This was a nicely appointed hotel, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. My only negative comment is to make sure that your room is not on the side of the hotel nearest the street! We were awakened several times during the night by motorcycles and loud cars. Not the fault of the hotel specifically but it did play into the overall experience.
I was traveling from Sacramento with my family 4 months pregnant just lost my husband my grandma and mom are handicapped we got there around 10:00 I ended up falling asleep I had some luggage on top of the car but I was parked by the office in the handicap and there was security so I felt like my stuff would be safe woke up the next morning and it was all gone Hotel wasnt trying to help cooperate or anything I would not recommend this hotel to anyone even the police came out and told me that that hotel is not people friendly
4 stars for what it is. Nothing fancy. But they are clean and have a decent breakfast.Can’t get better than that for the best western.Overall I’d say it’s a good western.The Lyft/Uber instructions (the entrance is hard to get to) drop you off at the side. We just then set instructions to the dennys next door, which was easier than trying to get them to figure out how to get to the entrance of the hotel
Overall, it was very good. The only complaint I have is all the noise from the hallway, the outside traffic and the room above. The sound insulation is not very good.
Definitely a good option for those catching a cruise. Room was clean and fair sized.Cons:They seem to have gotten the hot and cold taps mixed up in our room, as hot is cold and vice versa in both the sink and the bath.The windows facing the street must be paper thin as even the smallest motor could be heard... And considering the hotel is right by a main artery the traffic noise was horrendous. We travel with a small white noise machine which was a life saver.Not much going on around this property.Hot tub was a warm tub.For what you get it was quite expensive.Pros:Distance to the cruise ship ports.Right off the the highway with a bus stop right there, great for those wanting to take the bus/metro system.Typical hotel breakfast, but it was fresh with friendly service.
We stayed at this Best Western the night before we left on our cruise. We chose it because we were able to park our car there for the 7 days we were cruising. The area around it isnt the greatest, and the inside reception area is a bit shabby, but the room was attractive, the king size bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had toiletries. The receptionist was helpful and accommodating. There was plenty of parking and they had wifi.

You get what you pay for. Very close to the cruise terminals but also VERY close to the freeway. Be prepared for a lot of traffic noise and speeding motorcycles at all hours.The room itself was okay; beds and pillows were clean but stiff. Breakfast was included and pretty standard for a hotel. Parking was abundant however our GPS pointed us to the Denny’s next door, which is not connected to the property.If you’re in a pinch and need a place close to the cruise terminals to stay for the night, I’d consider this place. Pretty affordable and again, I got what I paid for.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is right next to the cruise terminals for Royal Caribbean. They have a good amount of parking for your vehicle, the rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet at night, they have security who comes around at night and walks the premises which Im not entirely sure is needed because this appears to be an okay side of town, but its nonetheless appreciated. I gave it only for stars because the lobby itself was a little dirty, not much, but still needed attended to, and the elevator was a little dirty and needed to be scrubbed down. Other than those two things we have no complaints. We will be using this hotel again in the future when we need to go to the cruise terminals.

Hotel service was very welcoming! My room was cleaned and i didn’t even ask and I’m okay with that! Room was spacious and clean! Bed is comfy! For the price i thought it was a good stay. Not to far depending on what your coming in town for.
We stayed at a lot of hotels this past month and this was the best. Good room and excellent location. We were in a room away from the highway so we didnt have too much noise, so thats my suggestion if you choose to stay here.
For the location it was reasonable, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. We were on the street side and the noise was horrible. Convenient for catching a cruise, but if not Id stay anywhere else.
In December of 2022 our personal vehicle was stolen from this hotel while we were on a cruise. The reason we stayed here was because they told us they had 24hr camera surveillance & a security guard. That made us feel safe in leaving our vehicle here. A police report was filed. When I asked manager Lorena if I could speak to supervisor or owner of property she stated that they “don’t live here or speak any English” I had to ask her to refund me the night stay I had paid $155, they acted as if I was bothering them in asking for any help with this stressful situation. Very disappointing & frustrating!!

