2023-11-21 07:31:51I dined at Bevri on a Saturday night and found it to be a very good introduction to Georgian cuisine. Particularly noteworthy is their new beef cheek dish, which is exceptionally tender and well-prepared. Another pleasant surprise was the Georgian pear soda, offering a unique and enjoyable taste. The service was adequate, though nothing extraordinary. The restaurant was crowded, so I advise making reservations in advance. The ambiance is lively, though it can get noisy. In terms of value, Bevri is on the pricier side, but it might be worth it for those interested in exploring new cuisines.I recommend Bevri for anyone looking to try Georgian food for the first time.

2023-11-06 22:03:26My first experience of Georgian food and hopefully not my last !My other dinner guests were experts on the cuisine as they recently visited the country and were able to guide me through the menu.Food was delicious and I highly recommend trying this place. Also the robot dish collection was fun !

2023-10-13 10:11:36Was recommended to try this by a coworker. Georgian restaurant with another location in Palo Alto. Good food, good service. Definitely recommend the khachapuri and khinkali. Apparently you don’t eat the dough on the top of the dumpling. They were kind enough to show us how it was supposed to be eaten, too. I think they also automatically charge tip, so keep that in mind.

2023-08-28 03:10:38Great new Georgian restaurant in Los Altos. The team here creates all their food from scratch, this isnt reheated or mass produced (e.g. the spreads, bread, sausages - everything - is prepared on site). Im no expert on Georgian food but the flavors of the base ingredients shine through. For the preparation effort needed to make this happen, the prices are reasonable. The wine flight here is also a lot of fun!

2023-05-22 17:55:57Was looking for a new place to try for our GNO, and came across Bevri. There is a location in Palo Alto, but the location in Los Altos was much closer to us. I have to say, anything and everything about this restaurant was great. The food was amazing, the quality and quantity great, the service was pretty darn good.Upon arrival, they were packed inside and out, but we were seated immediately; I like when a place understand the concept of ‘reservations’. We sat inside where tables are nicely spaced out. They have a full bar, but we opted to cork our own wine; corkage is $35 a bottle. The food is soooo good, and since I didn’t order (friend ordered for the table to share family style), I have no idea what each item is called, but it looks as good as it tastes, just show the waiter my photos. EVERYTHING we had was DELISH. The dumplings are huge so don’t order too many at once; can add on if you need to. There is also a cheesy bread thing; you HAVE to get that.I haven’t had good food like this in a long time. And the service was sooo great. And honestly, it wasn’t a pricy meal at all. Two apps, three entrees, dessert and a bottle of wine between four girls cost us each $55 after tax and tip. Not bad if you ask me.We found parking pretty easily bc we got lucky someone was pulling out as we arrived to the strip. But I’d definitely allow some time to find parking as it looks like it can be pretty busy.

2023-05-15 05:17:02I didnt know what to expect from a Georgian restaurant but I was fascinated by Bevris food and flavors. Dont skip the appetizers, the cheese bread is delicious (and very cheesy) and the dumplings are amazing (dont forget to ask how youre supposed to eat them, this will make all the difference). As entree we had a whole grilled fish that was super fresh and light.

2023-11-30 04:47:00The traditional Georgian salad which is served on a flat plate with the food displayed in a visually attractive manner had become a pre mixed bowl of chopped up tomatoes and onions and sauce. It was just thrown into the bowl. My Cornish chicken contained a very small amount of extractable flesh and finally the wine which is all married in a clay pot had as I suspected an unappealing flavor. No local wines were available. I suspect there were better options for me on the menu but I will not be keen too return.
