This was my first time buying and I have to say that I am happy with it! I guess they cycle through different kinds and today I had the beef bao and garlic chicken bao. I loved the beef bao but the garlic chicken was even better! Definitely recommend both if Im being honest. Not sure what the sauce was called but went well with these baos though if you want to eat them by themselves you definitely can and it will taste good. My only complaint is that for the price, I wish I got 4 instead of 3 baos. Otherwise, it was overall great! The man taking orders and ringing me up was kind and helped explain to me what I was getting. This place is located in the SLO public market so similar to my last review in this area, the location was nice and busy but not overly crowded. Id recommend this place!

100% the best Asian food in SLO. On Thursdays they do Korean style fried chicken and it’s absolutely phenomenal.Their bao is always well cooked and delicious, but when Bing tells you that something is spicy you better believe them, the spice does not mess around.Cannot recommend this spot enough. It is the first place I run to when I visit SLO public market. My only gripe is that they are not open more often.

Hands down the best in SLO County. Korean fried chicken is perfect. They’ve certainly mastered the bao. Love the new location in the SLO Public Market! 🐼❤️🍗🍚🥟

Bing’s Bao is a godsend to SLO. We would go several days a week if we could. The bao is so comforting to eat and their spicy fried chicken is… next level. 🥵 Hurts in a good way. Definitely make sure to follow them on Instagram for changes to the menu, they are regularly sharing updates and updated timelines. They’re family owned and passionate about the quality and flavor of their food. They’re highly customer centric, even trying to remember names of frequent customers. They bring so much happiness to people through their food. Love this spot.

Bings Bao is one of the best places to dine in SLO! Excellent quality and a slice of foreign food made locally. The owner is absolutely magnificent and works hard to make delicious dishes and excels in what she does! With varieties between savory meats and delicious vegan options for those who have preferences. If you are a SLO local and have not been to Bings Bao yet, make it your next stop for lunch!

Really nice owners and I love the experimentation with non traditional flavours, pretty rare for bun shops.

My sister wanted to eat here for the Bar Buns and Im happy she took me with her! It was well worth the wait in line. These buns are amazing and the best BAO weve had since the 1980s in Los Angeles Chinatown. LOVED the Mushroom Bar Buns and will return! Thank you to the ladies running it on Sunday May 15, hard workers and great food!

Long story short everything about the bao is great - dough and folding, the unique fillings, and especially the exceptional, ginger-forward chili sauce. But the customer service was even better.I was looking for something a bit special for my brothers bachelor party in the area and stumbled across Bings, saw they even had a webform to request fillings! Its the sort of thing you fill out wondering if the place will even bother to respond to you. But Sam from Bings corresponded with me for a while to nail down a filling my brother would love and even offered to give us our bao earlier than opening time to fit our schedule.Char Siu bao was a perfect breakfast for us all to eat on the way out after a great weekend involving no small amount of alcohol. SLO is lucky to have this business!

Brillant Bao-mongers Blast-open the Buniverse! The local Buniverse will never ever be the same since the Bings are here. This charming Mom & Pop & two little Kid-uns super-team are just what the cultural wasteland of the Central Coast needed.I literally have eaten Buns & all kinds of Dim Sum thousands of times, all through the USA, Europe, Asia, & Hawaii....and have yet to have anything close to Bings Baos.I will now never look at a Dim Sum Food Cart with envy for pedestrian Buns, since the Bing Family has ruined me for life. The Mushroom Baos were Bursting with savory Chai Sui yumminess, that one cannot find on any cart that I know of. The filling to dough ratio was beyond anything I have dreamed of before, and they must have modeled them on ambrosial versions found in the heavens.Originally, I was going to go for the pork version, but apparently, it would have taken more than an hour for a new batch. The owner was wonderful & offered to give my money back or switch to the Vege Bun.Since I read every Facebook post from the Bings for the past several years, there was no way, I was walking out without trying some Buns.So while I waited to get eats from two next door vendors, namely Bahts great Curry & CCCs wonderful stinky Cheeses, I also waited for the Buns to be.Yes, one may have to deal with a wait, or even lines, or even a sold-out situation, but it is all well worth the wait. Once you sink your jaws into a succulent Bings Bun, all is OK with the darned world. This hardworking Mom & Pop, went from selling Buns from the home to running this start-up business, while raising two little Bings, & working two other jobs...so please applaud their can-do attitude, especially in these times. The mom hails from NJ, right near where I grew up in the Big Apple. Both Mom & Pop missed great Dim Sum-type eats in the Central Coast and decided a few years back to actually do something about it. Amazingly, despite being new at this Bun-fabrication, they somehow made major advances along the way.It may even make you forget we have a Pandemic or even a pending Apocalypse!Dont worry, look up...there are Bings Bao Buns...Yes, they are that amazing.

Absolutely incredible bao. Their spicy kimchi is to die for, bought the kimchi and finished it in three days because I had it with every meal!
