes even hang out for dessert, which is very rare. dont skip out on the Bartenders Pizza!

Food was just okay. The focaccia was the highlight of the meal. Wasn’t a big fan of the pizza, it had a soggy crust/ texture and fell apart trying to eat it. Our server was great and we loved the atmosphere, but it was disappointing to say the least.

Came here for a date on a Saturday and put ourselves on the waitlist and got seated immediately!Good:- Prices are super reasonable for such a nice place!- I loved the squid ink risotto - such a good unique flavor profile and the calamari really elevated the whole presentation of the dish and the way that each bite would feel different and crunchy- Bartenders pizza was surprisingly light and I loved the burrata that came on top- The meatballs were tasty and huge too!- My drink was light and fruity as well - I got the tequila one- Really quick serviceBad:- Pretty loud inside and harder to hear conversationOverall it was really a great place to go for a romantic date and also to get some solid Italian food without breaking the bank.

We were searching for Italian food one evening and landed at this spot. The pizzas (and calzone) caught my eyes the most, and they seem to be the highlight of the menu; theyre less heavy on pasta dishes. The bartenders choice pizza had amazing flavors -- the spicy sausage and peppers meshed perfectly with the giant lumps of burrata. I usually prefer thicker crust, but I didnt miss it at all here. The Margherita pizza definitely maximized its potential here, too. We didnt have any, but all the apps passing by our table looked amazing. They had a nice vibe, good ambiance/music, and service was quick on a pretty busy evening. Dont walk past this place too quickly; its 100% worth a visit!

This location was a far better experience than the Divisadero location. The hostess was friendly (and a genuine friendly, not the false customer service type of friendly). Our waitress was sweet and on top of things, making sure that our table was cleared in a timely manner before bringing out additional dishes.It’s funny how I went to this location with a party of five and had no issues with any dishes or any delays even though they were busy, yet my party of two (during a slower time) received horrible service at the Divisadero location.If given the option to choose between the two locations choose Valencia. If Valencia has a 30 minute wait for a table but Divisadero can seat you right away, wait for Divisadero. The moral of the story is: this is the Kim Kardashian of the Beretta family. Go here!The staff is nicer and the food has more flavor. There was even a better vibe/energy at this location.

I wasn’t to overly impressed with this restaurant, don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place to meet of drinks and some sides. When I think Italian type of cuisine I think of dishes with chicken and meat. The portions are tiny and the prices are not, the restaurant is really small and a bit crowded, not really a place I would come dinner, more like a place I would come for the pizza, drinks and friends. Sorry just my take on the place…

I recently visited Beretta SF in the Mission (Valencia) and it was a great experience. This Italian restaurant has a limited food menu but the food is fresh and authentic. This is a great date night restaurant with amazing food and wine. We ordered the crab balls, bread, and pizza, which I highly recommend. In addition to the amazing food, the staff was extremely friendly, kind, and very helpful. They also stay open late (11 pm) on most nights, which is great especially for the Mission.

Went here on a Friday night to grab dinner with a friend. It’s a small place but cute with good ambiance and music. They were very busy that night but the staff was also very attentive and fast when it came to serving out table. We ordered the meatballs which for appetizer they were very flavorful and the sauce was super tasty. We also shared their margherita burrata pizza and tricolore salad along with their spa water cocktail and firestarter cocktails and we were very pleased with all our choices.

We came here for a friend’s birthday party with a large group of 16 people. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our waitress was great and helped us plan a family style meal so everyone had enough portions of all the dishes we wanted to try. Everything across the menu is tasty - from the appetizers, to the pizza, pasta, and cocktails! The walnut bread with burrata and mushrooms truffle honey was amazing.

Absolutely love coming to Beretta for their happy hour and brunch. Once seated, you can open the menu via a QR code at the table. The heated outdoor patio is lovely to sit at and catch up with friends! The drinks are quite tasty and not too strong. I’m a big fan of thin crust pizza and the margherita pizza is so amazing. Definitely come early as because they’ll fill up super fast during the dinner rush. It’s a bit less busy during brunch on weekends as well.

Started off with the eggplant appetizer and the nuestra Paloma and Kentucky mule. The drinks were pretty good not too strong but no virgins here. Next we had the squid ink risotto and funghi misti pizza. The pizza was delicious the mixture of mushrooms and saltiness of the cheese hit the spot. I enjoyed the risotto, but I couldnt help but feel it was lacking something. The food came out fast and hot and the service was very good. I plan on returning and trying out a few other pizzas and dishes.

