Positive: the hotel and rooms were very clean. Negative: the vending machine was to expensive $5 for a candy bar.
Up-to-date location rooms are nice (jus like on website) staff is friendly. Housekeeping ladies are non stop . This place even smells CLEAN! Elevator hallways .The only thing is that our rooms ac/heat wouldnt turn off. Tv remote was tripping, and found an open used bar of soap in shower.
Had a great weekend. Friendly staff. Room was great, clean etc... Also loved the pool and jacuzzi. Will definitely stay again when passing through.
Excellent place to stay. Fair price compare to other places. Clean and comfortable rooms. Non smoking policy is really in place. They offer a variety of choices for breakfast (coffee, bagels, egg, sausage, oatmeal, fruits, pancakes, yogurt). The only complain I have which there may be no issue for other people is that you can’t adjust the AC. I was fine with that but my wife wasn’t.
Really nice hotel, great location, great staff. Friendly to PCT hikers with a nice pool and hot tub. Theres a computer and printer in the lob for guests.
Great personal service. (Unlike Best Western Sure Stay next door. Their customer service was so poor that we cancelled, spent an additional $20 for the Best Western Plus. Worth every penny).
This property sure has changed for the worse since my first visit here when it was new and the employees spoke English and cared about their guests. It’s like they don’t care at all and could care less we go out of our way to stay at a BW property. The last couple visits for me and my employees have been a series of issues. Next time and from now on it’s the Holiday Inn Express for us! The ice machine worked well, I guess that was a bonus.
Very clean and quiet. the only thing didnt like, they dont provide drinking water in the rooms, you must bring your own water, and for the price they should do it. Coffee makers too small.
It was my first time to stop in Tehachapi. I really like the location of the hotel. Nice for walking. Great stay!
If it wasn’t prepaid by my company, I would leave tonight.First, the vending machines are all out of stock and the hotel doesn’t have any bottled water. I had to drive down the road to get water for my room.Second, I’m wondering what this “stuff” is on the board above the curtains. It looks like it could be mould, but might just be some stain. I’m not sure.I’m not impressed. Directly next door is a Fairfield or one of the other Marriott properties. It looks much cleaner and the internet rate is less than this Best Western.
Room great, water scorching, clean, very quiet. Hairdryer, iron, coffee, fridge. Marred by first impression of lobby full of laundry trolleys and maids talking across each other, I couldnt hear the receptionist. We wanted to drop our bags as we are on foot. No bag drop. Receptionist indifferent. Zero customer service. Luckily the room is super. I just joined BW Rewards, unsure why!
We are rewards members, but did not receive bottled water, or any benefit usually given members. Desk clerk refused to give me a receipt for our stay because we paid for the room with points earned.Breakfast was ok...no salt or pepper available, sausage looked anemic and it was not attended. I dont think well go back. We love Tehachapi and stay there often when traveling.
Service at the establishment is pretty good. The owner and all the employees are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The property is clean and then a perfect spot for all your needs when traveling.
I had the worst experience at this place. From check in to check out the staff was rude and dismissive owner included. I was awoken by the owner dragging bed frames and banging the wall starting at 7 am. I arrived very late the night before and my much needed sleep was cut short. A $25 refund is insufficient. This photo was outside my door. The owner is the lady pictured.
I dont recommend the ground floor on the street side.. too noisy and traveling alone i didnt feel safe.But it was the desk staff that put the nail in this review. I wont stay there again.
Enjoyable stay at a relatively new hotel!Several restaurants within walking distance! They werent quite ready for breakfast, but the gal jumped and took care of our few items.We would stay here again!
Had a great stay here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Slept well in the cool and quiet room. Quiet meaning we didnt hear noise from outside like the railway. The air conditioning made enough sound for white noise but was not intrusive either. The Continental breakfast was good, very busy. Staff kept it up well, except for running out of waffle batter. The swimming pool was fun for all, water clean and warm. Same for the jacuzzi. Definitely recommended this location.