It was ok. Close to cruise port, but difficult location to get to. Have to always do an illegal U-turn to get to the entrance. Parking is very tight. Sketchy location. Hotel is older and was not clean and seemed like it hadn’t been vacuumed for awhile. Room was spacious, and everything worked. That is the only reason why the hotel got any stars at all. There was a very scary and loud domestic violence situation that happened the last morning we were there. It happened two rooms down and when we reported to the front desk, they said they knew them and it was common and to ignore it. That’s NOT okay to me!!
Don’t expect to get any sleep here. There is a LOT of traffic noise all night long & the walls between the rooms are also really thin. The TV from the room next door was blaring all night & when it went momentarily quiet, I could hear a guy talking on his phone from a room across the hall. The A/C was also loud & rattley & everything is run down & grimy. My mattress had a canyon worn into it, so I lay on a diagonal to try to sleep on the high spot.
Hotel is old needs updating. You can smell old carpet from the hallway. Its hard to get into the entrance coming from the freeway exit. They offer free breakfast and vendo machines in every floor.Its an ok hotel for a very short stay.

Our stay at this location was very pleasant. The place was clean and our unit was up to date. The breakfast was great with everything that one can expect from a buffet style self serve service. The crew is very welcoming and make every effort to make feel important and comfortable . There is also a vending machine, and laundry area for the guest in case that they require to refresh their clothes...prices are $1.75 for wash load, $1.50 drier...way less that a regular laundry mat. We are very pleased with our experience at this hotel.
The room was a nice size and clean upon arrival however, the TV was showing a speaker with sound and it would come on and off. Reported it to the receptionist and he said it was nothing he could do until the next day. He would need to speak to the manager to move me to another room so my son went behind the TV and fixed the problem because the person told me security would have to go with me to get another room I remain in the same room until the next day and left I had booked for 6 days. After checking out my bill was change I was charge in advance. And not a pending charge for a deposit. I will file a complaint with the proper authorities and possibly discrimination due to the way some Best Western hotels deal with African Americans.

Conveniently located. OK customer service. Close the ports, piers, restaurants and almost anything. The rooms are spacious and for the most part clean. Unfortunately we had roaches in the room. The bathrooms need updating as the tiles have mildew which probably helps feed the insects and the showers heads are loose as well as the handles. Im wondering if Health Department knows about this since they do serve food to guests in the mornings. The rooms feels very humid and stale. Not the worst but with the rates they charge (a little high for what theyre worth) they could do a whole lot updating, refacing and cleanup. Shame on you Best Western, you used to be it back in the day! Not anymore...
It was completely redone since covid so the room was really nice. Beds were comfy. People were so nice at check in. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star is because the second night our key didnt work and then the morning that we left the power went out luckily we set our cell phone alarms. We always stay here when we are officiating the long beach grand prix.
Its reasonably near the beaches but a hit far from everything else in LA.Service wise it is better than most fancy hotels: proper service, good guidance, they offer a decent breakfast (continental options).The rooms are a bit older but they are clean and they even have a microwave which is handy.
This place is Great! I stayed in an Executive Suite for $100 + tax per night. It was a for Business and Personal get away..I was Homeless on the Streets of Los Angeles CA, Harbor City and Long Beach for several days. My Sister Hooked me up with this Hotel BEST IN THE WEST for sure. Clean, Good Hearty Breakfast, Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. Close to Dennys, the 110 Fwy and Fuel Station. Only 15-20 minutes from the Beach Cities.
I dont know much about the locations around it, but it was a pretty quiet place to stay in. There were no noisy neighbors and there was a little debris from the remodelling outside the rooms but other than that, it was fine. The employees were all very friendly and I met a security guard early in the morning who explained that he would be patrolling the outskirts of the hotel from 10 to 6 to keep out solicitors or other disturbances outside the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the place had the items neatly placed. Overall, I loved it. Thank you.
If you like to hear sirens and drag races all day and night, stay here. The 110 freeway and PCH highway intersect right outside the motel and its noisy and hard to sleep here without earplugs. Elevator breaks pretty often. Had to switch rooms due to a burned up A/C unit. Second room I had to clean the clogged A/C filters myself. If my stay wasnt work related and free, I wouldnt stay here by choice.
The hotel was clean. But the location is awful. It locates right next to a highway exit and it took me multiple u turns to find the entrance. Then the highway exit is very very noisy, even with the window closed. The mattress is extremely noisy. Popcorn mattress. You can literally hear yourself moving each time you move while you sleep. It is impossible to sleep here...
The location is great with many restaurants aroundthe area. The staff is awesome from front desk to maintenance. The rooms are clean and well maintained, as the beds are very comfortable and comes with plenty of comfortable pillows. The amenities in the rooms are nice as well.
WAY OVER PRICED DO NOT STAY HERE! The Worst smelling Hotel in all of Los Angeles! The hallways and rooms stink like cigarettes as soon as you walk in. The employees give absolutely zero effort to serve you any convince or comfort. PROPERTY WAS ALSO STOLEN FROM MY ROOM. I left a piece of jewelry on the night stand and went to check out. I came back to reclaim my property and it was stolen by the house keepers and I could not reclaim my property that I know I left on the night stand. The employees gave zero effort to find my stolen property nor did they actually look. Again zero effort by the employees here. You can also hear absolutely everything at all hours of night you will hear people running banging and yelling all night long. EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE AND INCONVENIENT STAY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