Great food and great service.The interior is pretty casual and modern. Servers were super responsive and food came out quickly.Lots of vegetarian options available. We got a mushroom risotto (pretty good), a pasta chilaqueles (highly recommend), a beet salad(also highly recommend), and some drinks. The chilaqueles green sauce was tangy and compliments the the savoryness of the rest of the dish.They have pretty good coffee, slight acidic. Drinks were good the floral one with hibiscus was really nice and refreshing.Prices were pretty good.

Delicious food and a great time. The tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had - a must try! The lamb shank was perfect and peeled right off the bone. And the cocktails were amazing - the peloma and the float n stone were our faves. We don’t really recommend the seafood linguini because the muscles and clams were small and the noodles were falling apart, but the shrimp was excellent. Service was very good and the outdoor heat lamps made it a comfortable nighttime experience. Would definitely come again :)

We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect place to celebrate! They dont take reservations for small groups, but I placed myself on the waiting list about a half-hour before we arrived. We didnt have to wait for a table and were seated right away around 5:30pm on a Thursday.Since it was happy hour, we ordered a few aperol spritzes for $7 and the eggplant caponatina for $6. The eggplant was so light and flavorful. One of the best ways Ive had eggplant! We also ordered the walnut bread (burrata, mushroom-truffle honey) and the capricciosa pizza (marinara, provolone, prosciutto cotto, artichokes, portobello, crimini). The burrata was perfect, and the prosciutto is not your basic cheese plate type meat. Its thick and juicy. We also ordered the panna gelato with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt and the pistachio semifreddo with berries and an almond cookie crumble. Everything was divine. I can taste the semifreddo as I type.

The atmosphere is confusing; it’s dark with small lights scattered around so you’d assume calm and romantic but the loud hip/hop rap make it feel like a club, i couldn’t hear myself think.Ordered a pizza and there seemed to be sufficient toppings on it but it was just lacking in flavor. I had to ask for a chili oil to pour on top to give it more flavor.All in all, had higher hopes for here but didn’t get to them

Dishes are deliciously crafted. Meatballs, fried crab balls, and risotto (saffron with Osso Bucco) were all yummy. Im lactose intolerant so I ordered a pizza with no cheese... This restaurant was a bit of a drive from our hotel, but the food looked so delicious, we decided to give it a shot. After exiting our Uber, we walked up to the door & were greeted by the hostess. She informed us that there was an hour and forty-five minute wait for a table. Somewhat disappointed, we decided to take a walk. While passing by the back door, we noticed 2 seats opening up at the bar and quickly jumped in them. We were thrilled. After sitting down, the bartender asked how he could help us & we told him it was our first time there. He started making recommendations, which we happily went with. We ordered 3 appetizers and a pizza and it was plenty of food for the two of us. It wasnt just enough, though, it was also extremely delicious, all of it, especially the pizza. We ordered the Eggplant Caponatina, which was fresh and light, the Walnut bread, which had a really satisfying flavor, and we ordered the Dungeness Crab Arancini, which was good, but with the Aioli, made amazing. Next for the pizza, we explained that my girlfriend was mostly vegan, but we liked spicy foods. The gentleman recommended that we order an off-menu pizza with olives, Barrata & spicy marinara, said that lots of the employees order that combo & really like it. Thats exactly what we did. The pizza was definitely the star of the show, but also, a big shout out to the bartender for being friendly, helpful, and recommending an amazing pizza.

It came on a bed of arugula along w/roasted fingerling potatoes with great flavor, a beautiful chopped green olive topping that had a great semi sour contrast with the meaty hearty octopus and potatoes.The Coffee Stout beer in a can was strong and delicious. Ok service, i would have like to been offered more water, etc. my entree was Canneloni, fresh pasta rolled up with Ricotta/spinach in the middle, a tasty tomato sauce that was bubbling, some cheese and bit of sausage on too, tasted just like lasagna. One of our favorite places! We live nearby and have come here a few times and every times and it’s great! We really love the walnut bread with burrata, and the Brussels sprouts are sooo good. I’ve visited this restaurant on two separate occasions, and after my last experience, it’s safe to say I won’t be returning.Overall, I sense a deep lack of hospitality and regard from the wait staff unless you’re willing to spend at least $100 on your meal. If this isn’t in your budget and you’re just wanting to enjoy two pizzas and waters on a Monday night, prepare to have a rushed table service and sassy waitress.In total, my party spent 30-45 minutes at our table. As soon as we finished eating our food, our waitress comes to remove our plates and present us with our bill. As I’m completing the payment, our waitress loomed over our table and stared as I placed a custom tip option on the card reader (the default options go from 18% - 25%). I guess she was unhappy with the amount that I tipped her (16%, which I’ve never heard of being a lowball tip in any other setting) and felt it was appropriate to present an attitude as she wrapped up her table service in front of my party.While the food is enjoyable, it’s not worth tolerating the disrespect and condescension from the wait staff. Good restaurants in the Bay Area are a dime a dozen, and I’d feel much better off giving my business and 16% tip to a restaurant that will actually appreciate it.

