I travel and eat at all different locationsI’ve been disappointed with the quality of food from surrounding establishments so I hadn’t high hopes for here….How wrong I was !!!!Friendly staff, and more importantly excellent foodThe menu is limited but this isn’t a bad thingLess dishes cooked to perfection is far better than a larger selection of poorly cooked food !There was a reasonable wait for my order but when it came……Fabulous, as tasty and fresh as experienced in Korea!Balance of spices and well presented authentic Korean foodNot overly seasoned and chicken cooked to perfection, moist and tender with the flavours absorbed from the sauceHeat was coming through but not overwhelming SPOT ON!Really surprised and these guys are on the nail with the accompanying sticky riceGo and support your local businessExperience the cuisine and Enjoy

Food was fantastic!! Everything was so delicious, exceeded expectations. Service great. Wasnt too busy so there was room to sit and enjoy the atmosphere in the restaurant. Got the Katsu pork and the portions were very generous. Also had a Mango Yogurt slush that tasted great on a warm night. Want to go back right away!

Our first time here and we had a warm welcome. Small place but everything is well kept and so clean. Feels like home. Parking can be tricky but its not a deal breaker. We had their BBQ beef short ribs, spicy calamari, and kim chi friend rice--everything was so delicious! Even before we left, we already claimed this to be our go-to spot for yummy Korean food!

Wow, delicious food! Had the bulgogi cup with kimchi and all was very tasty. The owners are a Christians and the name Beulah has biblical significance. Isaiah 42 :)

The stone pot bimbm bap is delicious, hearty, and soul warming. The kimchi and other banchan are very fresh and tasty. This little place is a gem, definitely worth trying out.

My husband found this spot from a simple Google search. The owners are friendly and the food familiar and very tasty. The place has an unassuming, neighborhood feel. Very comfortable and clean. Strongly recommend if you want a good meal, new to Korean cuisine but want the authenticity of a home cooked meal.

Great spot for quick and tasty korean food! For vegetarians: be sure to specify NO MEAT even if it isnt listed - I got the kimchi fried rice and it came out with beef in it. They apologized and made another, but best to avoid a situation alltogether

Kims Kitchen used to be where Beulah is now. Beulah is a worthy successor! (Not sure if same owner or they passed it down or whatever) This is really the only good place in Glendale that serves the traditional Korean fare. Go here for all your cravings, and def do NOT waste your time at other places ie. overpriced Jin Cook on Brand. Try the bibimbap or soon dubu! They also do delivery on their own website!

Been really into Korean bbq lately. Saw this place that was close by and decided to give it a try! Its a small little gem of a restaurant.I got the Galbi beef and bulgogi. Tastes really good! The Galbi here is probably my favorite out of the places I have previously tried. The bulgogi has this type of herb taste which I like because it sort of balances the sweetness out.The disposable chopsticks that were given to me had this weird fuzzy stuff on it, not sure if it was dirt or something?? Just make sure you check your chopsticks.

Delicious, authentic local spot for Korean food! We were staying locally in Eagle Rock during our last LA trip and this was crazy close. Had the fish, pork belly, and beef and all was so yummy. The banchan were also good. Highly recommend this place. Its definitely a local spot, as there are no fancy bells and whistles to the place, but you go for the food. And, theres free parking in back. Not many spots, but when we went we must have been early for the lunch crowd because all spots were open. In that area, free off street parking is a premium. All you Koreans craving or you Korean-loving foodies, definitely head to this spot for authentic fare. ; )

Reasonably priced Korean comfort food. I dont usually have the barbecue because you dont cook your own but all the other dishes are delicious and well-portioned. Great panchan, too. Ive been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal.

Very quick and easy pick up! Love how their food was packaged! Banchan was yummy (kimchi, spicy fish cakes, bean sprouts, scallion pancake)! Ordered chicken bulgolgi and kimchi fried rice! Both yummy! Would want to try the spicy chicken bulgolgi and the kimbaps next time!

I recommend this place, but keep in mind its a bit on the pricier side.What I like:-Food is good! From what I can tell, its quite authentic (Im not an expert in Korean food) and there are generally Korean patrons inside-Limitless banchan (side dishes). Theyre delicious, too-Menu is small and focused-Tables, dishes, silverware is clean-Service is generally good, although sometimes slowWhat I dont like:-Bit on the pricier side-Parking can be a pain. They have about 4 parking spaces behind and if they are full you will have to find parking on the street. Can be hard to navigate the parking lot as well. Just make sure to plan ahead!