Ridiculous! My husband and i came to this hotel to get away. We got there late in the evening. Checked in and ate at a restaurant near by. We came back and were in the room for less than an hour when the POWER WENT OUT. There was no safety measures in place at all. PITCH BLACK! In the rooms and to our surprise also out in the hall. Absolutely no light. VERY UNSAFE. we waited a while thinking the power would come back on waited over an hour and then decided this was not a getaway for us at all. We grabbed our things and headed to the closest place w power. (Turns out the power didn’t come back on until 3am) the hotel would not refund us. We spent $171 to watch an hour of tv and then had to grab our stuff and pay for another hotel. Aside from not being able to provide services the lack of readiness was frightening. I’m pretty sure there are laws about it. Also when speaking a hotel staff about the refund one of the staff members told us to “tell the governor to stop turning the power off!” Which has absolutely nothing to do with our brief stay. Just a horrible experience.
Front desk needs more staff and hospitality training.They have one person, a long line and the phone is ringing non stop.Per another review, I confirm the elevator is sketchy.Room appears clean.I have stayed at Valencia Group hotels and paid less for a first rate experience.I advise staying someplace else.
The front desk, Brianna, was very cheerful and efficient. The rooms appear clean and maintained. Hot showers and comfortable beds were appreciated. The young man at front desk and breakfast worked hard to assure a good experience. One of the employees, an older lady, was not very kind to her co-workers and seemed to cause busywork for them, which made an uncomfortable explanation to my children on being kind even when having a bad day or early morning necessary, but overall, it was a good stay. We would visit again.
First, the beds were horribly uncomfortable, the room cards didnt work and the elevator was sketchy. The pool was outside and closed because it was cold. On top of the tv there was a camera like object. I covered the box and was still able to turn on, but made me feel weird. The water in the shower wasnt warm enough at times and limited on wash rags. With 3 adult people we didnt want to use each others washrags. Breakfast was good. No outside benches to sit outside and relax. All in all, I will not stay there again.
Staying here during covid-19 season so it was a bit weird but they handled it well. Rooms were straight forward, clean and reasonable spacious, no problem getting two connecting rooms. Pool was closed, obviously. Staff v helpful for getting things like disposable plates and flatware. Freight railway on other side of street, but it didnt disturb us overnight. Only a few mins drive to quiet, pretty town center where various restaurants were open for takeout. Very reasonable place to stay.
The staff are AWESOME!! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is delicious and well put together, as well as clean. The Housekeeping staff are friendly and efficient. Its nice to be able to share all good. Thank you!!
The Best Western Plus Country Park Hotel is an excellent choice if youre looking for both comfort and value. Their king bed suite is spacious and includes a sleeper sofa and refrigerator, as well as a large bathroom. The room was immaculate, much like the rest of the hotel. The hotel staff are usually extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, though we had difficulty locating someone to assist us with the nightmare of the breakfast area. Weve stayed here before and had no problems with breakfast, but this time was awful. Hardly any selections in pastry, nearly out of bacon and scrambled eggs (which had eggs shells in it by the way), a huge mess inside the microwave, and a waffle maker that wasnt functioning properly. Hopefully they work it all out before we stay there again.
Conveniently located near the freeway and shops.Rooms are clean and staff is friendly enough.Theres just some times when youll be waiting in the lobby for a bit if you need to check-in or a new key because you locked yours in the room.
Had the absolute worst experience with the front desk staff and the worst part is that the whole situation was entirely preventable. I booked 2 rooms about a month in advance for a wedding. About a week after the booking, I called the hotel to ensure the booking confirmation. They confirmed my reservation for 2 rooms. The date finally arrived for my trip and 30 minutes prior to arriving, I called to ask if it was too early to check in. The lady on the phone said it wouldnt be a problem. I arrived just before 3:00 and the front desk lady was on the phone with a customer. The phone rang again, she placed them on hold and for the next 30 minutes she continued the cycle of answering the calls until she finally addresses me. I ask if she was there alone and she said she was and that people always called at check in time. I tell her I was there to check in and she asks for an ID and credit card. I asked her if this was being charged and she said yes because I had not paid for the room. I showed her my receipt for payment for the two rooms and the confirmation number. She then proceeds to tell me that they didnt get payment and we go back and forth for a bit, and even though she acknowledges