About 3.5 stars but still highly recommended. You cant beat their generous extended parking policy if youre going on a cruise nearby. The room was very nicely modernized and had plenty of amenities (TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron, comfy chair, desk, etc), albeit some of those things are a little clunky. Our tub didnt hold water well and the key card lock was tricky. It is true that the walls are paper thin so you will hear everyone and everything. Their Continental breakfast was VERY well stocked and delicious. Staff was generally friendly. Despite a few hiccups, I recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget looking for a nice place.
Recently stayed here for two days. On arrival my room had ashes in the sink and there was no hot water. They treat the continental breakfast like a concentration camp.The 2nd day, I was in the lobby drinking coffee, having a brief morning chat with another guest (observing the the 6ft rule) when I noticed the security guard filming us with her phone. I wont stay there again.
Clean, comfortable hotel. Morning breakfast has a nice variety of food. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stay here the night before we leave on a cruise, parking is free for a week, then its $10 a day after. Highly recommend this hotel.
This place may a bit out of the way from Downtown Los Angeles, but they have very great service. The front desk agent that I spoke to on 06/11/18 was very polite and professional. The rooms are clean and neat each night that I return to retire for the night. The room service is amazing, none of my items were ever moved from where I left them. Nothing came up missing either. I still have 2 nights to go, but so far so good. I would recommend this place for sure and would stay again if Im ever back in LA.
The room is clean and beds are comfy. The only things I didnt like are not enough outlet in the room, not enough channels to watch, breakfast needs more flavor and just need to add bacon or sausage but other than that room smells clean, staff are friendly and you will sleep good at this hotel. Definitely will recommend this place.

Rooms were nice and large. Overall clean hotel. Great breakfast offered.Maid service was very lacking, would not clean rooms, or replace towels/soaps/empty trash/make beds. We had to ask twice for maid service.The front desk was very helpful and service oriented.
Hotel room was in great shape and newly updated. The whole hotel is older, but their renovations help keep it looking new and modern. Only downfall is it’s right by the freeway but they are so kind to provide you with ear plugs. We didn’t need them, wasn’t that bad/loud. Breakfast was nothing spectacular at all-go to Denny’s next door.
The check in was great. They let check in early due are flights being early..Room was clean..clean..Very friendly staff (Yolanda) and the other staff was great. The TV station not alot of channel but bed was great.. FREE Breakfast was on point....I recommend this hotel for a good comfortable stay..Denny that next door gives you a discount on you meal.. if you show you hotel key.. Kid eat free 4-10 on weekend..
We stayed for 1 night before boarding our Cruise. The property is not bad, parking is a bit narrow - so beware if you drive a big suv. Staff not very friendly, but not rude. Just kind of blah. Our room, while very clean, needed serious updating. Beds were very bouncy, decor and fixtures old. A/C worked well but was quite loud.
Price was fair and very friendly! The rooms are very spacious and clean. Had all the amenities: wifi/cable TV/fridge/microwave/very generous amount of storage space and closet space. Cons: No free breakfast due to covid-19. Parking is tight and location is at an awkward area when entering the property and exiting. Can be dangerous but overall it was near fastfood, freeway, gas station, stores.
Had business in So Cal so stayed two nights. Very impressed by staff, facilities and amenities. Everything worked well so no complaints. 24 hr Dennys next door is very convenient. Lots of parking. Easy access to 110 freeway. Will definitely stay there again if I have business in the area.
The entire staff including house keeping was filled with smiles, generosity, warm hearts, kindness, caring and respect. Especially the front desk staff! Rooms were very well taken care of with FREE cleaning everyday regardless of how long your there. Pool and hot tub were located on sight outside. Beds were relaxing but not the greatest. The continental breakfast tho is a must offering waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, juices, hot tea, milk, and coffee. This is THE place to stay for the price you PAY!!!