This place is so yummy! I got the meatballs, tiramisu, and a custom drink and all were delicious. This is fairly remarkable because these items are usually mediocre in other places. The tomato sauce of the meatballs were tangy and flavorful and the meatballs were generous and firm. The tiramisu was both chocolatey, soft, and had a great coffee flavor. Really good.

After driving an hour each way to come to this restaurant, I would give this place a solid meh, Ive had better.I got the lasagna, which (if you look at the picture) looked more like a bowl of tomato bisque than lasagna. My friends got the squid ink risotto, which was bland and the chicken parm wasnt much better than something we could make at home. The walnut bread, however, was incredible. But unfortunately, I dont think an outstanding appetizer can make up for a mediocre meal.I apologize for bringing up other restaurants, but if I wanted really good pizza, I would just head over to Tony’s Pizza Napoletana. If I wanted really authentic Italian food, Id head across the bridge to Donatos in Berkeley. I would really only come back here if it was incredibly convenient, but I dont this place is worth going out of your way to.

Absolutely delicious food with a delightful ambiance. Staff is helpful and informative, and we never felt pressed at any point to order more or anything like that. I also think they have an excellent balance of ambient sounds that make chatting with your party easy (ie you arent shouting to be heard). I suggest reservations or getting into the waitlist well ahead of when youd like to eat, as theyre very popular and almost always pretty full.

I honestly was so unimpressed with this place. The staff was very rude. I think we were sitting there for about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. And that says some thing because we were literally in the middle of the front room. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been a server before and when it’s busy I get it. But you should acknowledge your table that you will be with them in a couple of minutes or some type of acknowledgment. I had multiple servers walked by me each about five times before any of them said anything. Only good thing I have to say about this place is the prices were good. But I wouldn’t go back.

Great atmosphere and an even better selection of all types of beer. I often have issues finding many dark beers but no longer! They have more than Ive seen anywhere else in the City and with varying degrees of potency. The food is simple and excellent. Their bahn mi was a great revision of the traditional version and paired well with their beers. Their wait staff is awesome and knowledgeable and will help you find the right groupings easily.

We ordered the Cauliflower, Meatballs In Spicy Tomato Sauce, Dungeness Crab Arancini, an interesting Kale Caesar salad, and a Prosciutto pizza. All were very good. We had the Tiramisu, and the Panna Gelato which was everyones favorite. The Panna had a really interesting mixture of sweet, salt, and rich flavoring all mixed. We really enjoyed our meal at Beretta.

This review is only on the drinks and snacks but for a random Wednesday out in the mission this place was a great find. We were looking for a nightcap and came across Beretta in the search. It was very busy as I imagine it is on most nights and we couldnt get a table. It was too cold for outside seating but the host was very nice and gave us the last seats at the community table.I am used to the community table life with places like Urban Tavern and others making it actually the preferred option at times. The table was large and you didnt feel to crowded with the person next to you. The drink options were varied with several sweeter options and cocktails seemed to be the focus which I am totally fine with. We also ordered the sweet potato fries withe Gorgonzola and Parmesan. It was incredible.The wait staff was very nice even though at times you can get lost in the huge amount of people they are serving. We were left alone for quite awhile before getting checked on. We didnt get to try any of the main food but definitely will come back to try the pizzas. I am a big fan of the staff here! Our bartender made us feel super welcome and was just a delight. The wine list is fantastic for Italian gems and the food is delicious. Will be coming back and hanging at the bar again.

Really enjoyed my dinning experience at Beretta! Our server was great, the food came out quickly, and the drinks were yummy. We ordered the margherita and capricciosa pizzas and both were delicious. Highly recommend this place for good pizza!

Great pizza spot in the mission. They have a convenient outdoor setup and the service was quick and efficient. The waitress was awesome and very friendly. The crab arancini was the real standout and the Spanish octopus app was delicious as well. From a pizza standpoint they were solid, a traditional artisan thin crust style. Definitely something to try if you are in the mission

Ate here and was able to get patio seating. The staff were friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was great! I really enjoyed the squid ink risotto. The pizzas we got were very nice too. Will be back in the future!