that Ive already paid, she asks me to make a payment again. Needing a room, I allow her to charge me again and decide that Ill contact their management tomorrow to get my refund. I then ask her if the name on the second room will have an issue and she tells me I only have the one room. I show her the confirmation AGAIN and she calls her manager to assist. Even though it clearly says I have two rooms in the confirmation, They had no record of this second room. I then go through the process AGAIN and end up paying AGAIN for another room. So what started out as 2 rooms for two nights has now ended up costing me the price of 4 rooms for 4 nights. I confirm with the lady that the second guest will have no issue checking in and she says she guarantees theyll have no problem.At midnight, my friend with the second room calls me because the guy at the front desk wont let them check in. I climb out of bed, walk to the lobby, and tell the guy that the lady at the desk earlier told me theyd have no issue checking in. The guy at the front desk told them they probably cancelled the room or booked someplace else and it must be their mistake. At this point I have had it with the horrendous customer service. The front desk guy smirks at me as I tell him my frustrations and when I asked for his name, he says nothing but continues smirking. He hands us a room key with no additional information and when my friend goes to their room, the deadbolt was locked FROM INSIDE. The front desk guy gave them a key to a room already occupied.Horrified and disturbed, we then had to go back to the lobby to the guy who refuses to give me his name (young man with blackfingernails) to request another unoccupied room. No apologies or acknowledgement of a mistake, he simply gives them a key to a new room.How on earth is any of this ok?!?!?
Stayed here one night on our way back from California to Florida. Nice little town. Hotel was your typical hotel room. It was clean and comfortable. There was only room coffee, no complimentary breakfast or coffee in the lobby.
This hotel was great. The room was nice. What was really special was the service. Leo and Sonia in particular. They were beyond friendly and personable. They met my toddler at check in. Remembered her name and visited with her every time they saw her. She loved them. And so did we. We will definitely be back. And it has a lot to do with them
I ride motorcycles, Harley Davidson to be specific and every time Ive stayed here it has been while traveling via motorcycles. The entire staff is always pleasant and welcomes us with open arms. The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is better than average. I would recommend this hotel
Hotel staff was wonderful. I know that they couldnt help this but half the parking lot was blocked off due to paving.Rooms are comfortable...but you can hear others in other rooms and outside your door. But honestly...this place was great.
It is not a luxury hotel, but it was clean, the mattresses were good, the sheets soft, and pillows fluffy, too fluffy according to my husband. Breakfast was typical with a waffle maker, yogurt, juices, cereals, pastries (didnt look inviting), eggs and sausage (including vegan). My husband is a dairy free, gluten free eater, and he was able to make a meal with oatmeal, banana, and sausage. We werent sure about some of the foods ingredients. The front desk receptionist found out for us cheerfully and quickly.
Called ahead to reserve room same day. Was given a discount and had a beautiful room on first floor as requested. Easy check in and out. Comfortable bed and very clean. Enjoyed our stay!4 stars for this one
My guestroom was a good size with a couch and chair. The place was clean and the interior was nice looking. I like that there is a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and a sink to wash my dishes. I used the amenities: gym, breakfast and internet. Overall I had a good experience and would stay at Best Western again.
We are traveling from Canada to Mexico. We found this BW on google. We were tired and needed a place to get off the road. I found the hotel to be very clean and modern. Breakfast in the morning was hot and good. We didnt get much for price option and felt the per night expensive. I gave the 4 star due to the friendliness of the clerk checking us in.
Had the worse experience ever. There was pee In the bath tub. Place is really dirty. Staff was so rude. 16 year old kid working there as a manager treated me like I was in high school. Told me he wouldnt give me a refund. I had to yell at this kid in order to get my money back, I shouldnt have to go that far to get a refund. I have a 7 month old daughter who was tired my wife was upset I was crying my wife was tired I was tired and my daughter was crying and it was 9:00 pm and I need to give my daughter a bath. As I was walking out of the hotel he said to me, have a nice time finding another hotel with a big smile. Who the heck is this kid to talk to me like this. Hes going to disrespect the wrong person one of these days.