Expensive for what it is. Hotel was run down, room a/c barely worked. Breakfast was seriously lacking. Room above us had loud kids yelling out the window and loud bass all morning as we were getting ready to checkout. Couldnt believe they wanted a $200 deposit for this place
The hotel was easy to access, and had its own parking structure on the same property as the hotel. The room itself was very clean and spacious. Had a great selection of TV channels and had a nice laminated TV channel guide, for channel navigation. Refrigerator and microwave were clean. Had a hair dryer in the room, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed being there. We paid for a room/breakfast. But they werent serving breakfast because of Covid. Being able to book a room and breakfast, but not getting a breakfast during this time, I believe, was Booking.coms fault. Otherwise, our whole experience there was great.
Not sure where to start. I arrived late, checked in. That went fine. I noticed that the lobby and elevator where more dirty than is typical in a hotel lobby. I shrugged it off and headed to my room, only to find what looked like a blood stain the size of a fist awaiting inside my door.Id needed to pee since I left the airport an hour ago, so I rushed into the bathroom and found 3 cockroaches staring at me. I quickly killed these, and flipped my mattresses to check for other creepy crawlies. Thankfully Ive found none.The next morning, as I was taking a shower, I looked up and noticed 2 areas of black mold.Im still here for work the next 25 days and am not sure if I should ask for another room or just go to another hotel.This hotel is a really nice 4 min from where Im working, so its kinda a hard decision.
Because the staff were excellent, Mannie Michael alma habibi reneva.laura in the kitchen and her assistant a young mexican girl im sorry her name eludes me. The buffet was great just great.room service was brilliant and the gentleman in charge was fantastic. Highly recommend willmington the town is great the bus out the fornt goes to longwood ect .yes there are dangerous people in every state in the worldme i found the place courteous and will definitley be back.
I stay at this hotel whenever I fly in on business. Clean, well-maintained rooms, very nice hot breakfast, pleasant staff. Theres a Dennys right next door.WiFi is adequate: my room tested out at a consistent 7-10 mbits/sec, plenty fast for email, browsing and some streaming video. The password worked on multiple devices simultaneously which was great.Parking is a bit tight but workable.My only real complaint has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but that it is in a very noisy area. Trucks, horns, sirens and loud motorcycles until the weekend hours of the morning. You know your in for it when the maids leave a couple pairs of foam earplugs on the dresser.
Nice room, good shower. Wonderful breakfast layout and offerings. Best hotel waffle I had in a long time. There is a serious lack of outlets in the room. I may have to start packing a surge protector/power strip as this is common.
Good rates per night and excellent location to stay compared to other sites throughout the city. Check-in staff was very friendly and even more helpful with me and my friends the next morning when guiding us to the breakfast lounge. Rooms and beds were very clean and serviced nicely both mornings while we were away. Television and free wifi made the stay more comfortable and the buildings location was easily accessible from the street. This place will be a definite go-to spot whenever we come back.

Yasmin was fantastic! Her friendliness and attention to detail was outstanding. I was the first to enter the dinning area when breakfast opened. No only was she attentive (asking if I needed anything etc.), but I noticed how she would continue to work to keep the dinning area just as sparkling as it was when I got there. She would wipe up small splashes or spills behind the guests as soon as they occurred. And would greet and engage them as well when they entered. I truly felt more like I was eating breakfast at a friends house then out on the road! I travel often for both work and pleasure, and I must say that she is head and shoulders above the rest! You guys have got something here, do your best to keep her!
The hotel itself is very nice but the area around it is a bit dodgy. The room was clean and well presented. The TV in my room had a nasty habit of making this loud buzzing sound as if electrically shorting out. Irritating. The continental breakfast was standard for Best Western hotels. I stay at Best Western hotels because they have common standards wherever they are located.

