High-quality, reasonably priced halal butcher — sourcing their product from all-natural, Amish farms. An excellent choice for the mindful cook, but not wanting to break the bank.On a recent visit, leg of lamb was expertly butterflied and cut into kebab pieces.The store is a well-packed source of spices, sauces, pickles, yoghurts and cheeses — anything you may want for a Middle Eastern or South Asian meal. Cheap metal bbq skewers in stock.Very friendly and helpful staff.

Super friendly people working here. My brother bought me some Palestinian zaatar here a few weeks back that was phenomenal. I put it on everything. Today we decided to have shawarma at the restaurant and we were blown away. Pickled red cabbage on top of flavorful, perfectly cooked chicken shawarma, laid on a bed rice—which featured an excellent texture and teemed with saffron. The little side salad and hummus had generous sprinklings of sumac. Fresh and delicious. We will be back!!

Excellent customer service, very fresh products...all what need from middle east products...very fresh halal meat.Recently they opened great deli for middle east food ( falafel ..shish kabab...shaworma..etc..)The deli is very very clean and new equipment..I personally recommend to anyone want to enjoy hala food ...

This is one of the best middle eastern market, and now with their new in house kitchen, they made this place complete. Their new to go items such as variety shawarmas, kebabs, and their other great selection middle eastern items are awesome. I cant say anything except that I tried pretty much all of their items, and they are excellent,and delicious. As always Mr abu mehdi, and his staff members are very awesome individuals. Thank you all for all of your great jobs.

My boyfriend & I decided to walk more often since we’ve moved closer to San Mateo Ave. We’re taking turns on choosing what place we’ll go to eat.This time it was my boyfriend’s pick. He chose “Big Joe’s.”He has a watch watering Burger 🍔 with side salad 🥗 . I had scrumptious avocado 🥑 BLT 🥪 with side salad 🥗. Both were very delicious 😋.Big Joe’s is here to stay on our yummy 😋 list.

Friendly, good place to shop for halal groceries. May be a little bit of a language barrier at times depending on who’s present. But none the less this is my go to store for all my halal meat, kids treats and pantry items.

The best place in the Bay Area if you’re looking for Halal meats different types like steaks, rib eye, fillets, organic chicken, etc, i always drive 2 hours from Oakley to get all I need from their it’s my paradise to find every international item am looking for that only can be found at Beasan, best halal meat money can buy, and the owner Abo Mahdi give us the best customer service ever, keep up the great work.

I have been shopping at this store for years, it has passed through 3 owners from when I moved to the area but the current owner is the best. They are incredibly freindly to me, even sharing treats from behind the counter that someones wife brought in. They are always helping me diligently with picking out the best spices for whatever I am cooking and explaing to me which cut of meat I need. Mostly I am impressed with how kind and respectful they are to me. It is a place I go to stock up on lebne, halal meat, dried goods and have a lovely chat about life. Oh yeah, and you can not beat the prices.

This place used to sell good meat. We were daily customer. For last six months meat quality going down and price is going higher. So sad to see them going greedy which will eventually make them looser. After having stale and completely bad meat, today I am giving up on them and will never go there again. Hope they will come back to sense before loosing all customer.

I rarely give 4 stars unless they deserve it. An Indian grocery store with variety of items that we cannot find at the markets. The store has many goods for vegans or people do not eat meat (like me).Price is very reasonable and produce are good quality. Give them a try to impress.

BEWARE OF THEIR MEAT!!! OLD STOCK and CHEATING. These guys are getting worse.They have started cheating with their meat. I have been getting goat meat from them for the last few times. Each time the experience is getting worse. These guys have been cheating for the last few times. Last time, the guy tried to cheat me by giving me an already weighed meat that was kept aside. When I noticed it, he acted as if he didnt know. This IS EXACTLY what he did with my brother as well. Now I have been given extremely old meat which is smelling really bad.

Great neighborhood small market. I love the fresh abundance of pita bread here. Ive also purchased a few special ingredients for middle eastern dishes such as tahini & spices. Employees are sweet.

A very good place to buy fresh meat being cut in front of you. They will go above and beyond for your needs and provide the best service. You can find parking behind the building. They will also order if youre looking for something specific from the provider that isnt available in Bay area.

Product wise they are doing pretty well! however, prices are slightly higher. I have a problem paying extra $$ when paying via credit card. This is the first store I have ever seen who charges extra for credit card.

We wanted eggs and maybe kabob meat. Three cartoons off eggs in fridge and all had broken crusted eggs. How long were they sitting there?At the meat counter the meat did not look fresh not looked like it was kept at right temp. The meat had looked it had a dry film.Not going back.