Stayed here because of a funeral in town. Staff was very pleasant and our room very clean and nice. Large variety for continental breakfast. Beware they do have small red ant problems in the bathrooms and when notified they just hand you some ant bait and tell you they are full and there arent any other rooms available. For one night we just dealt with it.
Great place, very clean and comfortable, the shower water pressure is the best!! Nice king size bed, quite only thing is no hair dryer in room I wasnt expecting that 😳 but I would stay again for sure

Very disappointed! Not value for money. Corporate needs to spend more time on the front lines. Marketing material on site says complimentary breakfast hot and healthy as well as grab n go. No fruit. No bread products. There were a few of us
Very decent, clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms i LOVED the bed...the pillows look too small and uncomfortable but LOVED the pillows as well. If you stay during winter request for more blankets the room was freezing and took hours for the room to get warm.
Internet was sub standard, couldnt use my phone in the room had to go out to the street for any reception. Hotel staff called to say my room was being to loud and they dont allow parties, argued with me and I invited them to come to my room and they did, and realized it wasnt my room being loud. I stayed here for work, for 1 week, will not stay here again. I will say the hotel is clean and rooms are nice staff was nice, but if you need to use ur phone while out of town this is probably not the place to stay.
Stayed in a King Suite. Room was very spacious and well appointed. The free breakfast is great. Staff was very courteous and addressed any problems we had right away and resolved them. Great location right in the heart of town. This is the only place we stay in Tehachapi!
A great stop off. Lovely room and great restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast self-service in lounge. Nice bathroom and shower, plenty of towels. Reception kindly let us leave the car in the car park the next day after checking out while we went to explore. Lots to do and see in Tehapachi. Its got quite a local buzz, museum and annual cycle event. Very informative visitors centre.
They stole money from me. I checked out a day early. They didnt have the counter staffed. So I left the keys and a note. I called back to confirm that they had checked me out a day early. They hadnt. They charged the full amount, and did not believe me when I said I left early. Thats right--they STOLE my money, then accused me of LYING. Also, their cleaning staff doesnt wear masks. Best Western doesnt care about yours or anyone elses health.
There’s nothing wrong with this place, plus they have a great breakfast. The night shift clerk was especially helpful.
Rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice size fridge and microwave. During our three night stay the king suite room was extremely quiet. The blackout curtains function well, as is standard in most BestWestern properties. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.Nice TV, yet here was no channel listing provided in the room. I was unable to find any PBS or movie channels, which was rather surprising. Wi-Fi was easy to login to, very fast with a steady connection (albeit typically unsecured). Ethernet in room was not tested. Dont plan on enjoying the tap water, its pretty bad.Hot breakfast was welcoming with fair variety changing daily, open until 10:00 on weekends.For ~$135. per night (double occupancy) including tax, with an AAA or AARP discount, it felt a little pricey for the area and accommodations. Nevertheless, as has been in the past – our visit was enjoyable and I will probably continue to use this BestWestern the next time I wish to stay in Tehachapi.
This was not a Best Western Plus, we picked this hotel for the hot tub and swimming pool. Neither were available for the middle of June 🤷 we had to ask for help because our shower handle was broke. No beverages for our kids and no coffee in the lobby. Very disappointing stay
I’ve stayed here on multiple occasions and have not had a bad experience yet. Service is typically good, rooms are clean and large, as is the bathroom. Breakfast is fairly standard continential, but filling. Kohnen’s is a short walk down the street if you’d like something higher end in the morning.
Weve always stayed here when passing thru.Had to lower my rating, because the staff isnt masking, we couldnt open our window so no fresh air, and they couldnt tell me how to use the $50 gift certificate the BW Rewards program tells me I have.
Very nice room super clean! even with the (Corona virus) they offer a grab and go breakfast which is nice. Centrally located around all the food and stores and tehachapi.The young lady I dealt with at the front desk was very nice and also very helpful with restaurants and suggestions for what to do in tehachapi.
Good clean Hotel. Good service, good breakfast, with pool and spa, and a workout room. My only complaint would be there never seems to be handicapped rooms available and we have to always bring suction handles for my wife to use in the bathroom.
The room HVAC system was not working properly. During the night the unit would go from very cold to very hot and the fan, which was on automatic, never stopped blowing. MY wife complained because the air from the unit blows directly o the person on the HVAC side of the bed. Had to turn the unit fully off. Also no heat in the bathroom - even the ceiling heat lamp had been replaced with a CF spiral lamp.Breakfasts were very good as was cleanliness of room and facility. Staff was courteous and friendly.
DIRTY USED BED with lots of hair and other lumps, had to change room! Maid made it look like the bed had been used by putting fresh pillow cases on.Hair in bathtub (both rooms), nail clippings on floor...Nasty hotel and an even more nasty manager (agressive woman). Worse experience ever. Avoid at all costs. Also the breakfast was horrible.
The hotel is clean, well kept, with courteous staff. The rooms were nicely put together, and fairly large for what you pay for them. The overall experience was great!