This place is great for rooms that smell like gross tobacco! Also awesome place for broken toilets!! Ohhhhh and they have lovely AC units that are from the 80s that do not work UNLESS you consider hot air from a fan working!
Rooms were reasonably comfortable but not in the best repair. Front desk discounted our bill by $15 for the inconvenience of not having a locking bathroom door. Housekeeping was less than stellar, and asked if we needed maid service at 4:30 in the afternoon. Probably would pay a little more next time to stay somewhere else.
Dear all,Nice hotel, but sometime not for beginners. Most of the important services are present: onsite parking, coin laundry machines and functional rooms. Breakfast wasnt available but the restaurant is literally next to the hotel.Housekeepers does a great job with the rooms, but some sort of remodel should take place in the common areas.
Our stay was pleasant, the staff were friendly and the breakfast is better than other hotels options.
This is a very nice hotel. It is clean, The staff is very professional. The managment of hotel in all the various areas to manage are very caring about their guests, their staff and the hoteLs REPUTATION on general. The water pressure in shower is awesome. There is a swimming pool and laundry facilities for guest to use. I cant forget the beds. They are the next best thing to home they are very comfortable.
A little overpriced for what you get. Smells like malt liquor and cheap tobacco. However the room was exceptionally clean. Staff is friendly. I wish it was closer to 100 a night, but I only needed one night anyway.
Good big rooms. Clean facilities, decent breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Slight shame the pool isnt heated, theres no change facilities and they dont want you to use the lift after, you have to climb the stairs to your room.
Quality Bedrooms with beautiful Bedding. Very close to the San Pedro Port so we spent our pre-boarding night for a beautiful Princess Cruise here [with FREE parking for 7 nights...$100+ less than at all other equal local hotels]. Best All?? Staff Members Gilbert and Pamela were extremely warm, helpful good representatives for large hotel chain.
Great place to stay! Staff are always friendly and smiling. Great breakfast and lots of things to chose from to eat. Nice clean spacious room. Well furnished and huge bed. Wifi was fast. Location could be better as its next to a noisy street. But overall great experience
I came here because our original plans fell through for accommodation and things book out quick and I was in a wedding so it just needed to be close to the venue but not super pricey being as we had a lot to do and I needed several days.It is right off the free way however its a left turn on a very busy road so I just went to the light ever time maybe in the off season you can make a left with out waiting forever. But that wasnt to bug of a deal. It isnt in the best neighborhood so I would not leave anything in your car that is visible that being said. It has a good lit up parking lot which is nice. Bring wish clothes I dont know if they had a shortage or what I have really long hair so usually need a towel for my hair and body yeah they are really stingy about that. They also for two people gave us one wash cloth and one hand towel. Was kind of annoying. Even when we asked for them. Fortunately I brought beach towels so we made it work. They do have a pool and hot tub its small but fine the ph was off by alot though it was super foggy and not very clean. We noticed the same garbage was left on the tables and ground everyday and accumulating. The room was fairly clean. Not as clean as I would have liked but not to the point that we felt the need to leave just wear slippers your feet will be instantly black. We also had to wiped things down ourselves. They had breakfast it was typical what you would expect only bummer is the eggs were ice cold so I dont know what happened there. So I guess I would say If you just need a place to sleep this place will do we didnt have much time to spend here anyways which was for the best. All in all I wouldnt stay here again for the price I wish I had picked the other place but it wasnt the worse either. I am not sure why it has the reviews it has but Im its fine.
Very loud traffic noise all night. Windows and walls are thin and dont filter out much of this noise. They do provide ear plugs in the rooms, so this is a known issue. Otherwise, this is a clean and nice hotel with decent breakfast with friendly staff.
Location was convenient & thats about it. Asked for extra towels, received them & housekeeping took them away. Therefore had to get more towels during stay. Housekeeping took all day to clean room. At 3pm, room still wasnt clean. Toilet broken, but it was fixed by the time we returned to room.
Location was very close to cruise pier. Free parking while on cruise. One of the best continental breakfast I have had. .. downside- very noisy, next to freeway, and toilet was plugged the entire time, old hotel from the indoor smoking era.
It was quite nice, I stayed there before I think it has had a few different names over the years but this stay was quite pleasant and I enjoyed the staff and the room. They have taken the safety precautions that all other hotels have for COVID and it was nice and clean and I got some great rest
Nothing fancy. Clean, convenient. Plenty of free coffee, Continental breakfast. 10% discount at Dennys (youll have to ask the waitress). Convenient access to train and freeway.
Very nice hotel for the price, staff friendly and polite, room clean and well-maintained. King size bed which, as a tall person, I very much appreciated. Room has no microwave, but does have a refrigerator. Full breakfast available though (I had eggs and sausage, and some pretty decent coffee.) Beats the usual Continental Breakfast of fruit and granola bars. One very positive feature is solid Wi-Fi. For a hotel network its great: it tested out at 23 mbit/sec down, 25 mbit/sec up, and I was able to run Duo, Hangouts, Netflix, Skype and Plex with no issues. Very happy with that. The only complaint I have is that my room (Im sitting in it as I write this) has very few electrical outlets. If youre someone like me that has a lot of electronics, bring a power strip. Thats not enough for me to dock them a star though, as Im having a very pleasant experience.

