This place is truly an overlooked gem in the SGV. I dont even remember how we found it, and theyre not going to win any awards for decor or atmosphere, but the proprietor is very friendly and makes tremendous food that is served fast in generous quantities at a very good price.The noodle dishes weve had here rival any weve had in southern california, including Mian at their best (like right after they opened, not in the past few years). Especially recommend the chungking noodle with red soup, dan dan noodle, and my favorite, the chungking homemade noodle, which is definitely worth the couple extra bucks for the better noodles than those that come with the regular chungking noodle. Happy to find that the prices havent increased recently, and would love to see more people eating here. Its so good!If youre a fan of really sweet drinks, order the lemon tea.Cash only. My favorite Chongqing noodle restaurant in LA. Flavorful noodle that can come with or without spice, great for family with kids. Consistent high quality, very friendly service, sweet price point, this is a fantastic restaurant to have a delightful dinner with family.

This place is an underrated gem. Great food and service, good value for the price, highly recommend for noodles. I always try to come here when Im in LA. Their specialty is their Chongqing xiao mian, Szechuan style noodles in a spicy soup. My favorite dishes are the hand made noodles (its a specific dish) and the glass noodles. They also have yummy appetizers like pig ear, preserved duck egg with peppers, and salted duck. I hope they get more business since we were the only customers during the one hour we were there on a Monday night.

This place is just like its name. Bold and pure. Its literally one of the best noodle places that I have been to. I really enjoyed Youpomian(Vegan Hot Oil Noodles) when my friend invited me here in November. So I decided that I have to come back soon. Today was not the best day for dinning because I had my dog with me and my car was away for maintenance. But after my pleading, the staff quickly agreed to set up a table outside the restaurant in the parking lot under the shades for me & my dog which is very heart warming and kind. I highly appreciate their hospitality and flexibility to serve their customer. They dont have to do that. But theyre willing to work extra to make customers happy. Its really rare to find a place with both tasty food and super nice service in the area. If you want authentic Chinese Szechuan noodles. This is the place.

The name doesnt lie! I love this place and greatly enjoy coming here. Truly the best noodles I have ever tasted. I reccomend this place with 100%!!

Five star for good services. I think this is a family owned restaurant. The grandma came out and asked us how the food is. The food is not the best, but pretty descent, better than other Chinese noodle restaurants. Ill come back try other stuff.

This place gave me food poisoning. I would never eat here ever ever again. This place is filthy dirty with rats and cockroaches I cant believe anybody would eat at this place

Really good. Nice clean area, soups are very delicious and service is wonderful. I found my favorite noodle place now.

Recently visited after the pandemic and was reminded why it’s so good. The double pepper beef noodle is the best we’ve tried.