Stayed here to split up a road trip. Great location, very clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast options and good coffee! Close to other restaurants for dinner or lunch. We would definitely stay here again if we were to pass through this way!!
Happy I only had to spend one night. The room was CLEARLY not cleaned. Found a cloth mask in the corner of my room presumably from the last guest. Hairs on the towels and the rug not vacuumed. Very disappointed, Ive been to Motel 6s with better rooms.
Pleasant stopover on a long journey. Room was large and well equipped and the breakfast was good. We would stay there again if our travel plans put us in Tehachapi at the right time.
I had a wedding and I blocked rooms here for my guests. We filled quite a few rooms for them. EVERY single person that stayed at this hotel all had their credit cards hacked and have been dealing with it sense. Not only that but one of my guests had their phone start ringing at 2 AM in the morning. They didnt answer and about 5 minutes after someone unlocked their room door with a key to come in! I have been so embarrassed that I blocked these rooms for my guests for these reasons. They need to figure something out.
This is the best place to stay if you need a break to long distance travel. Great location with, plenty of local restaurants nearby. Great rooms and service.I like an extra blanket and was happy to find one in the room.

A lovely location and was relatively peaceful for being so close to the main line of the railroad lines. Very clean and what staff we interacted with were dressed well and smiled - other hotels not so much. Very pleased as noted with 5bstars.
I chose this hotel because its rate was better than the other two choices in town. The hotel and rooms were surprisingly nice. Probably better than the other two locations of this caliber. I was super happy to pay a little less and get an amazing room.

We stay here because its the somewhat cleaniest hotel in town aside from the Fairfield Inn which is far more expensive.. The older little chinese lady is just plain MEAN! I know from growing up in tehachapi that she owns all of the HOTELS she has NO reason to be so unhappy. Like do you know how to smile lady. Smoke a joint or something jeez 🤦
This is a beautifully done hotel and the eooms are roomy, however the reason they received 3 stars is due to the price. They are over $30 more than the other Best Western I stay at. Its not like they had better amenities either. In fact, we had better breakfasts at the others. Also, walls are rodiculously thin. Heard two guys having a conversation who were not being loud in the room next to us. The whole experi encephalitis woukd ha e been more tolerable at the regular BW rate. Not at this higher price - wont stay here again.
Bob on reception could not have been more helpful. Room was a bit pricey but it was all that was available and so 2 people with 2 queen beds made it an expensive room. Had we booked earlier we could have had a cheaper king bed room. Great location and the village of Mariposa was wonderful
Best Western Plus Country Park Hotel in Tehachapi, California has been an excellent lodging experience for us, twice now. Both stays were a great experience, the location, staff, accomadations, and ammenities cannot be beat in the area. Overall excellent experience, very nice area, and look forward to staying there many more times. 5 stars.