It’s been almost a week and the itch has not subside and the bites are still there.I got some trash bags to put our belongings in so I don’t transport those bedbugs to my home!-Manager John: The employees was expecting him to be here at 10:30am but he was late... has no compassion that we didn’t get much sleep and had to drive 5 hours back home!He has no people skills, very rude and looks like he hates his job.He offer to give me 30% for one day stay:For what?!1) The risk of getting those bugs to my house?2) The lack of sleep the night prior?!3) Super itchy bite marks that won’t go away?!I DID NOT PAY TO GET BITE AND NO DAMN SLEEP!Damn inconsiderate fool!- Thin walls- Fire alarm is detached from the ceilings and just hanging on to dear life.For the past few years Best Western has been the only hotel I stay whenever I travel and this hotel is by far the worst.You been warned, stay at your own risk![End Rant]
I dont care for the location. I asked for a roll away bed and microwave they didnt have it. The parking is horrible, the forth floor is hot and my room smelled like a man lives there. Also my TV didnt work and the breakfast had mold in my yogurt. The elevator had graffiti In it so that what make me think the area is not that good. The one good thing I can say I will not return and the staff and nice personalities .
This hotel is terrible the rooms smell like smoke the tv is old and out dated and does not work. Beds are rock hard and dirty sheets. I have slept in better hotels in Mexico than here. Should be more like a $20 a night instead of the rate they are charging!
Great for cruise goers. Not far from the ports, free underground parking with a restaurant within walking distance. If the governor of the state would allow seating in the dining areas to be opened back up to would be better.

Good hotel if you are cruising on a 7 day cruise out of San Pedro. You receive 7 days of free parking if you stay at the BW Worldport.The room I stayed in was on the 3rd floor and looked to the back of the hotel. It was very quiet, breakfast was fine with some hot selections and the hotel is right next to a Dennys where we had a good dinner.Wifi was free and fairly fast. TV had my favorite station, Discovery Channel.
Good value for the money (paid $110/night on the weekend), given the proximity to and hotel prices in Long Beach. Breakfast was typical continental style, limited seating. Pool and hot tub were open and the water was clear. Parking is a bit cramped and inconveniently situated. Shower water was hot and room was clean with no odors.
Sadly, our room reeked of animal urine. Very obviously there had been a dog lo led in the bathroom. There were significant painted over dog scratch marks inside the door and it was just overwhelming. Even with the bathroom door closed you could smell it in the room. I like to leave positive reviews, but when I notified the girl at the desk, she just smiled and said, thank you .
This is a standard Best Western with comfortable rooms. The advantage here is the cruise parking policy. We were on a 19-day Panama Canal cruise and parked our car free for 14 days with an additional 5 days for $10 per day. A huge savings over parking at the terminal. A Best Western employee explained the policy incorrectly at first, and another cruise passenger staying at the hotel mentioned the actual policy, which the desk person verified. The front desk person also called a taxi for us to take us to the cruise terminal. All-in-all an outstanding offer from this Best Western for anyone on a cruise.
Best hotel in LA county. I would never consider staying elsewhere. Location is ideal, corner of PCH and Hwy 110. You can explore the entire city, including the fabulous beaches, using this BW as a home base. Parking is sheltered, secure and free! The staff keeps the property immaculate (muchas gracias Laura) and they give valuable advice regarding traffic and tourist destinations. Check-in with Lorena was efficient and check-out with Alma was super smooth. Everything in between was wonderful. Thanks again for another delightful stay!
Im not sure on the price cause my bf paid for the room b4 I got there but nice clean rooms come with Microwave, Fridge & A Big Screen TV w/remote + A Bath Tube & Shower! Plus they also have a nice size Swimming Pool.
The rooms didnt look like the website. We killed 2 spiders and a roach, breakfast was not good, I was bitting I think by a spider twice while sleeping on my right arm. Not a very good place to stay. No ice machine on the 2nd floor.
I wouldnt even give this 1 star!! It was infested with roaches!! I Complained to the manager John as soon as we got into our room and seen it crawling on the wall, showed them pictures and he stated they have been having the problem for awhile now and have an exterminator come spray every 2 weeks. The next morning found another roach in the breakfast area by the waffle maker. When we showed the employee working, she said Im so sorry, we cant seem to get rid of them She then switched out the waffle maker.. my family left immediately feeling so gross to our stomachs! The manager said he could only offer us a 30% discount, but after we left we have not heard from him again. And Expedia who we reserved our room through cannot get in contact with him now either! Worse experience ever!!
Good clean hotel. Confortable bed. Back to hot breakfast. Thought it would be noisy, but rooms at back are quiet. Parking can be tight.
Very nice clean hotel. The staff is really nice too. The only issue is the location can be difficult to get to. However if you go into the Dennys parking lot and and make a U turn you will be on the right side of the street which you can easily get into the parking lot that way.