I went here for my birthday yesterday with a few of my friends, and it was a great way to celebrate it. We tried this calamari appetizer with this really great sauce, and then got a couple of pizzas. The food was quite tasty, although one of the pizzas I got was a bit too spicy. It didnt entirely detract from the experience though, and the margherita pizza here was possibly one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. The lemonade was a bit tangy, but I guess thats a good contrast from the overly sweet ones Ive drank before. Overall, this restaurant is a pretty great Italian place. I hope I can go here again sometime and try the other dishes from the menu.

We had great expectations of having a good dining experience which unfortunately was not the case. My wife was brought her order first. About three to four minutes later our neice was served her order. They waited a bit before starting to eat. My nephew and I kept waiting for our food. My wife and neice finished their meals and my nephew and I were still waiting. My wife finally caught someones attention and asked about our food. A minute later my nephew and I were finally served. We had ordered about 30 minutes earlier and my wife had received her meal about 20 minutes earlier. Ive never before experienced a situation where the members of our party were not all served their meals at roughly the same time.The food was over-priced and the service was terrible. I doubt Id ever patronize the establishment again. I cannot recommend the restaurant. If I could give them a zero star or negative one star rating I would.

Ive been to Beretta multiple times and have previously recommended it.Multiple dishes are creative with a unique combination of ingredients. I dont know if they still have it, but the fava bean appetizer is one example that comes to mind.I was also happy with their tomato sauce that makes their thin crust pizzas delicious🍕!I recently went there for Happy Hour. They have HH 5 pm to 6 pm on most weekdays. The food was good but not as good as I expected given my previous experiences. The eggplant dish on the HH menu was a bit sour, the meatballs just OK and it cost $10 for just one, the prosciutto pizza good, and the Margherita pizza delicious!Other than food, the ambience is nice with a hipster vibe. I have never had a problem finding street parking.Overall, Beretta remains as a go-to restaurant.

Celebrated my birthday here- the food was absolutely delicious, and (most of) the staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely eat here again! If you need help choosing from the menu, here are some recommendations that wont disappoint (unless you dont like the ingredients) roasted beet salad, walnut bread, dungeness crab arancini, and their butternut squash ravioli. Small restaurant with big flavors at reasonable prices for high quality food. No reservations so show up early! Id recommend the squid ink risotto with a dash of the chili oil. Its been on the menu for 10 years! Match it with a bottle of red wine and enjoy the evening. It has some volume in there, definitely not quiet which I loved!

Fun place with great pizza and salad. Good wine list as well and fun specialty cocktails. Their gnocchi is very good - the dish I had was deliciously rustic and the gnocchi themselves were tender but not mushy. The wait staff was very accommodating to my vegan family members, which we always appreciate. The wait on a Saturday night was long but it was easy enough to hang out next to the bar and enjoy a cocktail while waiting for our table. We did sit outside, which is always risky in SF, but the combination of heaters and fabric walls to keep the wind at bay meant we had a very comfortable table to enjoy the meal.

Excellent food! My girlfriend and I really liked this place. We liked the outdoor dining arrangement. Perfect touch to a beautiful afternoon. However, the waitress was less than hospitable. We delt with it as we are in a pandemic, but felt like an inconvenience. Nonetheless, our experience was stellar given the circumstances.

Great place to go of you plan on eating and drinking here. I came here alone days ago to try out their dishes and drinks. It was fantastic but one minor issue was the plate sizes. For foods over 10 bucks a plate, I didnt know I would be getting dishes sized for one person per plate. It wasnt even me either, there was a group of 5 next to me and even they commented that food plate too small. Food tasted good so its not that big of a deal.

My partner and I had a later evening supper here, chosen strictly based on location and cuisine off of maps and we would definitely come back. We ate outside and had great service. We both enjoyed the caponata as an appetizer. The cavelstrano olives with fennel were a really interesting take on a standard bowl of olives and I loved the addition of fennel. My partner had a Caesar salad entree while I had brown butter cappellacci. We were entirely too full for dessert, but did enjoy coffee and will come back to try this again.

Solid food and lively atmosphere even on a Sunday night. We had a bunch of antipasti to share including the broccolini, gnocchi, walnut bread and meatballs. Also had the butternut squash risotto. Everything was good and service was great! Not an especially memorable meal but I would visit again if in the area. Quite a few tables had pizzas so will try that next time!

Ive eaten here before and I enjoy the food. However this time I ordered to go and upon my arrival the bartender made eye contact with me but did it acknowledge me to send someone over my way. I waited for quite a bit to get my food that was already ready waiting getting cold on the bar. I dont know if Im going to be patronizing this establishment If a staff member i makes eye contact with a customer however does not assist them when it is blatantly obvious they need assistance. The food is still delicious but my experience has been soured.