One of the finest hotels for value in the Best Western chain. A large room with many amenities, good breakfast (for BW), comfortable bed, new, good business services, good TV—a great place to stay when in this community.
My room was satisfactory but staff was not friendly. I expect to be greeted with a smile and welcoming manner but didnt get that at check in/out. They need to work on that.
We had a horrible experience at the holiday inn in Tehapachi and came here last minute. I can’t thank the hotel enough for their outstanding service, cleanliness and hospitality. Highly recommend the hotel. Thank you!!

It was ok breakfast wasnt great. But most of all late checkout was not handled well room hadnt been cleaned or anything and lady still charged me for another night being a diamond elite member I was very dissatisfied with this and I will stay at Fairfield inn next stay in tehatchapi.
Travelling with my cat cross-country. Most or all Best Westerns allow small pets. Sometimes for a fee. Sometimes free. I was greeted rudely by a snobbish young man who curtly told me that no pets were allowed. I then asked if there were any hotels nearby that allowed pets, He walked away with a shrug.Never staying here or even stopping by.Luckily, there was another BW next door, imagine that! I stayed there - not the best of places - noisy with drinking party in the parking lot. Did not matter since we left early the next day.....I would give BW Country Park Hotel lessthan one star if I could ....:-(
Rude, Which I am assuming was the Manager couldnt tell. Never smiled once. She was argumentative. I will stay somewhere else next time. Which annoys me because I always make a point of staying in Best Westerns. Check in says 1:00 in the lobby on the sign and we were not allowed to check in.
Hotel is clean. The breakfast was what youd expect from a breakfast included hotel stay, nothing special. Everyone on the staff that we encountered was very friendly and helpful!
The front desk lady was very accommodating allowing me an early check-in. Also for the Pacific Crest Trail hikers very friendly. I would recommend nice pool as well and laundry
When I arrived with my confirmed reservation, I was told that type of room was all booked up. They offered me an upgraded room if I paid some more money. When I told the corporate office about it, they didnt care enough to even try to contact me.
Overall the staff here are very accommodating and helpful. There is a bit of a language barrier, but as I said they were helpful and accommodating all of the time.
Not what youre expecting if youre expecting a normal Best Western this place is top notch rooms were clean nice and big quiet overall very impressed and I used to work for Best Western this was probably the nicest one Ive stayed in.
Stayed here while on a cross-country drive. Nice room space, good view of the mountains. Friendly staff, clean rooms and hallways. Would go back if I needed to stay in town!
Stayed here on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of May. 1st time, and will stay here again. We were very impressed with this Best Western, great staff, really great room. We have stayed at many BW motels, and this one has been the best yet.
Room was very dusty, bathroom corners very dusty, hair in bathroom sink, fitted sheet barely covered King mattress. Walls are very thin.. You can hear people talking in next room.

This is a great stop on our road trip, conveniently off the freeway, quiet location, downtown for walking to restaurants nearby. Better of the two BW next door. Well worth the extra price for the quality.
Great experience, friendly staff, fresh breakfast choices, and the coffee was really good! Quite, clean, easy to find, not expensive. Well be back on our next visit to Tehachapi!

Its was a nice one bedroom with fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is in the bedroom. It has a nice deck.

Great hotel! Stayed in a mini king suite. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Would stay here again if in the area.
Light switches were cracked and checkout staff was asleep when I first attempted to check out. Towels were stained and had unknown type of hair in the towels.
The front desk was very nice and flexible with breakfast hours and Melissa was very helpful when we left our phone charger and held it for us to retrieve a week later.

When we stayed we also had our credit card hacked. This is an ongoing problem for a lot of people and when I asked for the situation to be resolved the top manager refused. They need to change out their electronic equipment asap.
We come to Tehachapi a few times a year & always stay here. The hotel is in a good location, cleane & is staffed by friendly & helpful people. Price is fair for the area.