Very good Korean food. All the other views are true. Everything is very fresh you get a bunch of little appetizers so you may not want to order too many dishes. And nothing is too salty. My favorite dish was The chilli squid and the glass noodles with beef

Does not stay open for hours listed. Came at 8 when closing time is 9 on a Friday night.One lady asked if we wanted a to go order.Another said that they ran out of food and thats why they were closing early on when we asked what their hours were.So either the first lady or second was lying.

The food is pretty decent but are very stingy with their white rice. Which is unusual for a Korean restaurant. You are unable to order an extra side of white rice online for delivery through square, so I asked for an extra and they would not amuse me. I would have paid you for it if I could! Lol. Now Im just unhappy with my lack of rice and having to cook my own right now. I would have given an extra star otherwise, because I only wanted to dock one for the prices but now I want to dock 2 for being un-k0rean about rice lol. Im honestly just going to go elsewhere now because my feelings are hurt, im Korean! I need a lot of rice! haha

I like their food, but some options are lacking in the amount of protein. Specifically, the bulgogi bowl or whatever it may be called tastes great, but it has very little actual beef. Good spot to get your korean fix though.

Not impressed with their food. I went today looking for kimchi soup. They didnt have any so I ordered the spicy tofu soup with beef. The soups broth was lacking flavor, it barely had a few really tiny pieces of meat, not very spicy and the tofu was basically disintegrating and turning into pudding instead of being firm as it should be for Korean or any other type of soups. The banchan consisted of kimchi which was not that good, some pickles, potatoes and plain bean sprouts. I also got a bowl of rice which was OK. The service was friendly and soup was boiling hot but like I said the food left a lot to be desired. I also overheard from another table that ordered the beef soup that the it lacked flavor. I ended up dumping my kimchi into the soup to give it some flavor and left most of the disintegrating tofu on the small bowl. All I can say that for $9.99 it was way to expensive for what it was. Not coming back.

It’s the go-to for authentic Korean food without the hassle and homelessness of the trek to Koreatown... Parking is tight but still less of a struggle than K-town drama, and for the price you can’t beat the portions. Kimchi jjigae is the BEST I’ve had anywhere. The marinade on the Kalbi is mouthwatering. What else needs to be said.... check it out. It’s small, but cozy. Very busy on Friday/Saturday nights.

I personally wouldnt order a tofu bowl because I know other places specialize in it, but if youre looking for a swiss army knife type Korean restaurant, Kims Kitchen is for you.-I personally like the knife cut noodles.Chewy noodles with a light but rich (in flavor) broth.-Their ban chan selection is decent considering the size of this place - literally just one room!SERVICE:So kind and attentive. I came to Glendale on vacation from Korea. I didnt want to waste time on a round trip to Koreatown, so I looked for a Korean restaurant nearby and found it. As many reviews say, the food tastes really good. I ordered ribs, soft tofu, tteokbokki, and bibimbap. Side dishes such as cucumbers, seasoned oden, green onion pancakes, and seasoned bean sprouts are presented neatly. One of my family members praised it, saying it was the most delicious ribs he had ever eaten in his life.However, compared to the excellent food, the male owners response was very disappointing. The space between the seats is too narrow to allow two adults to sit. You are asked to order food at the counter and bring your own water. I understand up to that point.While we were eating, the owner started pulling up all the blinds on the windows. eating foodHe didnt hesitate to do something that would create dust while he was doing it, and he did it without consent.When I went to the counter to pay, the owner asked me if I was from Korea (I think I heard this from the waitress who was serving me). The owner didnt even say hello until I paid. (In fact, he didnt even greet me when I entered). He said that there is a tipping culture in the U.S. and asked the student before even giving me change. He spoke as if he were teaching. I ordered, paid, and paid the bill myself, and he mentioned Americas tipping culture. I visited around 4pm and left a 20% tip. Reward yourself with delicious food, not in return for your services.This time I came from Korea on vacation, but over the past few years I have been to the United States on business and travel, and have been to many Korean restaurants and restaurants, but this is the first time I have felt so strange after eating so deliciously. This is my first time posting Google reviews in the US.Food is 5 stars. However, the service of the owner, who cleans while people are eating, confidently asks for a tip despite ordering, self-serving water, adding side dishes, and self-paying the bill, is 1 star. It would be better to have an employee working at the counter.