One of the worst stays ever. Vomit on curtains, freeway noise non stop, tv turning on and off, beds hard, mini fridges very noisy. Just a bad experience all around, dont get me started on the mold in the rooms down the hall that they are remodeling, smell it all the way down the hall.
The staff was thoughtful and very accommodating. We got in at 5 a m for some much needed rest, checkout is 11 a m. The desk clerk gave us until noon so we could rest and shower! Thank you.
Four of us stayed at this hotel before and after our cruise. We were pleased with the amenities and the proximity to the port and airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone leaving on a cruise from the port. They have underground parking and allow vehicles to be parked there.
There was a bit of an issue that we had with our booking through Expedia. Thankfully Gilbert at the front desk helped us get a room for the night. The room was decent although there were sheets all over the floor, which we were a tripping hazard. The breakfast was ok but the room was a bit compact.
The hotel is in great location. Clean. The staff is the only thing that is not good. The guy in the front desk is rude and seems like he is in bad mood all the time. Not friendly at all.
It is equipped with old spring mattresses, cleannes was not good at all. Very poor breakfast, just an apple and a snack! Too much noisy location. Did not like it!
This is a very nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect. It is right off the 110 freeway and within minutes to Long Beach terminal where we were going on a cruise ship. They also allow you to park your vehicle at the hotel while you’re on the cruise at no additional charge. Thank you very much management.
Very nice designed, spacious inside and out parking is plenty and gated within easy access. location of hotel is a bit away from downtown. front desk at all best western are exceptional and most friendly.
Parking was very hard small spaces. Air conditioner sounded like a Jack hammer they even offer ear plugs but it doesnt help. Has marijuana smell in elevator and throughout hallways.no grass area for service animal.also Dilbert the Gilbert at front desk seemed a little to rude for hospitality at check in he did not want to accommodate me was displeased with his attitude
This location is clean and very well managed. I would highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are large and very well decorated and parking is at no additional charge. Very close to the freeway as well. Very good value for the price.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. A little noisy due to it being located right beside the freeway, but not enough to keep me up. There was a little glitch with my reservation being cancelled, when I had just called the week before to confirm it, but the manager was very good and got involved right away to remedy the situation.
Had a great stay, Lovely Motel. - However, we had a long drive over on Friday, and went to bed early. Was awoken at midnight by first a phone call, which stopped before I could answer it, and then by someone banging on my door stating that I had parked in a Handicap space with no sticker. I told him to go out and look at the License plate and quit disturbing me. His name was Richard and he worked for iSecure, the patrol people hired by Best Western. He was an idiot, but unfortunately I was unable to get back to sleep and have asked for a one night credit because of it.
House keepers were indeed very helpful. The rest of the staff was lazy, and NO where to be found. The entire 3rd floor was under major construction all day & night. Asbestos dust all over us. Huge boxes and materials blocked our door way. Plus loud vulgar words the workers chose to use. Loud Spanish music echoed throughout the unsafe hallway. We spent way to much $money$ inna place where we got NO SLEEP! IM NOT HAPPY!
We stayed at this hotel from Dec. 31/16-Jan. 2/17. Location was great for the area. Staff were friendly. Check in-out were painless, they even let us check -in 1 hour earlier because the rooms were ready. We didnt get the rollaway bed we requested, however, the staff gladly equipped us with extra sheets and blankets to make a comfortable bed on the floor for the 5th person in our room. We were even able to enjoy the fireworks from our rooms on New Years Eve. Close to the Harbour at Long Beach for the Fire Works and the Whale watching and Pacific Aquarium. Breakfast was OK. The usual Waffle maker, bagels, mini muffins, danishes, yoghurt, cold boiled eggs. No hot items. Also surprisingly, they didnt have any tea bags int he room, and only had Lipton Orange Pekoe in the breakfast room. Pool was under renovation. Wi-Fi works great most of the time. Limited TV channels but who cares because we didnt come to watch TV.
The price was $80 for two beds, which is about average but the beds were nice to sleep in. They had newspapers for free, the room was large, the front desk help was a small young spanish speaking girl that was annoyed that I was there interrupting her texting or cell phone activity. She treated me like an annoyance rather than important. The heater in my room was difficult to get working, it was disfunctional. There are not rooms on the first floor, they are all 2nd and 3rd floor rooms, you have to take the elevator. It is next to a freeway intersection and so it is very noisy in the front rooms, if I stayed there again, and I may, I would pick a back room away from the street. Over all, it was just ok!
The room was very old, smelly and dated. Not worth the price I paid. There was many gross stains on the floor. The smell was very unpleasant, the ceiling had a crack in it. The floor looked like it was 20 years old and smelled stale.
Great service. Breakfast is ok. Parking is horrible! :(But overall I enjoyed my stay here. The girls helping with breakfast are nice, very talkative and attentive. :)

