Surprisingly good food. The pan fried buns (生煎馒头) are crunchy on the bottom, juicy on the inside, and taste more or less authentic. The cucumber salad is quite flavorful and good too. The hot and sour soup is also decent and comes in a huge portion.Overall quite satisfied and a big upgrade over previous establishments at this location.

I dont write many reviews, but this place deserves one. Great people and great food. Its a hybrid of American Chinese and typical stuff you find in China.We ordered the Eggplant in garlic sauce, think of it like a hot and sour soup with eggplant and no soup, 5/5. Next thing we tried were the Peking spare ribs, as any Asian person knows, always chew slow. They fry these babies up bone in. The sauce was just the right amount of gooey sweet, 5/5. We got an order of their Juicy-pan fried pork buns. It came out a bit deflated, so the owner was kind and comped them for us. He didnt need to, not the best Ive ever had, but a good example of what they should taste like, 4/5. Lastly, their pumpkin pie... Its not American Pumpkin pie by any means. Asian pumpkin filling, deep fried in a wet batter. Ate like a mochi, 4/5.Go check this place out. They hustle and their food is tasty!

I got a menu on my car at oakridge mall… definitely caught my attention! Had some family come into town and wanted Chinese food so I had to try! New place in south San Jose, been open for two months! Placed a togo order over the phone and the woman on the phone was helpful & friendly! Came to pick it up & paid in cash. The place was spacious & clean! They offer lunch specials as well! We ordered pan friend pork buns, sweet & sour fish, bokchoy, salt & pepper squid, green beans, beef chow fun & walnut shrimp all for $134 which is pretty reasonable cause the portions were large. When we came to pick up, Summer & Amy helped us and they were so nice!! Offering water, condiments & utensils. Food was delicious!!!!! Everyone loved it!! I will definitely be coming back to dine in!

All the menu we ordered were delicious. I forgot to take the picture of the dumplings. They are also very good. The service was great. The restaurant is clean and just newly renovated.

This is the best Chinese food I have had in years. The pot stickers and Mongolian beef are my favorite! The kids like the sesame balls. We will come back again!

Great place! Generous portions, pretty quick in prep and everything tasted great. Pork pot stickers were big, crunchy and had a unique and wonderful flavor.

My familys favorite Chinese restaurant for the past 25 years has closed, and I have been seeking a replacement. I have tried countless places with no luck. Until now. Big Fish has come the closest to our fav and we are so happy!Also, THRILLED they replaced the grease trap that was there before.Delivery was quick and the food was steaming hot!They are, however, a bit pricey. Still going back, though!

Absolutely one of the best beef noodle I’ve had. Surprise! I really enjoy this fresh noodles, the juicy soup and the stewed beef itself. Plus, the price is much much more reasonable than most Asian noodle restaurants.

Our family just ordered from Big Fish for the first time, spending about $74. I drove down to the restaurant to pick-up our order, paid, and then drove back home. At home, we discovered that they didnt include the lemon sauce for the lemon chicken (to which we had to drive all the way back to the restaurant for, causing our food to get cold). In our order of (5) spring rolls, we only received (4). We had to throw out the chicken salad because it had way too much salad dressing on it, it was basically like a lettuce and chicken soup, so gross. Why cant they just put the dressing on the side so we can choose how much dressing we want? And on top of that, we didnt even get our hot mustard for the salad, no soy sauce packets, and no fortune cookies - something that all other Chinese restaurants provide to customers. Bottom-line, we had cold food, missing lemon sauce, missing spring roll, uneatable chicken salad, no mustard, and not even any soy sauce or fortune cookies. This was probably the worst take-out order weve ever had. We will most likely never eat there again.

Only got one picture because the food went so fast! We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, pan-fried pork dumpling, braised tofu with mushrooms, and beef chow fun. They were all good, but we especially loved the honey walnut shrimp. The owner and waitress were super nice, and brought us seasame balls on the house (which were fresh!!). Would 100% come back.

Came here for lunch to try it out. Had the juicy pan fried pork buns and the pork house special. Juicy buns were incredibly juicy and tasty! House special was a little spicy just like they said it would be. Everything was delicious and the wait staff very attentive. Will definitely be coming back to explore the menu more!

Got here after the lunch crowd. Excellent and unusual dishes we the Mo shu pork, an onion pancake, dry strong beans and the stir fryer cumin lamb (nicely spicy but a little salty). Everything was yummy. Service is friendly and efficient. Need to come back and try the scallops and pork belly dishes!

Good food, but the order was wrong. Despite them telling me the recipes were the same as the previous owners, my order was completely different. I ordered General Tso chicken and what I got was not that. It was a stir fried chicken with mushrooms and snow peas rather than every photo I see on google that shows it being breaded and fried like orange chicken.Would eat here again, just be warned: if you order general Tso’s chicken, you won’t get anything like google images shows.

Cambrian is finally getting good Chinese food and Big Fish is evidence of that. Quality of food is raising the bar here. Location was remodeled from the previous restaurant style, to more modern and clean styling. They also seem to be aware that this is not Cupertino and have attitude more open to non Chinese speaking clientele. We will frequent this place.

Good food and service. Theyre still in their soft opening, so its cash only until they get a credit card reader. Dumplings and noodles are good and house made. The sesame balls are freshly made as well.