This is a great place to stay. The room quality well exceeds the cost, very good breakfast too.
Internet service insufficient. Turns off and for some reason is necessary to make phone calls. Security risk making it impossible to receive calls.

This is a newer hotel conveniently located right off the freeway 58, the rooms are nice and clean and the customer service is outstanding.

This is a good choice for a place to stay in Tehachapi. It is conveniently located and the staff is friendly and helpful and the facility and rooms are nice, plus it has a pool.

2023-08-04 16:14:51Clean and spacious rooms. Hot breakfast and very nice workout room that includes a sauna. Although we did not have time to try it out.I was impressed by the gentleman working at the counter on the night shift. When we arrive at 11:30pm he suggested we choose the third floor instead of the first floor once the water pipes make a lot of noise. This small bit of info afforded us a much better sleep!I loved the bathrooms which were far more spacious than the average hotel, with a sink in the room and bathroom and a semi private space for the toilet in the bathroom.Overall a great location for anyone looking to stay over!

2023-07-10 17:54:16Unauthorized charges and no breakdown.After speaking with the manager and being turned away, I’ve decided to write a review.We stayed for two nights to visit family and enjoy the local festivities. The room, pool, and breakfast were as expected for the price. The front desk on the other hand wasn’t much to be admired, seeing how they were not friendly and untrained. Upon check in I was prompted to pay an amount not already agreed upon. I inform the young lady and she updates the amount and we move on. This should have been the first red flag.The same young lady was at the counter when I checked out. I made the mistake of not getting a receipt when I checked out. I had already seen on my credit card balance the amount that was to be charged and assumed all was well.Two days later I notice a charge for 145 dollars. Unclear what this charge is I call the hotel. I simply Request a breakdown of the charges from my stay. The second time I call after being told a manger would return my call, the manager interrupts me and rudely says I should have asked for one at checkout. (Clearly I should have.)I’m writing the review because I feel the hotel knows they’re in the wrong or has some shady tendencies, but won’t work with me to resolve. I have all the appropriate paperwork, just not the breakdown from the hotel. Having this would help both parties move forward. Instead, I’ve been treated as if I made a mistake and am putting a burden on the staff to answer a couple of my questions.If you choose to stay here, please double check your charges and be ready to get the run around if you have any requests. Hopefully this will be resolved soon as I would have stayed here again if our departure would have been different.

2023-06-28 02:11:20Very nice place, everything well-kept.Kudos to the owner/manager at the front desk.When I arrived with a 1 night reservation, I told her that I might need to stay for a second night -but wouldn’t know for sure until after 6pm today.No problem, she said, just let us know by 9am tomorrow.She added, if you want to stay late tomorrow, check out anytime before 1pm is ok.Later I was unloading my motorcycle under the portico.She came outside and said I could park it there all night, where the front desk staff could watch it.Wow, what great hospitality!I highly recommend this place.

2023-08-09 18:09:58Room was very nice. Pool was clean, there arent any ADA lifts and one of the rails on the hot tub is not anchored. Check-in took a long time because we used a Best Western gift card. Older woman that worked there was terse. She apologized when I pointed out that I felt she was being rude and blamed it on English as her second language. I would recommend she learn please, thank you, and excuse me since I didnt hear her use it when speaking to any guests. In my travel to other countries, these are some of the first phrases I learned.

2023-05-08 18:12:20Great location...front desk lady was difficult to understand. The amenities in the rooms made me chuckle..its as if the owners scavenged from multiple opportunities and left overs. Not a typical one brand of products. Very weird and did not bother using since it creeped me out. Room was clean and hotel was a good budget hotel. Felt safe which is very important. Breakfast was great in the morning so no complaints on the powdered eggs.

2023-08-21 16:00:11We stated in our reservation we had a dog, we get there and no pets allowed. The made reservations next door for us at a surestay? They said same owners but the allowed the pets. In all my time staying with best western I gave felt like I was down graded to the slums.
