2023-11-26 22:02:57Delicious, smokey BBQ that tastes even better than it looks! Served-up quickly with some chips and a dill pickle. If you have a few extra minutes passing through town, I highly recommend giving these folks a try.

2023-04-28 01:12:16The customer service definitely needs some work. When we entered, there was no greetings or anything. It didnt feel welcoming. The inside of the restaurant is nice and well themed, though. The food is decent for some BBQ. They are still new and will definitely give it another chance in the future.

2023-03-31 22:41:28Owner was friendly, courteous & explained to us the different meat cuts! We had the 2 meat platter (back ribs/brisket), a tritip chicharrones nachos and he gave us an extra hotlink as well! Portions are rather huge for 4pax asians, but overall t was a satisfying meal for a stop-by :)

2023-09-10 23:35:54Went there after church, and no one was there. We were a little worried it might not be good because there was no crowd, but the wonderful smell encouraged us. Im glad it did because it was delicious. Our entire party raved about the food. We all tried something different, and it was all cooked perfectly. Excellent flavors and textures. We will definitely be back! Kind and generous service, too.

2022-12-09 06:42:34I’m from North Carolina and I’ve had a hard time finding a bbq place that compares to southern bbq in California, but this place was amazing. The owner is from Texas and knows how to smoke good meat. He is friendly and gives a good portion size. Everything exceeded my expectations, but the brisket was incredible. 🤤😋I’ll definitely be coming back and will probably even become a regular customer.

2022-09-18 22:54:03We just had a killer lunch at this place! I had brisket, green beans with bacon, a different tasting sweet coleslaw, and non-greasy fries! My husband had a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun with the coleslaw and dill pickle. I gave him my Texas toast as I am gluten free. We will definitely stop here again! For anyone traveling through Los Baños, its definitely worth stopping! They are moving around November 1 closer to downtown. Come hungry! I brought half of mine home!

2023-08-28 02:49:23The brisket is amazing! I talked to Kenneth and ordered the biggin dinner for the family and it stuffed us all! He was out one of the meats but made up for it with the other meats and sides. Potatoes salad and baked beans are awesome! Definitely recommend a visit if youre driving through LB! Ask for Kenneth and you wont go wrong! Thanks guys!

2023-11-11 01:28:16Best BBQ I’ve had in forever! We were driving through on the way from the Bay Area to Turlock, for my godson’s soccer game, and we decided to stop for dinner. I saw “Texas BBQ” and decided this should be it, and I’m so glad I did. To be clear, I’m originally from Texas and grew up eating my grandfather’s amazing BBQ, so I’m very picky about it. I haven’t had anything nearly as good since moving to California over 16 years ago, but this place has broken that streak.I ordered the 2 meat plate with brisket and tri tip, with potato salad and charro beans on the side. In addition, my friend ordered the Porky Butt (pulled pork) sandwich, and the kids got the 1/2 lb of brisket with fries, with a cornbread waffle for the table.Universal opinion from everyone is that the food was amazing. However, 3 of us declared that the brisket was the best, tender and very juicy, the crust on it was flavorful, with a slightly crusty texture, with no trace of a burnt flavor. The fourth person preferred the tri tip, his usual favorite, because it didn’t have the small traces of fat that made the brisket so juicy and tender. Before I scare anyone away with the idea of fat on the brisket, there wasn’t a ton of it. I can’t handle the texture of large pieces of fat, but the amounts on the brisket weren’t problematic for me. As for the sandwich, I didn’t get a bite, but my friend was raving about how it was probably the best pulled pork she’s had in memory. As for the food, I’d rank the best thing as the cornbread waffle (cute, in the shape of Texas, wish I’d remembered to take pics before we ate), the fries were super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the potato salad was good (I prefer it with more mustard, though), then the charro beans, which were good, but everything else was better.I highly recommend stopping here for a meal if you’re in the area.

2023-01-09 00:52:16Delicious bbq. Meats are tender and tasty. Side dishes are fresh. Reasonably priced. We ordered the 4 meat combo and had leftovers for the next day. I’m from the southwest and this place serves REAL bbq tasting meals. Well worth the money 😋😋