It was honestly really nice! I went with 3 other people which made the stay even better. The staff at the desk were very welcoming. Just needs faster room cleaning.
Its too bad several of us from our Union wanted to rent a room at Best Western in Wilmington California off of Pacific Coast Highway, for a week we were told that it would be $99 for the first three nights, the fourth night would be a hundred and nineteen and the fifth night would be 139.00 and it just keeps going up. Its too bad they lost out on a lot of money. We are working people from out of town, I guess that means nothing no more!
Semi hard to get to durring peak traffick times. Staff is nice. Water running through pipes is loud enough to wake a light sleeper. Walls are thin enough you can almost make out conversations in the next room. Cable is lacking and half the channels dont come in well.
This place has suites! We booked 16 rooms here. The staff was very accommodating to our group. Great place to stay to park your vehicle if you are going on a cruise.

I didnt enjoy the security guard watching my every move like I was some type of suspect or something. It was like he was bored and decided to just harass me for no reason at all. He really creeped me out and made me feel very uncomfortable there during my visit

The neighborhood is in armpit traffic like New York City can be very difficult pulling out into traffic but the buildings kept in pretty good shape and for about a hundred bucks a night in a check out time of 12:00 noon or thereafter if you choose its a pretty good deal is the Dennys next door open 24 hours and other convenience stores and fast food nearby its directly off the 110 freeway at Pacific Coast Highway so that can be advantageous

Have been staying here for 2 nights so far and have 2 nights to go. I have requested on 3 occasions to have the TV fixed or replaced in our room. It keeps turning itself off several times in an hour and is obviously faulty. Surely we could get a replacement.

Nice rooms, but request rooms on the back side of the hotel. The front rooms are too noisy, all the traffic noise from the street and I110. With all the noise, its hard to have a good night sleep.

Man in front office lied and said they dont accept cash only credit. Then have us stand in the lobby for 10 minutes while they change shifts & the next guy says the can all a sudden. Great BW hotel but dont let the name fool you. It is not the closest to the world port cruise center. So that was my fault. Breakfast was the usual fare. Staff was nice and attentive.

Ive been staying at best western every time i travel and thats often and i have never had a bad experience until i tried checking in to this one here i dont know why and i dont care but the front desk girl was rude very rude i had a checking at 2 pm and she said not until 4pm because maids had no rooms clean mind you check out is at 11 am and Ive made that reservation 2 months ago i said ok cancel it and she got mad saying it was not possible as i would be charged fully for it ya right well i cancelled and stayed elsewhere
I’m working in the area for around 3.5 to 4 months. I asked for a microwave to put in the cabinet that was made for one and was told no. I asked them to ask the manager if it was possible to get one and the next day was still told no. The Breakfast had the worst eggs and sausage that I’ve ever seen at any Best Western and I have stayed at many.

There was no safe in the room only at the lobby, but the personal was very strusty as they did return a pair of Bose headphones that I forgot in the lobby table

Quite disappointed with this Best Western hotel. Floor was not vacuumed, the bedsheet was not a fitted one but a regular sheet that came all undone, the room was not arranged, the bathtub is clogged.

Two people were in my room when I walked in--I was told they were plumbers (really? Older Asian couple? With no tools?); changed rooms because a/c wasnt working well; sand in the sink in new room; remote wouldnt turn on TV; ladder left in the hallway; power went out in the middle of the night with no room emergency lighting (and phone didnt work)
This place is wonderful!! Employees that work there were all wonderful!! We would like to especially say thank u to the house keeping staff and the supervisor u guys were amazing!! Definitely 5 stars!!

The trip was mix of work and family duty. I worked at the Kaiser Medical Center up the street and visited my Mom who was South on PCH. Best location to get both activities completed.

Purchased the package for a night stay and parking while on the cruise, it was a really good deal and felt my car was a bit safer than being parked in the cruise parking area. The room was spacious and clean. Altho the fwy is very close we were not affected by traffic noise and got a good night sleep.

Denny’s next door with surprisingly good food. A little noisy in the evening (children with loud cars mostly) but was quiet by 10pm and stayed so thru the night. Staff was pleasant.

Dont just keep spraying its dark dungeon nastiness with Febreze. Many parts and pieces of the room and hallways were a patchwork of poor repair jobs.

Road noise was unbelievable and there was never a down time on traffic - horrible. Find a hotel a little farther away that you can get some sleep.Can’t believe they have a $200 deposit for this place .
